The Monn has a great location, only 3 minutes walk to reach the main beach. Right rapt the center of town, next to the apartment there is the famous Hotel Le Sirenuse. The apartment is on the last floor of a 3 floors building. The view is incredible.
There are two bathrooms 2 bedroom a large lounge room, and a kitchen. All the rooms have a stew view.

Perfect Positano location!

This was the perfect location for us and the view is outstanding from the long balcony/porch. Checkin was easy and the apartment was spotless and comfortable. This location is central off of the main road and only 10 minutes walk down to the dock and beach.

We had a wonderful trip that ended with a week in Positano. This VRBO was in a perfect location that afforded us access to everything, yet provided much needed privacy. 5-stars all around!

Amazing Location and View

Milena’s property is beautiful and just as listed - but the view is so great it's hard to capture it in pictures. Communication was prompt and helpful, check-in/check-out was easy, and Milena provided helpful local information and took care of setting up transport to the airport. We would definitely stay again if we get back to Positano!

The best accommodation in Positano

This exceeded our expectations so much! The location is PERFECT, the house was spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was a million dollar view. The beds were good. Our host met us at the house and gave us good recommendations. We were so glad we chose this house.

The unit is fantastic, as is Milena. The balcony is unbelievable and we enjoyed the incredible views, which are as good or better than the leading hotel views nearby. I highly recommend this unit.

Amazing view and amazing host

Maria Teresa coordinated our transportation from Naples, met us on the street and even helped with our bags up the stairs. The view was beyond amazing and the apartment well cared for and comfortable. She went above and beyond to assist us and provide recommendations for dining etc. she was very quick to answer texts and it made for a magical time in Positano!!

Maria was amazing!! She was so incredibly helpful in arranging transportation service and dinner reservations for my birthday. There's a small grocery just down from our villa whcih was great to make breakfast. Thr accommodation was perfect in every way from location, layout, amenities, balcony, MARIA, MARIA, MARIA and MARIA!! She really made our stay perfect! Thank you for everything!

The best in Positano

Of course we see the pictures but when you walk in it takes your breath away from every room in this spacious beautiful apartment. It’s comfortable, great bed, mattress and sheets . Day or nite the view is spectacular. We took full advantage of the outdoor dining, many nites met with fireworks or church bells. At the beach , the ferries will take you to Caprì , Amalfi , Sorento so easily no car is needed. Lastly to have Maria and Milena felt like we had a friend in town ready to checkin or help us with any needs….It doesn’t get better than this !!

Best view in Positano

This vrbo is absolutely stunning. It has a wraparound porch with a complete view of the sea and landscape. The location is perfect, right next to Le Sirenuse and on the main road for shopping. Every night we enjoyed the sunset on the patio before dinner. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the main beach. The picturesque ceramic spot is just outside the entrance. There is a CB store across the street. Maria was the best host! She had snacks and Prosecco for us upon arrival and answered all of our questions. She even booked our transfers. Definitely walk to Fornillo Beach - the walking path is gorgeous along the coast. There is cable, netflix, full kitchen and AC in the unit.

Spectacular !!!!

The apartment is in a perfect location. We were in walking distance to pretty much everything. It was clean, nicely decorated and had SPECTACULAR views. We had everything we needed. The apartment is very spacious and nicely appointed. We were there for a week with our two daughters, 18 & 22 and wished we could have stayed longer. Our host Maria was absolutely AMAZING!!!. She was there for us for whatever we needed whether it was booking transport or making a reservation for us or just answering questions. We HIGHLY recommend this apartment! No reservations whatsoever. Thank you Maria. We will be back one day.

Appraisal of The Moon

A wonderful stay a The Moon. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Check in was smooth. Maria was efficient and helpful. The bed comfy and the linens just the way I like them. Only two minor shortcomings; there are no comfortable chairs on the balcony for sitting and enjoying the view or to read, only metal bistro chairs. Secondly, the disposal of trash was confusing and difficult to undertake as certain items have their designated pick up day. Being there for only four days we had items that did not qualify for pickup, so we had to find a garbage can on the street or face a penalty from the owner. Otherwise a lovely stay. We highly recommend The Moon.

Amazing Positano Stay

We had the best short-term rental experience here. Melina was absolutely a wonderful host. We booked our stay in Positano knowing just that we wanted to stay in the charming town, but had not researched the best way to get to town as we were on a 30-day Europe trip and busy exploring. Melina suggested a transfer from the Naples train station and booked it for us, which made all the difference, ensuring a wonderful start of our stay in the Amalfi Coast. She even had dinner ready for us since the restaurants and stores would be closed by the time we arrived at 10 PM. Melina also helped us arrange day trips and answered any questions we had about the area. She is by far the best host we’ve had and truly made our stay in Positano phenomenal! Because of her, we were able to explore and enjoy everything the coast had to offer in the short 5 days we were there. The space is also great - exactly as pictured! Clean and well kept. The views are breathtaking!!! We throughly enjoyed having a kitchen so we could prepare small meals ourselves and enjoy the panoramic views from the balcony. The apartment is centrally located - just steps from shops, restaurants, and the beach! We loved walking to the grocery store and meat market just down the steps from the apartment, picking up local food and snacks, and enjoying them on the balcony! Overall, just an amazing place and wonderful host! We hope to go back annually!

