Svegliati al suono del surf dalla nostra spaziosa camera coloniale del New England 8 con splendide viste sull'oceano, situato di fronte alle spiagge di Jenness Beach. La nostra casa è stata rinnovata con una bordatura bianca e una cucina inossidabile, pavimenti in legno lucido e una nuova lavatrice e asciugatrice ad alta energia. Il piano inferiore ha una grande cucina abitabile, solarium, soggiorno ristrutturato nel 2018 con nuovi mobili soggiorno Rowe, sala da pranzo con armadio costruito in Cina, nuovo bagno completo di granito / piastrelle, zona lavanderia e due ampi armadi. Quattro camere da letto (due delle quali si aprono su un grande ponte al secondo piano con vista sull'oceano) possono ospitare dieci persone. Camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale; Seconda camera da letto ha un letto full size, terza camera ha due letti singoli; Quarta camera ha due letti a castello. Al piano superiore è inoltre disponibile un nuovo bagno completo in granito / piastrelle con doppi lavandini. Questa casa speciale ha un nuovo sistema di aria centrale, due box auto o utilizza come unità di stoccaggio e risparmiare denaro, parcheggio per sei auto e un meraviglioso cortile privato. Attraversa la strada per la tua giornata di divertimento in spiaggia (sedie a sdraio e asciugamani forniti)! Non fumare / No animale domestico. Slice of Heaven

What a wonderful seaside property in the best kept secret around, which is Rye. Quiet, quaint and relaxing! Jon takes wonderful pride and care of this home and you can tell. Everything felt clean, renovated and 100% nicer than the photos. He allowed us to park in the garage while the cleaning team was still there as we arrived at 12pm on a Saturday during peak season, where no parking was available. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and at ease. The kitchen was well appointed, needs a strainer! but that's a small complaint. Plush beach towels, chairs, beach cart, nice washer and dryer, many beds, etc. Small and tiny things to consider, we needed fans so went to Walmart, 15 min away to buy them. You must bring your trash to the dump before you vacate, so you need to plan and consider this in your cars. The entire area is a dead zone, beach included if you're on Verizon. This was a bit of a pain point, so maybe map some of the area until you get on there house and on the wifi. I couldn't make calls all week unless I was on the wifi and facetime audio with people. which was tough, but also amazing to detach. An ottoman in the living room would be the icing on the cake for full relax in this home! as the couches were very comfy and inviting. Small coffee shops and tons of great seafood in the area. Closest grocery store is about 10-15 away so plan accordingly! Overall, amazing stay and will 100% return.

Great way to spend a week!

The house is perfectly situated - just a minute or two walk to a public access path. It was immaculate and had anything you might need such as chairs, towels, boogie boards.

Short walk to the water

This place was huge! We stayed in September so it was a lot quieter than peak summer months, which was nice because the master is right on the road and can get noisy with traffic. There were plenty of beds and space, nice comfy couches. The floors when we arrived were still sandy so we did a lot of sweeping ourselves, but it seemed like everything else was sanitized! The washer dryer was nice, but the coffee making was finicky. I'm not sure I'd stay during peak summer months due to noisy traffic and the price. Other than that, the place was spacious and convenient.

Excellent beach vacation

My family enjoyed the house. It was large enough to spread out. The 2 full baths were updated and clean. Bedrooms were a good size and the mattresses were very comfortable. The house was nicely furnished. Great location to the beach access path. We enjoyed the deck and yard and having an outdoor shower was convenient.

family beach getaway

rented this wonderful house for a small family beach vacation. i am normally in rye in august and was surprised to find a house this great available for the week of july 4th. it was perfect for our group of six adults. the house is well laid out and had three(!) tables that would easily seat six. it was great for combined meals and board games. you can see the ocean from several spots in the house, including the deck. it is an easy walk to the (paved!) beach access path. the house had a beach buggy, umbrellas, chairs, and boogie boards. we were on the beach and in the water every day. close enough for bathroom/lunch breaks. full bath upstairs and downstairs, and we used both at the same time to get everyone showered after the beach and still had good pressure and hot water the whole time. the washer dryer was great as well. jon was very easy to deal with, and a very nice landlord. met us at the property early and was thorough in showing me how everything worked. it was an amazing find! we had a great time and would highly recommend.

Family beach vacation

WOW...one word says it all!!

I have been coming to the seacoast for a very long time and I have stayed at very nice locations and not so nice. This place wins hands down. It is clean and very well maintained. You do not need to bring anything (other than personal) stuff with you, it has everything you could possibly need.The sand is just a short walk away, so bring one of the available chairs and your book and you are off to a great day. The property is perfect for two people or 10 people. It has restaurants near by or you can cook and eat a a great meal on the deck. I would highly recommend this property to all my friends. The owners are great to work with and highly professional. The photos in the description of the home are true. Hope to come back next year. Thanks Jon and Jean!!

