Wonderful lake house- fully provisioned kitchen, clean as can be, comfy beds, hundreds of books, many games, fireplace and firewood. 20 min from Mt Monadnock! Owner provided great communication, detailed instructions for checking in and out and how to use everything! Could not ask for a better accommodation.

The property was absolutely lovely! We had a wonderful time and hope to come back again. There were enough life vests for all of us so we could all get to try kayaking and paddle boarding. Fire pit, screened in porch, etc was amazing. Whole house was very clean, Alfred was very responsive and kind

Absolutely beautiful. We were visiting for a wedding - I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the property. The beds were comfortable and all spaces were clean - it felt like visiting family. We had a great time. The stairs leading to the two upstairs bedrooms are fairly steep. Which was fine for our group but they may be tough for some to navigate. The main level bedroom is easily accessible and very spacious. I hope we make it back to the area to stay here again.

Beautiful location and well-stocked with kitchen wares, spices, etc.. As you can tell from the description there are a lot of steps down to the lake and there are plenty of places to enjoy nature even without the steps! Unfortunately the description of the facilities FAILED to note the VERY STEEP nature of the stairs to the second level. The stairs are somewhere between normal stairs and a ladder with no "kick-plate" and the treads overlapping each other. We had three couples staying together at this house with ages ranged from 60's to 80's. Two members of the group (one blind 65 year old and one 80 year old) which were part of two different couples could not navigate these stairs comfortably. Therefore one couple did not get a bedroom. We moved two of the bunk mattresses to the lower level and one couple graciously accepted sleeping on the mattresses in a side room next to the living room and therefore had no privacy as anticipated.Otherwise an attractive house in a beautiful location.

We have rented our house for 10 years and this is a first. Had you told us that you had a party with mobility issues, we could have addressed it in advance. And when you did call, I was immediately on the phone with you (at 6 am West Coast time) to try to address it, including calling Vrbo support and other local rentals. I am sorry that your lack of planning impacted your stay. I am also sorry that you don't have the grace to acknowledge when someone tried to help you. My advice - you should have someone else do your travel planning for you.

What a Great vacation spot and a fantastic host. Alfred was very accommodating to us and made our stay awesome. The lake was beautiful and we caught several fish and enjoyed kayaking. The fire pit was wonderful for the family at night after the long day on the lake. Thank you again Alfred for making our stay truly a memory for a life time.

Beautiful cabin with great views of the lake! The baseboard heat didnt work when we arrived but the woodstove worked perfectly and Alfred was very responsive in getting the baseboard fixed quickly

Another Excellent Vacation

Love this home - we always have a fantastic time and this year we had another couple join us for a couple of days and they fell in love with it as well. Our go to for NH Vacations!

Log Cabin Getaway

The cabin was perfect for my friends and I to get away from the city for a few nights. Super cozy and the dock was great. We had a lot of fun paddling around the lake!

Wonderful Weekend

My friends and I stayed for the weekend and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean, the house was large and spacious, and the lake was serene. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Family getaway

We were in the area for a family wedding. The cabin, location, lake activities, restaurant and hiking suggestions were wonderful as well as the communication with the host. I wish we had been able to stay longer and hope we can return soon!

Beautiful and scenic location!

Absolutely loved this property! A true log cabin with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay-great open flow layout to living areas and outdoors! Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thank you Alfred & Hillary helping to make a memorable time for all!

Property was perfect for a guys get away fishing trip. Alfred was very attentive and helpful. I've stayed at many Vrbo house but this is one of my favorites. Hope to stay here again soon Steve
