Chris the owner is fantastic to communicate with. We stay here every year and love it. The house is awesome and accommodates our group of six golfers easily. Great place.

Perfect place

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, spacious house. Especially on the porch in front of the house it was enjoying the beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains.

Great Family Getaway!

We had a great stay! The house was well appointed with everything that we needed (and a few extras that we hadn’t thought of). They even had pet bowls available for use! The house was located in a nice family neighbourhood that was close to everything. Chris & his wife were quick to respond and let us know what was happening. They were great! The next time we visit Invermere we will definitely want to stay here. My older son is even wanting to rent here the next time time they come to Invermere.

Would not rebook

The home looked more or less as it did in the photos. Positives - roomy, 2.5 baths, nice ensuite soaker tub, could park in the garage. Negatives - the smell of wet cat food permeates the house, even with windows open. The bbq grill was rusted through and the metal was flaking. Out back, there was a grasshopper infestation - at one point there were so many they covered entire cinder bricks. Out front there were wasps. There were also barn swallows nested in the main floor bathroom vent. They would swoop at you if you were out front near the front door. Some better (i.e. not cheap dirty white plastic) furniture on the deck would be nice.

It is too bad that you have not enjoyed your stay at our home in Invermere. I haven’t had any complaints like yours before from any of our visitors! Although, our house is dog friendly, we have never had any cats on the premises AT ALL, as I am allergic to cats. Some of our guests do bring their dogs but there were no dogs there for two months prior to your arrival. I checked. I’m sorry my outdoor furniture is not up to your standards. Unfortunately, we cannot control the grasshopper population outside and as for your wasp accusations, we checked the whole premises and did not find any nests. Now let’s talk about you and your behavior at the check in, when you called yelling and screaming when you could not follow instructions to open the door. This was appalling. You would not listen to me or follow instructions and chose to cause a scene instead. Your behavior cost me extra money to send somebody to open the main door for you when there was nothing wrong with the lock. Now you’re also giving me a bad review on VRBO website. I wasn’t going to say anything about the extra costs or your rude attitude to VRBO but since you decided to also give me a bad review, other home owners should be warned about you. Your attitude towards the person who came to show you how to open the main door was unacceptable. She informed me that you were rude and disrespectful. I have never had any problems like that with any of our guests and will make sure to never have you stay at our house again.
