Located in the town of Los Osos (10 minutes from San Luis Obispo), and at the foot of Montana De Oro state park, "Kiss the Sea Ranch" is a lovely home with lots of windows and outside areas to enjoy the views from every angle. The Owner has spent an extraordinary amount of time to make this large home the perfect retreat for families, couples, or small groups. This very special property is adjacent to the stunningly beautiful Montana de Oro State Park. Close to wildlife, it's important to be aware of your surroundings at all times. You can walk down the road toward the beach and the sand dunes. Please note that, depending on the time of year, some trails may become overgrown and difficult to navigate. Alternatively, you can drive the short distance to the beach. The area also offers many excellent trails for hiking and biking.. Owner has sleds for the sand dunes, towels and beach toys. This location is a true paradise for outdoor aficionados or you can stay inside and relax by the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The location is just South of Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals and Big Sur. We are only 20 minutes to downtown San Luis Obispo known for its great Thursday night Farmer's Market, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Occupied Granny Unit on premises. The unit is below the back bedrooms, occupied by a single tenant.

Beautiful house with wonderful views. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Only challenge was the path to the beach was not really a great path. Overgrown. We wished we could have used it.

Because it is a public path maintained by the town and sits outside of our property lines, we unfortunately cannot clear it ourselves, but we truly wish it had been in better condition for your stay. The pictures don't do this place justice. It is exceptional. The views are breathtaking. The location is absolutely ideal. Grocery store 5 minutes, hiking, biking, surfing, sand dunes, tide pools, horse trails, kayaking all just a few minutes away. Whether you want to just sit and watch the waves roll in and watch the abundant wildlife and beautiful sunsets, or want to get out and explore the central coast, this is an absolute gem. You will not regret it.

It was a beautiful area, great home with comfortable beds. Awesome dining table for family meals and card games! The dune sledding was a bit tough, but the kids had a blast at the water and along the trail.

Fabulous Weekend near MDO

Loved staying at this property. The views are stunning all around the house. The house is stocked with perfect amenities. The ping pong table made for great family time. Going back for sure.

Great Location

Close to nature, easy access to Los Osos and a short drive to SLO. This place allowed us to see everything we wanted to in the area, but also allowed us to relax 'at home' and take in the natural surroundings.