Perfect location, spectacular views, comfortable apartment

Positano is a city of steps which definitely impact your visit. There is no avoiding the steps but staying at a property that has minimal steps to navigate on a daily basis is a huge plus. Maria's apartment has the perfect combination of central location with the minimal amount of steps to navigate combined with a comfortable setting and a wonderful view. The photos are accurate. The entrance to the apartment is on the main road that meanders through the city. There are 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment, about 40 steps or so. We are in our early 60s and the first time up the stairs was a bit of work but we quickly became used to them and soon they became an afterthought. Along the main road are restaurants, food markets, a bakery, a pharmacy and a variety of retail shops. The delicatessen that is mentioned in many of the reviews is actually well stocked with fresh produce, pastas, cheeses, wine, beer, soft drinks and water. They also sell sandwiches beginning around noon or so. Their sandwiches must be known as a go to on the tours as the store becomes very crowded with tourists lining up to buy the fresh made sandwiches. There are steps that you can take to this shop off of the main road but if you continue on the road for another 200 feet you will find a store lined walkway on the left that brings you to the entrance without any steps. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

Wow - couldn't have asked for a better property

My husband and I spend 2 weeks at this wonderful property this October. Milena was an excellent host answering questions in advance of our trip and was incredibly helpful with many topics when we were there. She arranged an airport pick up for us, as well as a private driver for a full day trip to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum (highly recommend). She helped us with many other small details during our stay. The property has the most magnificent views of Positano and the sunset (the wrap around balcony allows for a range of stunning views). It is ideally located right on the main local road so only about 40 steps from the street level up to the apartment (and this is important in a vertical city!). The good news is you do not hear the street noise because the living space faces to the sea. It is an easy walk down to the sea and many restaurants & shops. There is a fantastic small grocery store (The Delicatessen) within 5 minutes walk that we stopped at pretty much daily for supplies. The family that owns the shop, as well as the staff, are extremely friendly particularly when they see you everyday - I miss them :-( Having A/C in the unit was a huge plus - - we didn't need to run it all the time, but it was still pretty warm in October and it cooled the property off nicely in mid-late afternoon. Even though the kitchen is small, it met our needs for breakfast, making our own lunches (we hiked almost everyday), as well as a fantastic private cooking class with Antonio Satriano Casola (search by his name - - he's on facebook) and his wife Adrianna. We also did make a few small dinners. We could not have been happier with this home away from home in an amazingly beautiful city! You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing property. If we could give her 6 stars, we would. She made everything so easy and helped us with even the tiniest detail, from dinner reservations and city transfers, to answering silly questions about ferry times, any time of day. And the apartment was picture perfect, with every amenity. We sat on the balcony with our morning coffee and also watched the boats every night. If our family wasn’t growing we’d stay here every year. Thank you for an amazing holiday. Cheers!

Wow! Great view and easy walk to the beach

Having been to Positano before, I wanted to be able to enjoy the view from a hillside home but also be close to the beach - this home was exactly what we were looking for. First, the terrace offers spectacular views of the sea and the hills. Each morning we sat at the terrace table, (which can hold 6 people) to enjoy our breakfast and coffee. Very close by is a small market with all the basics like milk, bread and pastries plus fresh fruit and prepared meals. Just a few doors from that is another shop where you can choose from a number of bottles of wine plus meats and cheeses sliced however you like. The terrace continues around the apartment so that each of the 2 doors in the living room plus the door in each bedroom opens out on the balcony, so you can have a view of the sea from your bed. The bedroom with the bunkbeds also has a small balcony looking out over the street. The apartment came with packets of jam, small packs of bread, coffee, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, as well as fresh basil growing on the balcony which we were welcome to use (and did). The main door to the building is right on a road (not down any steps) and the apartment is on the top floor which is reached by about 40 stairs, so easy to access. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes down stairs and ramps lined with little shops and then you're right on Spiaggia Grande, in the heart of the action. From here you can walk to Spiaggia Fornillo or rent a kayak or boat or take a shuttle to one of the smaller beaches with restaurants and chairs and umbrellas if you want to get away from the crowds. Our host helped with a number of questions we had and also helped us find the best option for hiking the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) a spectacular and challenging hike that takes you up to about 550 meters above sea level. We took the Positano bus to San Lucca in Praiano and took the stairs up the trail then hiked to Nocelle and then took the 1,500 steps down to the road back to Positano before taking more steps down to Spiaggia Arienzo where there is a public beach and a beach club where, if you prebook, you can have lunch and beach chairs for the rest of the day then take their shuttle boat back to the main dock in Positano. We loved our home in Positano and would definitely recommend it.

Magical

We give the highest possible rating for this property, and its managers. Where to begin? First, the location is absolutely perfect. It’s located on the main drag at a low enough level that it’s only a 10 minute walk down to the beach. It being on the main drag, it’s easy to walk to tons of excellent shops and restaurants. Second, there is the view. If there is a better view in Positano, I’d love to see it as the view from the property is simply perfect. The apartment sports a wrap around terrace that must be 30-feet long and ends on a large porch with a table for four that overlooks the classic Positano vista as well as the Mediterranean. We sat out there early and often and it’s a great place to have coffee. The apartment was large, well appointed, clean, fully stocked, and very comfortable. And our hosts were awesome. With Maria, you get a built in concierge who helped us book drivers and an excellent side trip to Pompeii. If you need an outstanding driver and guide to Pompeii, ask Maria to hook you up with Paolo. He spoke perfect English and knew everything about Pompeii and the Positano area. And you also can’t go wrong with having Claudia as a guide at Pompeii, she was excellent. We give the property and our hosts an A++. We missed the place the second that we left.
