The beach house was in an excellent location on the water with magnificent view. The house was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. It was peaceful, private backyard with a cabana patio. We had a great time and we want to come back next year. Jennifer was a great host. Any questions she was there to respond quickly. In addition, the sunset was beautiful.

We have added air conditioning to a couple areas of the cottage over the past few years to make our guests more comfortable. Because it's a traditional summer cottage, however, there are some limitations to fully adapting the home with central air. I'm sorry there was some confusion regarding the listing details. The listing accurately notes that the cottage has one indoor bathroom and a heated outdoor shower, which many guests enjoy during the warmer months. To make check-in as convenient as possible, we use a front door keypad instead of physical keys. Detailed instructions for accessing and operating the keypad are provided through the app prior to your arrival. Thank you again for your feedback. We truly appreciate it and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway - the house and backyard were absolutely perfect. We loved that there was a farm in walking distance (the donuts are delicious)

We spent 3 nights at this property and were not impressed. The location was nice with a view of the pond. Access to the pond with a kayak would have been tricky. Nice backyard but tough sitting out there with all the flies wasn’t fun. The flies were coming from the dumpster in the front yard. Really bad. You couldn’t eat outside because of the flies. Communication with the rental manager was very prompt. Location was close to beaches. The outdoor shower has very little water pressure. Disappointing because what’s better than an outdoor shower at the beach? This was the first Vrbo rental I’ve been at that required us to bring our own garbage bags and dish soap. The kitchen was adequately furnished but could use a blender and a baking/roasting pan. For the price, we were not impressed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the pond view, backyard, convenient location near the beaches, and our prompt communication. We did want to clarify a few points for future guests. The property does have a kayak cart available to make it easier to transport the kayaks to the water’s edge . The kitchen also has both a blender and baking pans available. Dish soap and garbage bags were provided as well and were located under the kitchen sink. We advise in rules to bring more for long stays or large groups. Also, our dumpster is emptied on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, guests sometimes dispose of large amounts of fish & shellfish from their stays and this played a factor along with the time of year. We understand that this was unpleasant and will continue to look for ways to minimize the issue. We appreciate the feedback and hope these clarifications are helpful to future guests.

Just got back from a great Sister’s weekend! The place was exactly as pictured. Bed’s were comfortable and the view was wonderful! The whole experience was exactly as I had hoped.

We vacationed here for 20 yrs. before our dream came true of owning a place directly on the Quonnie Pond. We called it our giant aquarium when our daughter was young. We love boating, swimming,clam bakes, beach combing, fishing & playing on/in the water. The scenic sunsets, moonlight & wide open sky are picturesque not to mention the ever changing water views are unsurpassed! This area boasts unique pristine & private beaches,water activities,events,shopping,tall ships, Fairs art & Agricultural. Lots of fun & variety. It's a great vacation spot in paradise!We just love it here!We encourage you to experience it too!

Location, Location, Location! There isn't a better place to vacation than Quonnie Salt Pond! The water views & sunsets are gorgeous here. Lots to do, minutes to everything, a giant aquarium playground.

This is a Fantastic boating & watersports area. Access to many beaches, fishing, clamming, Block Island (20 mins) many other places by your own boat. The best variety of pristine sandy beaches & conservation wildlife areas anywhere!!

Go for leisurely walks; read a book surrounded by serenity & beauty and breathe in the fresh salt air. It's a jewel of area! Don't forget to bring your camera, plenty of suntan lotion & beach gear!

Many events throughout the summer, close to Seafood festival and Rhythm and Roots, Kayaking, Birdwatching area. Ospreys have nest within view. They return every year faithfully. Herons, sandpipers and many other species. Fishing and clam right off the back yard or launch your small boat.

Spice Your Life up with fun & excitement! Hop on the Ferries to Block Is, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket or Cape Cod or tour the harbors! Visit Newport, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos (15 min) w/outlet malls, Pequot Indian museum, the Hard Rock Cafe at Mohegan Sun.

Treasure hunt at the beach, take a boat trip, shop, sail, swim, golf or hike. Enjoy playing & kayaking on a huge saltpond! Visit Scenic Block Island, Watch Hill, Wickford, Beavertail Lighthouse, Jamestown, Mystic Seaport Village & Aquarium, Nature Center & Zoo!! Go antiquing, shopping, sightseeing, harbor cruises, to the theater. There are many hiking/biking trails & conservation areas.
