Shoot, I'm sorry about the pool and the TP! I recommend future travelers check with me about pool availability if it is important, as there have been some unexpected repairs this past year. I've had a discussion with prep crew about the TP, and have their commitment this will be resolved.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the confusion on the layout of the unit. It is an open floor plan and the property summary has been updated to reflect that. I assure you we have the property professionally cleaned between every guest and they use professional grade cleaning products to kill bacteria and viruses. We do steam clean the carpet and make cleanliness a top priority for all our guests.

Dear Mr. S, You have full right to express your opinion on this site and give a one star review. All of the owners of the Carriage House condominiums, myself included, take the issue of smoking on premise very seriously. I will respond with facts and leave it at that: -The cleaning crew that was there the day you arrived reported no smoke smell. -The cleaning crew after you and the crew after the next guest reported no smoke smell (and I explicitly instructed them to check for it). -The two guests after you reported no smoke smell. In fact the guest immediately after you gave our unit a 5 star review. -You state “somebody else in the building was also smoking” … “I never smelled cigarette smoke in the hallways” … “I think it came through the patio door and window” … “I think it might’ve been the people in the unit right down below”. -When you first confirmed your suspicion of smoke smell, I very quickly gave you a list of options to remedy the smell which you rejected. -When you told me on your last night of stay about your suspicion of it being the people in the unit below, I immediately contacted the HOA to notify the owner of that unit. -Your claim of smoke smell has not been corroborated by anyone. While I do take the issue of smoking in the unit very seriously, I have found no evidence that the problem existed before or after your stay. As stated above, the HOA was notified as was the owner of the unit below mine, and I know that we all take the issue very seriously in our building (The HOA responded very quickly to my report). I am left to believe that this claim was for a short-term issue that started upon your arrival and was resolved upon your departure, possibly coinciding with the timing of guests in the unit below. I am 100% confident that there is no residual smoke odor in the room and that the unit fully complies with being a non-smoking unit. Final fact: I will not discuss financial matters in a public forum.

We are very lucky to have a covered parking lot just steps away from our building, it is a pretty unique perk to have in the Prospector Square neighborhood. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again sometime!

I'm very glad you felt comfortable enough to stay at our property during this pandemic. We do take cleanliness seriously. We left extra cleaning wipes for you, sprayed a sanitizer throughout the unit 2 days before your arrival, and blocked off the day prior to your arrival to ensure it was vacant for 24 hours. We hope to host you again sometime!
