It was a pleasure hosting you. I’m surprised to see your description on the mosquitoes. I don’t know if you were hiking deep in the woods after a heavy rain? Mosquitoes are not a daily occurrence at our place and typically after a heavy rain just Active right before dusk. We enjoy many outdoor activities regularly on our property, like sitting around the bonfire, swinging in a hammock, sitting out on a chair, looking at the woods and the deer turkey that come through regularly. But yes, Bug Spray is helpful if there is an issue and we are happy to provide that upon request. Thank you again for staying and hope to see you again!

It sounds like you had a great weekend, and we’d love to have you back for that kayak trip next time! We also appreciate you mentioning the road. The majority of the time, our road is easily drivable with regular two-wheel-drive vehicles. After a particularly heavy storm, though, our rural dirt roads can temporarily become a little more “adventurous” until things dry out and settle back down. 😊 Thank you again for staying with us and for highly recommending the cabin. There is a boardwalk that leads to the river, and we have several signs pointing the way — but we realize it may not have been as clear as it should be.
