Great cheap place to stay. The view was beautiful and in a great location. The price was extremely worth it. Overall, a very beautiful home. The host was friendly and communicative. The check-in and checkout was very easy and no issues. My only complaint was the place is in need of a super deep cleaning.

Beautiful view and quiet location to enjoy your Kauai vacation. Sharilyn was quick to respond to questions, too. Beds were comfortable which can really make your vacation better! Not a lot of basic supplies in kitchen such as olive oil, seasonings, etc. Overall a positive experience.

Sherry was very communicative. We extended our trip and she was very accommodating. We did have issues with the refrigerator needing replacement so had to switch to coolers halfway through our stay. Fortunately future guests will not have this issue. The view is spectacular and grateful to see it first thing every morning!

Amazing ocean views from lanai and bedrooms. It was nice having a washer, dryer, beach chairs and umbrella. Well kept grounds and pool. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again soon.

Our stay was lengthy and so we made it our home away from home. The views from the bedrooms and lanai were stunning! That is the sole reason to rent this place. As previous reviews said, the place needs a thorough cleaning and many items need replaced or upgrades. However, everything worked fine and after an initial cleaning, we enjoyed our stay immensely! Easy in and out as well!

Location is amazing. Beautiful view! Easy to access, good WiFi (update instructions on VRBO though - instructions at home are correct), and hassle free stay. Glad to have access to chairs, and other items. Made the beach days great!

Great location, wonderful view!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was so quiet and peaceful. A great location with very well maintained grounds. The views from every window are amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Whereas the location of the condo was perfect, the filthy condition we found it in was unacceptable, especially since I paid a 210 cleaning fee. We arrived on Sun 9/6 to find the toilet bowls not cleaned, the towels unlaundered and the sheets on the bed not changed - we located hairs and dirty spots in all of these locations. The floors were making our feet dirty and the furniture was dirty and smelled. The refrigerator did not have an ice maker and there were no ice trays to make ice. Since a hurricane was coming we improvised some ice trays out of the random plastic containers, after thoroughly washing them first as they were all dirty. I contacted Sherry shortly after our arrival to inquire about the possibility of dropping off some cleaning supplies and her response was she had cleaned the toilets herself and there should be supplies in the hall closet or under the bathroom sink - not so. When I told her the towels were dirty she said she would drop some more by tomorrow if the roads were open. I told her not to come out until things cleared up. Well, things did not clear up and approximately 24 hours later the power was knocked out, not to return for the remainder of our stay. I believe Sherry lived near by and was experiencing the same power outage. I contacted her on 9/8 to let her know everything was ok. We left the condo on 9/11, cleaner than when we arrived, a day early, after staying there for 4 days without power. We have never heard another word from the host.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL RENTING this property, especially if you have children, asthma, or allergies.We ended up leaving and paying for another rental because this condo was not safe for my son, who has chronic asthma and a severe dust allergy.Upon arrival, the condo was dirty, smelled musty, had thick dust on every ceiling fan, cockroaches (including in the washer), a leaking master bathroom, loose light fixtures, a taped dryer door, and Wi-Fi instructions that didn't work. Cell service is also very limited.Within 20 minutes, my son's asthma was triggered. We called the host, left a voicemail, and waited over 3 hours for a response while sitting at the pool because he couldn't stay inside. As it approached 8 p.m., we had no choice but to find another place to avoid risking a trip to the hospital.When the host finally responded, she simply stated the condo had been cleaned two hours earlier and showed no concern for my son's health. She refused any refund or assistance. VRBO also declined to help because they said refunds require proof of an infestation and ultimately depend on the host's approval.The view is beautiful, but cleanliness and communication matter. If you have health concerns, allergies, or children, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Our vacation was significantly impacted because of this experience.

Location is everything!

We loved staying at this property. The ocean view is amazing. We didn’t have any issues with the condo that we needed to contact the owner about during our week stay. We would stay here again!

The view is great, the place meet all of our needs. The place is dated, specifically the kitchen. It’s nothing fancy but for the price it was fine. The place could be cleaner but it was terrible.

Amazing views!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay in Alii Kai condo's. The condo was located in a great spot for us to do all our favorites...hiking, surfing and relaxing on the beaches! The unit was clean and had every amenity we could ask for.
