We too love the view. We like that Our Smoky Mountain View is the first cabin you come to on that level so you have a wider view. That and the well maintained roads in Legacy Mountain Resort were some of the top reasons we purchased our vacation home in Legacy Mountain.

We absolutely loved our stay at Our Smoky Mountain View! The cabin was clean, cozy, and peaceful, with everything we needed to feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, and one of the thoughtful touches we especially appreciated was having a dog crate available, so we didn’t have to haul one along with us for our furry family member.Our host was wonderful about communicating before our arrival, with helpful emails explaining what to expect, check-in instructions, the pet policy, dog-friendly places to visit, the closest grocery store, and restaurant recommendations. The binder inside the cabin was also a great resource for answering any questions during our stay.One of our favorite parts was enjoying coffee every morning while watching the sun rise and taking in the beautiful views and tranquility this cabin provided. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.Thank you for opening your home to us and our furry family! We truly appreciated all the thoughtful details that made our stay so comfortable and welcoming. We would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly getaway, and we would love to stay here again!

We too love the view. When we were searching for our vacation home and came across Legacy Mountain Resort, we knew this was the perfect place for our home away from home. The view is outstanding. There are no scary roads like some we encountered when looking at different vacation homes. And, Legacy is so close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

This is a very nice cabin and is pretty clean. There was definitely dog hair around the cabin. That didn’t bother us as it is a dog friendly property. After booking, you get quite a few emails about different policies and procedures. It is to the point that it is excessive and difficult to find information since it is in so many places. They talk about how the cleaning and pet fee are not to clean after pets, which again I understand, however it comes across a bit threatening that if there is any sign of a dog being there you will be charged in addition to the cleaning and pet fee. It made us feel nervous to have our dogs there even though they are very well behaved and clean. To arrive at the cabin and find dog hair was a little disappointing given the strict seeming dog policies. Overall good stay, I just feel like maybe they shouldn’t allow pets if it causes such stress and anxiety to the property owners.

We are glad you had a good stay at Our Smoky Mountain View, and we appreciate your understanding of our dog-friendly policy. It was a very hard decision to allow pets in our vacation home. We have pets and love our pets and want to have them with us not only for their company but also so we don't have to worry if they are ok back home with whoever we leave them with. We always bring blankets with us for our dogs and toys and such. However, there are people who aren't as respectful of other peoples property. So, we want to make sure those people have a clear understanding of the expectations. We hear your concerns about the number of emails. Our intention is never to cause stress, but rather to ensure all guests — with or without pets — enjoy a clean and welcoming environment. We do have a lot of emails about the cabin and the area. Each email is titled so you can find the information you need. For instance, we send out a packing list which details exactly what the cabin provides and does not provide. We send an attractions email. We send a list of pet friendly activities for those brining pets. Regarding the dog hair you noticed, we apologize for that oversight. It is so very hard to get all the pet hair out that is why we ask our guests with pets to help out by cleaning up after their pets. We truly value our guests and try to ensure they have everything they need for a great Smoky Vacation.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at this location. The view was amazing and it was close to everything. The home was fairly clean, however, there was quite a bit of dog hair in the beds which we didn't care for, but tossing everything in the wash took care of it. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay for us and we left good reviews for you! Thank you again!

The property was very good, the hot tub on the top balcony was noisy at night so we had to move out of the top floor bed and into the second bedroom,luckily there was only two of us . We found clothes left by previous occupants in the drawers and tumble dryer. Overall we still enjoyed the property.

Amazing views

Our family of 4 loved relaxing at the cabin with the amazing views. The kids enjoyed the pool area and the view there is also great. We highly recommend staying at this cabin!

A Stay To Remember
