A balcony is not mentioned in the description nor is one shown in any photographs of the unit. You are correct, the pool is nowhere near the beach, as the marketing photos clearly show in the listing. We hope you enjoyed exploring local attractions and had a safe trip home.

We did some checking and couldn't find where you contacted us regarding any issues. We wish we could of came out to correct these issues for you during your stay. As you are aware, it was unseasonably cold during your stay which caused a lot of plumbing problems in our area. We feel like the property management did the best they could, providing guests with a notice that the water would be turned off, and allowing tenants time to fill their tubs so they could have water during repairs. You did receive a discount. The nightly rates were lowered to reflect the inconvenience of ongoing construction. We hope you enjoyed some time exploring local attractions and had a safe trip home. We would like to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced here. We did some checking and we found that a technician found that the door seal to the dishwasher was out of place and fixed it. He also noted there were no leaks to the refrigerator as there was just ice that had melted. He also poured bleach down the disposal drain to get rid of the smell. Lakelvin, We are sincerely sorry that your vacation is not what you expected. We have reviewed the photos on the listing and could not find anything misleading. It is clear from the photos that while it does have an ocean view, it is not on the beach and does not have a balcony. There are no doors in the photos indicating one could access a balcony of any kind. The listing also very clearly states, "We welcome you to Shoreline Towers, please note Towers 1, 2, 3 are currently undergoing restoration work through Winter 2023." We will pass along your suggestion of blackout curtains to the owner for their consideration. Our policy regarding the Air conditioner is to ensure the unit works continuously. Set to temperatures below 70 when it is 100 outside tend to cause the unit to freeze up. When that happens, the unit has to be turned off and thawed which means no cooling at all for at least 24 hours. If you had let us know you were hot, we would have gladly brought you a fan or two. You should have gotten an email prior to your arrival letting you know that we provide starter packs of bathroom and kitchen essentials and that you should plan to bring these items with you or purchase them when you arrive. This is for safety reasons. We hope that you enjoyed some time on our beautiful beaches and had a safe trip home.
