This was the perfect place for a quick family vacation. With North Pole, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs near by was ideal for our family to enjoy the area.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with this location. It is absolutely beautiful. The place is a duplex with the owner living above. The units are completely separate.The lodging was very clean. They do a wonderful job keeping things tidy. There were many small amenities available as well, from board games to useful tools.The location is great. Just a few minutes from the entrance to Pike's Peak highway and there are local restaurants and bars that are great fun. Garden of the Gods is also quite close by. You won't have any trouble finding things to do!Mike, the owner, was very hospitable and gave us lots of privacy. He only stuck around to talk when we reciprocated the conversation. We enjoyed his company during the trip.We hope that we'll be able to return in the future. This was a fantastic location!

Thanks Zack for the positive feedback,I really appreciate it..over all the years doing the rental I have to say it makes me feel that warm spot in my heart that I have gave a recommendation or showed a secret trail or maybe taught the kids how to gold panning works.There is so much more but I often have heard from my guests that they’re stay here was the best ever. And will never be forgotten. All I can say or do is give a big thanks to all that come before.and the folks that are yet to come. M.

Mike and Berniece are wonderful hosts. Gave us recommendations for trails to hike and restaurants in the area. The house was very convenient to the places we planned to go. The place was very well stocked especially the kitchen. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Home away from home

Enjoyed staying here. Home away from home feeling. Like that everywhere we went it was centrally located. Michael and his wife were extremely friendly. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Peaceful mountain lodging

Two night stay, well-located for exploring Pikes Peak and the surrounding area. Two bedrooms and a "bonus room" with twin trundle off the living room offered plenty of space for our party of four. Full kitchen and dining room would be very useful for longer stays.

Comfortable, Clean, & Spacious

Very close to many activities, such as Pikes Peak Cod Railway, Garden of the Gods, and North Pole Santa’s Workshop. Lots of clean and comfortable space for our family of 4 and Mike and Bernice were very kind hosts.

Nice Friendly place to stay

The property is just perfectly situated out of the city, near attractions and in the wilderness. Just perfect. The owners are friendly and helpful. I recommend to anyone visiting the area and does not want to be in the city.

We wanted relaxing week in the mountains, Mike and Bernice delivered!! Cozy cabin, very clean, gorgeous views. We will be back.

Outdoors Adventure

My sons are older and really enjoyed this house, Mike was wonderful at giving ideas for us to do around town. He even called to check on us when we were out and a bad storm was moving in! We had a wonderful stay!

Awesome place

We stayed with Bernice and Mike last week of June. We had an awesome time. The rental was very clean. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hosts are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Loved the enchanting forest!
