Il Sounderosa Cottage si trova a 200 piedi dall'oceano sulla sponda occidentale di Somes Sound nella Hall Quarry.

Il cottage offre tutti i comfort di casa, tra cui: elettrodomestici full size, lavatrice / asciugatrice, tutte le lenzuola, camino in granito, grande ponte, TV satellitare a schermo piatto, WiFi, parcheggio privato con vista mozzafiato su Somes Sound e Sargent Mountain.

Il nostro cottage è dotato di un bacino di acque profonde perfetto per la pesca o la conservazione della barca. Goditi l'alba e l'atmosfera tranquilla dell'isola dal tuo mazzo e ascolta i tramonti al tramonto. Un attracco in acque profonde è gratuito se si sta portando / noleggiando una barca.

Il nostro cottage è ben tenuto e mantenuto ai più alti standard di pulizia e qualità. Forniamo tutta la legna da ardere di cui hai bisogno, sapone, detersivo, asciugamani di carta, rimozione della spazzatura e persino un grande bollitore per cucinare le tue fresche aragoste del Maine che abbiamo a disposizione nel nostro molo. Goditi i raffinati ristoranti locali e trascorri la giornata a Bar Harbor, a soli 10 minuti in auto. Goditi i dintorni tranquilli ricchi di fauna selvatica e viste meravigliose.

This place has it all!!

We have stayed at a lot of rental properties and this was by far our favorite experience. Paul and Ashlee are the best hosts! We didn’t realize we had to print the park pass and Paul had it printed and delivered to us within 10 minutes. The property is beautiful and centrally located to anything on the island! We fished off the dock everyday. We saw seals, dolphins, jellyfish and caught some mackerel. Cooking fresh lobster from the dock for dinner was a great experience- and delicious! The house was spotless as well. The views and sunrise from the deck cannot be beat. It’s so quiet and peaceful. You have neighbors, but cannot see them or hear them. We loved it all and cannot say enough good things about our stay!!!

Authentic cottage on the Somes sound

We had an enjoyable stay in”Sounderosa” one of several authentic cottages overlooking the Somes sound in Hall Quarry. Our place was an original cottage built in the 1960’s with furnishings and dishware that fits that era but with modern appliances, updated bathrooms and heat/AC unit. Impeccably clean. Paul, the grandson of the family now runs the daily operations. He could not have been more accommodating, helpful and kind. It was a pleasure to see him doing work around the grounds, and wave hi as we passed. Easy access to Acadia and the area but off the beaten path, nice and quiet. We are hoping to bring our entire family for a vacation in the future and rent a couple of the cottages. Highly recommended.

Cool getaway with grandkids

We take our grandkids (6 & 9) on a trip each summer. We all had a great stay at Sounderosa. The location was perfect and the cabin suited everyone just fine. The kids loved spending time on the front porch looking at boats. Close to hikes, swimming, exploring and great food.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation. Our hosts were amazing and easily reachable. Acadia, hiking trails, beaches, and amazing restaurants were all close by, just a few minute drive. The cottage it’s self was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with all of the cooking utensils we needed. Super clean and comfortable. The best part was the back deck that showed amazing views of the sound. We usually don’t repeat our family vacation spots, but we’re already planning on coming back next year.

They built their reputable vacation rental business on one of the most beautiful spots on Mount Desert Island. My wife and I (Paul & Ashlee Grindle) have been involved with many aspects of Chambers Cottages for several years, helping out behind the scenes, and learning the business. In 2012 we purchased Chambers Cottages, and we are very excited as we enter the 2022 season. As natives to the area, Ashlee & I take pride in the service and hospitality we provide.