Only one word would disscribe "WOW"

I have been coming to the seacoast for a long time and I must say that this place has been the best.Everything that you could possibly need is there. The location is perfect.It was clean and very well maintained.The owners were great to work with. I would highly recommend this property for friends and family. Hope to be back again next year. The pictures are true. All you need to bring is yourself and your food and your want for that ocean air and that makes a great vacation!!

A Gem of a House!!!

We've stayed in the house two years in a row and just love it! Aside from being steps from our favorite beach the roof deck has amazing views, the kitchen is top notch, and I could probably live in the outdoor shower. ;o) Jean and Jon are great to work with and are organized, friendly, and timely in how they conduct their business. Perfect for a Family Vacation

This is one of the best houses we have rented in Rye Beach. It was in perfect condition and well equiped by the owners. Just a short walk to Jenness Beach, our favorite beach on the Seacoast. Close to lots of children's activities (aside from the beach) -- Portsmouth Children's Museum, York Wild Animal Kingdom and Kittery outlets!! Something for everyone. The owners provided a notebook of local information which was very helpful. The week went all too quickly!

Perfect for our 30th Wedding Vow Renewal

We needed a place to hold our 30th wedding vow renewal celebration. This house was the perfect size to accommate the 4 adult couples and 1 baby in our family for the week. It was also perfectly comfortable for the 40 people we hosted for a buffet dinner after our ceremony on the beach one evening. The 4 large rooms on the first floor were perfectly suited to the occassion. The location was great! Rye beach is more serene than the other NH beaches and it was only a short 5 min walk to the beach from the house. The bedrooms easily fit our 8 adults and there was room for more if we needed it. The house was very clean, nicely decorated with a beach theme and the appliances were all high end. The house included more linnens and towels than we could have used, which was very convenient. The outdoor shower stall with hot water was a hit with the family and friends that visited us for a day at the beach and it kept the house bathrooms more available. The only issue was that the upstairs bath drained a little slowly. More of a minor annoyance than a real issue. But I feel compelled to give a full review, including all negatives, and that was the only negative I could think of. Although the cost was more than we wanted to pay, it was definitely worth the extra money. We have rented other beach houses in Rye, Seabrook and Hampton, but this one was by far the best! The house made for a perfect beach vacation and renewal celebration!

June at Jenness Beach House

Jon and Jean, We had a wonderful time at your beach home. We stayed for a week with our teenage boys and we all enjoyed the outdoor shower, beach views from the upper deck, use of the boogey boards, grill...there are too many ammenities to mention! Our visit seemed to fly by quickly. The beach was easy to access and we took morning and evening walks. The boys and their friends couldn't wait to ride the waves! Thank you for sharing your home -even the weather was great. We hope to return in the future.

Great Vacation, Great Beach!!

My son, daughter-in-law, grandson, and I thought the Beach House was a wonderful place for us to stay for our 2-week vacation. We really appreciated the updated stainless appliances in the kitchen as well as the new washer and dryer. The Beach House really would accommodate many people. There were just 4 of us, but we enjoyed being able to spread out and enjoy the updated house. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach. We did get to enjoy the fabulous deck, which had a good view of the ocean and had plenty of chairs and chaise lounges. The owner was easily accessible to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this property.

Family of 5 With Teens

We return to Rye and this home each year and it's one of the highlights of our summer! Great flow to the house for everyday activity with plenty of room for all to have their own space. Second floor patio deck a real asset. We have family in the area and both the house and yard are good for gatherings. Easy access by foot to a wonderful beach and local convenience stores. Plenty of restaurants and shopping only a 20 minute drive to Portsmouth. Owners are very accomodating. Located on Ocean Blvd so expect road noise.

Rye Revisited

My family and I have been coming to this house for several years now. It has always been well-maintained and is in excellent condition. Recently, the homeowners did some major reno to the house, updating the baths (2), the kitchen, and adding a two car garage. What was previously a pleasant stay has been made even more comfortable and visitor friendly. The property owners are very cordial and friendly. We will be back for many years to come (hopefully). Did I mention it's in a great location and a great community???

Wonderful House, fully renovated

Mr and Mrs Murphy are warm and charming. The house is large and well apportioned for family use. Great garage, both gas and charcoal grills. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Has WiFi set up which was great for a family with multiple laptops. Tremendous fun getting lobster and steamers from the local lobsterman, had a wonderful family party.

Wonderful Stay on the Beach

We moved into the immaculate house Sat. to celebrate my son's graduation for Harvard. On Sunday I was swimming in the ocean at 6:45 AM. Then we had a gathering of family and friends to help us celebrate. We had all ten beds full for two days. Our guest included my 90 year old father and his 86 year old sister. All were comfortable. I swam in the Atlantic 6 days. My wife, Ellen, took long beach walks every day. The house was beautifully appointed with all the modern conveniences and new appliances. There was even a outdoor shower with hot water. Jon and Jean let us use their extra refrigerator for our big party. They were very nice and accommodating. My one suggestion for improvement would be a larger gas grill for big parties, but at least we had a grill. All in all, we had a blast and were sad to leave our lovely house right on the beach.
