We are a family and we are the direct owners of our apartments. Perhaps you've mixed up your memories with some other reservation elsewhere. Let's start from the beginning: You booked our apartment on May 12th and arrived in July. Within minutes of your booking, we immediately contacted you with messages and information. You, however, ignored us and never contacted us in 2 months. Due to your complete lack of communication, even 10-12 hours before your arrival, we were forced to try to contact you several times via messages on the website and even via WhatsApp, hoping you could at least let us know your estimated arrival time so we could arrange to receive you. We had kindly asked you several times to inform us and keep us updated in case of delays so we could manage the situation together. At some point, you were supposed to arrive around 4:30 PM, or perhaps a little later. And after waiting at your apartment for over an hour, like fools, we tried to contact you again at 5:00 PM for information. Only later did you let us know you were still 100 km from Prague and were waiting for a train at a station. So we left, very disappointed, and returned later. We had politely asked repeatedly to be informed in case of problems or delays. Furthermore, your phone worked perfectly; you had no excuse; you could have simply informed us. Of course, you didn't even offer to leave, say, a €5 tip (a token one). Regarding the other fictitious problems mentioned: you were informed of everything, and if you needed anything, information, or special needs, you could have simply said so before, during, or even after your arrival. During your check-in, we spent about 45 minutes in the apartment with you (as we usually do with everyone), showing you everything and answering all your questions and requests. Furthermore, as we always do with all our guests, we also repeatedly asked you, insistently: "Are you happy? Is everything okay with the apartment? Can we still help you in any way?". And you always responded by saying you were very happy with the apartment, with everything, and that you didn't need anything else. Furthermore, as usual, we also repeatedly informed you that we were always available for you should you need anything. You could have easily contacted us via the website, WhatsApp, or phone, and we would have arrived within minutes. But you never did. You stayed in our apartment for only 3 nights. In addition to all the 8 towels provided for you, which you were informed about and clearly saw upon arrival, did you also want extra towels? You could have simply said so or contacted us later. We're very kind and provide them free of charge. Were you unable to find the bags in the apartment? You could have simply mentioned it or contacted us later; we would have helped you immediately. You also wrote that the sheets "look" dirty... That doesn't make much sense. Do they look dirty or are they dirty? Those are two very different things. Sheets? Plural? All of them? What are you writing? You should have mentioned it when we were together, or you should have informed us immediately, even afterward. Nobody's perfect; perhaps there could have been a flaw with a sheet. Never say never. In that case, we would have immediately replaced a sheet or pillowcase, if necessary. But you should have informed us and allowed us to check it ourselves, because in the past, someone has written that the sheets were dirty, but when we went to check it ourselves with the guests... it wasn't true. In fact, we often witnessed embarrassing or unusual scenes. For example, some guests (incredibly) thought their own shadow was a black stain on the sheets or towels. Incredible but true. Or the towels had clearly been soiled by them and then they admitted it. You wrote that you were hot at night, and that the fans helped lower the temperature. Again, let's recap: the day before your arrival, the high was 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) and the low was 16 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit). The day you left, the high was 23 degrees Celsius (73 degrees Fahrenheit) and the low was 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). And during your 3 day stay, the temperatures were always similar. So, since the temperatures in the evening and at night reached around 15-16 degrees Celsius (59-60 degrees Fahrenheit), if you were hot, you could simply open a window. Or even all the windows. It doesn't make much sense.
