Ciao! Benvenuti a Shell Cottage nella bellissima Salvo sull'isola di Hatteras. Grazie per il vostro interesse. Siamo situati in una strada tranquilla a soli 390 metri dall'accesso alla spiaggia ea pochi minuti di auto da un parco di giorno di spiaggia sul lato sinistro. Bungalow tradizionale sulla spiaggia. Venite a godere di una vacanza rilassante e confortevole! Questo bungalow classico sulla spiaggia è pulito, fresco e confortevole. Grande fuga per una coppia o piccola famiglia, bordo del kite e surfisti. Avere una grande, rilassante tempo alla nostra bellissima spiaggia, mai affollata dalle sue sabbie dorate. Godetevi una grande giornata di pesca surf o prendere il sole e uscire di notte con le tue torce e andare a caccia di granchi fantasma. Le strade sono tranquille e sicure per camminare o andare in bicicletta per il parco a giorno. Allontanarsi dal trambusto della vita. Rilassatevi sulla terrazza di notte e guardate il cielo pieno di stelle, così vicino ti senti come potresti toccarli, o nel portico schermato, mentre godendo il tuo barbecue dalla griglia a carbone fornito. Nuotare, pescare, surf o kiteboard, windsurf, kayak o paddleboard sul lato sinistro. Il parco Salvo di giorno è perfetto per una famiglia con i piccoli dove l'acqua è bassa e calda. Sciacquare nella doccia esterna! Negozio generale a pochi passi. Molti posti per noleggiare biciclette, tavole, kayak, attrezzi da pesca, tutti in prossimità. Se state cercando un'avventura o semplicemente desiderate rilassarvi sulla spiaggia, lasciate da parte le vostre preoccupazioni e veniate a godervi una vacanza semplice, divertente e rilassante.

(Colony Dr. è una strada molto tranquilla sulla spiaggia, senza traffico se non per i residenti che vivono o trascorrono le vacanze nella colonia di Hatteras). Le frequenti visite dal camion dei gelati sono un vantaggio!

Everything we needed for a nice stay. Only complaint i have is the air conditioner wasn't working. Got very hot in house even with windows open. The owner did let us know it was out. We made it through it and made the most out of it. I would stay again cause we loved the quiet location.

A wonderful little cottage right by the beach! Check in is easy, the place was nice and clean, and there were little thoightful quirks that really made this place feel welcoming for us and our dog! There were beach chairs, extra dog bowls, even a doggy first aid kit in the bathroom! The ac unit broke down on us the first night but Traci was so kind and responsive. The late summer breeze kept the place just cool enough. Getting to the beach is super easy, its barely a block away. We went early in the day when it wasnt too busy. Expect the beach to pick up around 11am or so. But even so, there is soooo much beach, its easy to find a spot for you and your family. We loved the covered porch it was wonderful to sit out with our dog and enjoy the beach breeze. Overally great place to stay. I'd say best for a couple and their dog, or parents with 1-2 younger children and their dog.

Lovely little cottage that is clean and well cared for. If you don’t need all the beeps and whistles of the large houses, this is the place for you. It has a full size stove, refrigerator, and stacking washer-dryer. Easy to do our dishes by hand as there is no dishwasher . Many nice touches. The screened in porch is a great place to read or chat. Was especially nice when the breezes came through. The outdoor shower was great and has plenty of pressure. The owner is quick to respond to messages.

The place is very cute and charming and great for a small family, however there was a strong smell of mildew in the kitchen for the duration of our trip and the charcoal was not usable given that there was a lot of rust on the grill. Overall I would recommend the place except for people with lung conditions and I would recommend that you do not plan on using the charcoal. The place would greatly benefit from a BBQ.

Great week.

We had a great time. The place was as advertised, a little smaller than I originally imagined but it does look like the pictures. Everything was clean. The only issue I could anticipate would be having to sleep with the doors open. As the AC does not have an access vent in the bedrooms or bathroom. If any of the doors are closed it immediately starts to get stuffy. Luckily it was just me and my wife so we did not mind leaving doors open, as we didn't have guest. So leaving doors open while showering or sleeping was not an issue. I would not recommend this place to peole who would need to keep doors closed while sleeping. It is perfect for a couple or small family.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Loved everything about the beach house. I do wish checkout was a little later. Would move it back 30 min to an hr at least. 10 am is a little early when you would like to grab breakfast and pack up all your gear without feeling rushed, especially if you are a fisherman and have a lot of tackle, coolers and other things to pack before departure.Great overall expirience. Love the rates as well. I appreciate the opportunity to have a place to stay as a recreational fisherman with my family. This is something that has become very difficult as a sportsman in NC, finding an affordable place to stay and also close to access to fishing spots, another thing we have lost to commercialization on many NC beaches, many of these locations we used to fish have become gated communities that only the very wealthy can enjoy. Very convienient to all needs. Thank you to the owner for offering a nice place to stay and I hope I get the opportunity to return one day. That is as long as the rates dont increase too much over time. There is a lot of young couples and families that need an escape from the busy life several of us live that many cant take due to cost of living challenges but this was just right for our family. Again, a very big thank you to the owner for making our dreams come true . 5 STARS!

A quiet oasis

We loved our time at the cozy cabin in Salvo. The host was informative and friendly answering all our questions before hand. The place was just as it was pictured and close to the beach. It was the perfect getaway for my family on our Spring Break! We can’t wait to come back to the Outer Banks!

Everything was just as advertised. The property was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach. If we are in the area again, we will see if the property is available .

Great little cottage

Perfect place for a family with pets. It was very well furnished and has everything you might need while you’re there. Very clean and easy check in process. Looking forward to staying again!

Almost Wonderful

3* experience which could easily have been a 5* experience. Little things like sheets not being on the beds, no coffee or hand soap or washcloths provided, the A/C spewing black specks over the dining table all week, the TV remote not working and a screen door which requires you to either lock everyone in or out added up to diminish our vacation a fair amount. The cabin and its surroundings were fine. Short walk to the beach on the Atlantic side, although with the high wind we found we much preferred the Sound side of the island. We bought and left hand soap, washcloths, AAA batteries, coffee, and canisters for the coffee so hopefully future guests will have a better experience. It also got cold at night and there were no extra blankets - a couple not-really blankets were left in the closet. That would have been nice.

Great Location/Charming Beach Cottage

Overall we had a very pleasant experience. Super quick walk to the beach, great outdoor shower and porch to sip our morning coffee on. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had all the amenities needed for our stay. Loved the charcoal grill as well. AC unit worked very well and kept the home very comfortable during our week. Nice paths in the town to ride bikes or go for runs. Owner left a nice welcome bag with some toiletries as well as a nice information book for our stay. Hope to come back again in the future!

We had an amazing stay at the cozy cottage! Walk to the beach was simple and short! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, including the ocean. Traci was also easy to talk to and responds fast! We will be back!

Just right

Perfect place for a relaxing stay at the beach. Private, clean, close to the beach, and the perfect size for us as a couple. The location is wonderful, far from the crowds but close enough to stores, restaurants, and obx attractions. We loved it!

Always a nice time

I've been coming to Tracy's for 7 years now. Excellent getaway. The Waves Market and Boardwok South are within walking distance, and it's a great oppo to get away from the DC area. Very pet friendly, and a nice neighborhood.
