This is a beautiful, spacious home. It is clean and well stocked. The host goes above and beyond to communicate effectively and you can tell she really cares about her guests and the house. Couldn’t recommend more.

We enjoyed our stay very much in Lakewood at this very charming, older home while we explored surrounding areas. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were a comfortable place to lay our heads at night. The front porch and yard are beautiful, perfect place for photos! We loved hanging out in the backyard with our little Miss Darcy in the evenings.The host was always available when needed and communicated instructions cearly.Thank you for having us, hope to explore again one day

We loved our stay at this whimsical home! There is plenty of room to spread out with 4 levels to explore! I loved the architecture and Victorian charm. The neighborhood is wonderful and very close to the lake. We will definitely stay again. The host was wonderful and helpful every step of the way!

It was our pleasure to host you! Yes the lake is just on the next street over. In fact any street ending in the word “cliff” like Edgecliffe has a view of the lake and usually a little garden or bench to enjoy it even more.

We so enjoyed hosting you and your family and answering your questions about the house history. Yes we still have the phone lines and the original pencil sharpener of the bookie who lived here and sold the Tiffany chandelier to pay his debts. We wish we still had that Chandelier!!

We had a wonderful stay in Lakewood! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt welcoming from the moment we walked in.The location was a huge highlight. Being in walking distance to great restaurants and gyms made our family visit so easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood felt safe, lively, and full of charm.The host was responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Truly one of those stays where you wish you could add an extra day… or three.Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lakewood!

So wonderful to host you and I love the pictures you shared here- especially in the Victorian, courting bench. We love it when our guest send us pictures of their loved ones, children, and grandchildren sitting in the bench. Thankyou for all of the compliments it means so much to our team. Come back in spring and really walk the neighborhood. The gardens, Lake Erie, and see the local architecture. Most everything was built between 1900 to 1920.

Family getaway

This a great old house with all of the character in the perfect neighborhood in Cleveland. We got everywhere we wanted in 15 mins, easily. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly.

Everyone loved it here. It was nice having your own room. It’s only about 15-20 drive, to get to everything we wanted to do. The property manager and owner were very sweet and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Wonderful, quirky Victorian home. Yes, it may be squeaky, but that's part of the charm! Stacked kitchen, charming grounds and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars.

Family Stay

We loved our stay here! My family came to visit Lakewood and Cleveland and this was a great location. The home was charming and as advertised, plenty of space for my husband, two kids and my parents to all stay comfortably. Beautiful home and wonderful neighborhood!

Friendly and helpful owner, great location

We loved staying in this very large house with lots of character, many amenities and a great location in a beautiful neighbourhood west of Cleveland. Our host was very responsive, friendly and helpful with many tips for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely go back.

The house has a welcoming character. The front porch is magical. Lots of stairs like an old house does, good and creaky. We had a plumbing issue but Susan acted quickly. She is a great host.

Family visit for the weekend

The house served all of our needs as we were in town to visit family. The house was easy to find and access and all the supplies were available to us to make it our home away from home. The host communicated very well on our visit to ensure we had all the details we needed.

Eclectic, comfortable and great location

We absolutely enjoyed our visit. The house was full of gorgeous woodwork, antiques and a beautiful yard that romantically lit up at night. The beds were super comfortable and Susan was a great hostess! You can't beat the location which is close to everything you would need. The house was very clean and cozy! We look forward to another visit!

We had a delightful time. The house was clean and tidy. We couldn’t find a hairdryer but it didn’t slow us down.

Historic charm

We had a sewer backup our first morning, but our host addressed the problem right away, and Angie cleaned thoroughly and took good care of us. We had room for our extended family to be comfortable and the location was perfect. Susan checked in with us frequently to make sure we were comfortable.

Wonderful Vacation

Susan is a wonderful hostess! We love the house and the location is fabulous! So close to everything. Susan recommended seeing the sunset from the solstice steps at Lakewood Park and it did not disappoint! If coming to Cleveland again I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful house with us!
