This property was just what we were looking for. It is in a quiet location but very easy to get where you want to go. The views were amazing. The kids had fun exploring. The puzzles and games were perfect. The hosts were very friendly. I highly recommend this property.

everything was lovely, the location was fabulous. The house was clean as a whistle, we had all the supplies we needed, and the location is fantastic for hiking and was really peaceful, quiet lovely and clean.

Great location and oceanfront view! We had a great time staying here and the hosts were responsive and helpful whether it was questions about the house or questions regarding local things to do. We would definitely stay again and we were pleased with our choice to stay here!

Will 100% be staying here again! The hosts are AMAZING with communication and recommendations. Ledgeview cottage itself exceeded expectations in cleanliness etc. The view is the BEST. Quiet secluded location with daily views of wildlife. Deer in driveway, seals and porpoises swimming in ocean easily viewable from deck without binoculars. I feared the bugs would be bad but they did not bother us. Jeff and Jenn have everything you need to cook in house and have blankets for covering up on the deck for those chilly early mornings watching the lobster boats. The fire pit on the deck is such a nice touch as well. Everything worked well and just could not be happier with this vacation. Highly recommend staying here!!

What a fabulous property! 10 stars out of 5. Fully & thoughtfully outfitted with everything u need and with things u need but forgot to bring. Beautiful location: view, yard, deck, access to ocean, so many windows!! Super clean. private road for morning walks, great parking for our 3 vehicles. One of the best rentals ever. Great communication with owners prior to arrival on things to do.We had the best time for r sibling reunion in this lovely home, putting us very close to places in Downeast Maine where we summered as children. We will definitely be back, can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Jeff & Jen for making your lovely home available to the rest of us. See u next year!

The view from this property was truly spectacular. And all the windows maximized the ability to see the ocean from almost everywhere.We were a little surprised by a burm of rocks. But it did not take away from any of the gorgeous views. We still climbed down the rocks and walked the coast at the lower tides. The house itself was comfortable, well kept and meticulously clean. And very thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked with all that we could need or want. The dirt road in was a bit long but totally worth it.I also have never dealt with hosts that were so kind, communicative and immediately responsive. Jen and Jeff were the best! We are frequent visitors to Maine and this was our best trip ever! I very highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the quieter part of Maine but still close enough to all the highlights. On a clear night we could see the Milky Way and more stars than I’ve seen in decades, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves is incredible.

Quiet and lovely

This property was quiet and made for secluded family nights in after long days spent out exploring, hiking and sightseeing. It was well appointed and we woke up to a tremendous view. We even got to watch lobster boats right from the house.

The home not only had an amazing view, but also was set up to supply everything you would need for a relaxing getaway. Plenty of kitchenware, towels, linens, games for a rainy day, whatever you may have needed and forgot to bring. So many other rentals require the first thing you do when you get there is turn around and go out shopping for missing essentials. Not here! You can just immediately get to enjoying your vacation. A true 11 out of 10 rental.If I had to give one critique, would be that the mattresses seemed worn out and in need of replacement (but that could just be a matter of personal opinion). In no way did it detract from the experience of this idyllic getaway.

Loved the area!

Great location to enjoy Acadia! The back deck is awesome. We enjoyed stargazing while listening to the ocean. And the sunrise glistening across the water was beautiful each morning.

House was clean and well appointed- views were amazing although we had a lot of fog but that’s to be expected. Checkin and checkout process was effortless. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Location and Accommodations

Great central location to head out and see both Schoodic and Bar Harbor Acadia National Parks. Can head in any direction for great scenic day trips as well. Accommodations and amenities were perfect for our group of six. We will definitely be back. Thank You Jeff and Jen.

Great spot! What an easy place to wake up and then unwind. I loved drinking my coffee on the front deck. Owners communicated great. Nothing but a positive experience.
