Situata in una tranquilla area boschiva a soli 5 minuti dal Parco Nazionale Acadia ea 10 minuti dal centro di Bar Harbor, la cabina dispone di una zona giorno a pianta aperta con soffitto a cattedrale, una cucina completamente attrezzata e due camere da letto ciascuna con letto. Inizia la giornata con un caffè sul ponte avvolgente e rilassati la sera arrostendo i marshmallow intorno alla buca per il fuoco del cortile. Convenient location

The small cabin was perfect for my husband & me. It had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. We were mainly there to visit Acadia National Park & the location was so convenient for that. We went into Bar Harbor each evening & that also was close by.

Acadia Visit

This cabin is in a great location, a quiet wooded setting. The location is close to town and to Acadia Park access but is also in a secluded spot with little traffic. The building is cozy, not ostentatious, really comfortable as a home base for our wandering. Hoping to stay here again. Thank You!

Great Spot To Stay If You Want to Travel Around MDI!

Very impressed with this property, the location was absolutely incredible (only a 10 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor, and about 5 minutes to major landmarks in Acadia National Park). The amenities were very nice for a cabin, and the wifi was surprisingly quick. Solid price as well, especially compared to some of the motel and inns surrounding the Bar Harbor area.

Perfect Family Time

Mt. Vista gave us everything we were looking for: cozy cabin, remote location, easily accessible to the park and Bar Harbor, a change to disconnect to reconnect as a family. We hope to stay again soon.

Mt. Vista

The cabin had all of the basics we needed for our stay. We loved the location as it was very close to Acadia entrance and to downtown Bar Harbor. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future!

Perfect for the park!

Stone heaven was perfect for our visit to Acadia! We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but still close to the park. Would definitely recommend it, especially this time of year.

Stone Haven Cabin

Stone Haven Cabin is a simple cabin but with all of the amenities that you need on a vacation. The cabin is in a nice quite wooded cabin community. The location was great for our exploring Acadia since it was equal distance between Bar Harbor & North East Harbor. We would stay there again.

Overall the property was in good shape

Overall the property was good. Wish list Need new toilet seat keeps coming off. Window in kitchen could be fixed. Just a suggestion We have stayed at Stone Haven several times and love the location and we plan on coming back.

Quaint Cabin - Perfect location!

My fiance and I and our pup Ziggy just returned from a week in Acadia (wishing we were still there!) and stayed in the Mountain Vista cabin. What makes this cabin so perfect is the location - quick drive to everything on both sides of the island. Our favorite spot was definitely the wrap around deck - homemade breakfast in the morning - sipping coffee and listening to nature - doesn't get much better. The cabin could use a few updates - but overall we were very happy with our stay. It's an adorable cabin in the woods on a very quiet and beautiful street. Only wish we could stay longer.

Perfect cabin for Acadia vacation

My husband and I loved our stay here. It was a perfect location - close to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and carriage roads, but remote enough to be perfectly silent at night. A great escape from the other tourists. Would absolutely stay here again! The cabin is well-stocked with basics (dish soap, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, etc), and roomier than I expected. Really nice little fire pit out back, and a great view of the stars above on clear nights. Loved all the windows too! We found it was a little chillier at the cabin than in Bar Harbor or Acadia, but the little wall heaters kept us very comfortable. One note for others - the coffee maker is a Keurig, and requires k-cups. (Not sure if I missed that in the info?) Thanks for sharing this beautiful mountain retreat with us!

Great location

It was in great location. Noce size and firepit. We were aware that it was pet friendly, but there was dog hair everywhere, especially the couch and the house smelled bad, like dogs. The main bed comforter was dirty. Tiles, flooring in the place are cracked, you feel like you are going to fall through by fireplace. Some deep cleaning and some repairs, paint to the place could really spruce it up. Nice location and close to everything.

Cozy cabin in the middle of the island

I was so happy i stumbled across the listing for this cabin a few weeks before my trip. Much larger than the hotel room i had reserved and a tiny bit cheaper. This is located about 4 miles from downtown bar harbor, about 1.5 miles from eagle lake carriage road parking and 2.5 miles from the main park loop road entrance. Great, great location.. Cabin is in great shape. It's a1 br with another room with a futon. Full kitchen with table and a small living room with tv. The bathroom is a little cramped with a round bowl toilet and a stand up shower. It was a little tight for a bigger guy like myself but still easily usable. There is a nice outdoor fire pit right outside the cabin as well, although i didn't get a chance to use it. The cabin is pretty secluded with only a couple of cabins close by. It's easy to get to and had plenty of property to walk my dog all around it. I am very happy i stayed here and will look for it in future bar harbor vacations.

Great location

Very convenient location. Very quaint. Good kitchen--small, but well-supplied. Full refrigerator and stove/oven plus microwave. I am glad that the weather was good while we were there as quarters are very tight. This may not be the best place for those with allergies--there was dog hair everywhere. The place had not been vacuumed or mopped prior to our arrival. Caretaker assured us that sheets had been changed and that there had been no cats. She offered to send person the next day to vaccum floors and couch, but that would have not really helped. My son and I loaded up on allergy meds and it was ok. I do not know that there is any air conditioning--but did not try. Luckily, we did not need heat or AC during stay. It was very damp, but I was hesitant to turn on heaters--seems pretty basic, but everything was fine based on the fact we were there in May.

Great place to stay for your trip to the National Park. Centrally located to get to all the places you want to see while visiting Acadia. Great cabin with all the must haves for your visit.

The 5 “C”s

We loved the cabin. It was: Comfortable Cute Conveniently Located Cozy Clean Only a few minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor where we spent most of our time. It was located off a private road tucked a bit in the woods. There is a table and chairs outside. Also a fireplace in and out of you choose to use Them. All instructions were located in one place and easy to find and understand We truly enjoyed our visit

Wonderful Getaway

Acadia NP so close

Nice quiet location close to Acadia entrance. Perfect to get up Cadillac Mountain for sunrise. Close to Eagle Lake carriage trail to hike to Jordan Pond house for a popover before climbing up the bubbles. Will stay here again.

Great little place

My husband, our Aussie and I stayed here for a week very close to everything especially hiking trails and town. Very quiet stuck in the woods a little would recommend for anyone that wants to visit Maine I would stay here. Easy access to everything that you need. Elisa was great to work with and very easy to get into the rental would definitely stay here again, Thank you so much, Jennie and Phil

Good dog friendly cabin

This cabin is in a great location to explore Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. Having a dog-friendly place was a requirement for us. It's on a quiet street and the outdoor firepit was cozy. The cabin is small (we were a-ok with 2 adults and our dog). The cabin would benefit from a few small updates, like a new mattress and some tile work.

Cute spot!

This is a cute spot right on MDI which makes it SO easy to get to all of the trails and into Bar Harbor in 10m. Everything worked well, just wish it was a little more outfitted with pantry basics - but nothing a trip to the grocery store didn't fix. Mattress isn't in great condition so it didn't work well for my sensitive husband, but fine for me. The porch and fire pit are fantastic. Great communications with owner. Overall, a great stay!
