Good property but a little dated

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. The rooms were comfortable and the location was great. It was a little dated, however, as some of the kitchen appliances, pots/pans, etc. need to be replaced. Also, the water was turned off before we arrived and while we figured out how to turn it on we were not notified in advance that we needed to do so.

Great location but tired furnishings

Perfect location for skiing and lake activities (5 minutes to Wisp and right on the lake). Based on the photos, we were prepared for older furnishings, but many of the things looked even more worn in person (i.e., broken dining room chair, vertical blinds in master bedroom had broken slats that had clearly been tape repaired before), VCR tapes and old appliances. In addition, the front and back door knobs were very hard to operate which seems like a fire hazard. Kitchen items were a little sparse (i.e., not many dinner plates, and everything was mismatched...seems like someone went to a yard sale). Dishwasher was loud and the "icemaker" in the fridge is you. Overall, this house still worked well for us and met our expectations. I'm sharing many of these observations so people know what they are getting and plan accordingly. We really loved the location and neighborhood indoor pool....and the views and back deck (even though we were skiing, the weather was unusually warm, so we made good use of outdoor space). We would rent here again.

While the weather was completely beyond our control, we had a good time. Some things to consider replacing: Coffee maker - the one provided is museum worthy and while it worked fine, the stains likely added to the seasoning and taste. Fry pans - these we unusable. the non-stick fry pan had most of the "non-stick" material flaked off (yummy) and the uncoated fry pan had significant soot build up that required purchasing a scouring pad to properly clean.

Very Nice

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really enjoyed the stay. The only issue I had was the TV not working in the second bedroom up stairs.
