Great spot on such a beautiful and quiet lake. Loved the sauna and being able to read on either of the outdoor spaces. Perfect for kids. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked!

We enjoyed our stay. The lake is peaceful and we caught northern and walleye off the pontoon. Beautiful sunsets and great star gazing. Leaf colors in the area were also near peak. The sauna is a nice extra. The host is responsive; we have stayed here multiple years and have enjoyed them all.

What an incredible time on the lake. We may have to make this an annual event for the family. We had everything we needed to stay put after the initial grocery stop. The Loons were beautiful and we have so many great photos to capture trip. The sunsets were gorgeous too!

The cabin was clean and everything we needed was provided. We rented the pontoon and enjoyed cruising the lake. The deck and house set on the shore and we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. It was a very romantic and relaxing time. We are planning another stay

Wonderful lakefront getaway!We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with gorgeous views and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time together. The cabin was clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the host was friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat!

Loved the views, the charm of the cabin, fishing was great! Nothing beats the call of loons in the evening while sitting around a campfire. A nice distance from Duluth to see other attractions if desired.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. I miss my pair of loons and 3 crazy otters that ate fish and played just beyond the swim platform every day. We checked out the lake via the 2 kayaks, We made a a bonfire one night and saw a falling star. For a rainy day, we utilized the fireplace and read books. Just a short drive down a gravel road, we found the Superior Hiking Trail. Vibrant colors... great views. We spent 3 days traveling the North Shore Drive to see the beautiful fall colors. We were surprised by a wayside hike in Schroeder that took us to a lovely Waterfall. We also enjoyed exploring the Safe Harbor and Taconite mine. Lutsen was breathtaking. We ate smoked fish at a small municipal park in Tofte along Lake Superior. I enjoyed Iona"s pink beach.This was such a great destination that it was difficult to leave and explore Hwy 61.

Our third time staying here and we hope it won’t be our last! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. It’s perfect for a quiet weekend away. We love the availability of the pontoon and used it a ton during our stay. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, including a well stocked kitchen. Our only request is for more and better window treatments in the bedrooms to help the kids sleep in :)

Awesome stay!

Our family of four had a blast here. Easy drives to Duluth and Gooseberry Falls for adventure days and the property was clean and the perfect size for us. Top notch fishing and the pontoon was wonderful to have. Would definitely stay again!

This is such a cute and enjoyable place to stay! The house has all that you need. We enjoyed the fireplace one cold day. The porch is a great place to watch the clean, clear lake, and some of the storms that might roll in. The couches and chair are very comfortable and there is a big table for meals or game playing. The beds are very comfortable! The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. The property itself is well maintained, and fun to walk around, especially with our dog that is allowed to join us! The icing on the cake is the pontoon boat that is offered to guests! We spent many afternoons just floating on the lake, and cruising around it. I highly recommend staying here! My family is considering returning to this very relaxing environment. I think you'll love it! On the con side: it could use some TLC and a deep cleaning but don't let that stop you! You'll enjoy the loons on the lake too! And the lovely fire pit on the lower deck!

Great cabin

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin has everything you need for a great weekend away. Close to the snowmobile trails and easy trailer parking at the cabin.
