It was a very pleasant stay where are families could get together for thanksgiving. The pool table was a hit with the kids. Joel was always available for questions. Would be a great house to rent during Talladega Race Week!

Great fun lake house. Clean, fun for family and friends. Right in the water with great views from porch. Joel is excellent to rent from - great commutations, friendly, and genuinely interested that you’re enjoying your stay.

The lake views from the deck were absolutely beautiful — that’s where we spent most of our time during the stay! The house is well-stocked with everything you might need, though the overall style just wasn’t quite to our personal liking. We were a little disappointed that the Big Green Egg grill wasn’t in good working order, as we had hoped to use it. Still, the setting itself made for a relaxing getaway with truly stunning views.

Wonderful!

This house was perfect for our stay! It had everything we needed, we loved having the downstairs area for the teens to hang out and had a blast fishing and swimming off the dock! Joel was a wonderful host. Always quick to respond with any questions we had. Look forward to vacationing here again.

Beautiful lake views

We were in town for the 12U state baseball tournament. The boys had a great time fishing and swimming. The properly was spacious and clean. All the windows give you beautiful views of the lake everywhere you look! Joel was a great host!

Beautiful property and comfy house

First impression of the property was comfort and home. The house feels well lived in, in the good way, like staying at your grandma's house. There were plenty of rooms for our needs and having a bathroom on every floor was convenient. We really didn't spend much time inside though because the landscaping and outdoor seating areas were all so inviting that we spent most of our time on the patio or by the lake. The landscaping reminded us of the set of The Hobbit. All lush, green, and pathways made of logs. The nightly show from the fireflies was also impressive. The boys did take advantage of the full sized pool table downstairs and I threw a few darts at the board.

Great spot on the lake.

Was in town for the NASCAR race. Great location, the home was very nice and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck and having a great time!

Wonderful location for family getaway

Family fun!!!

This house was fantastic for a family. The three levels allowed space for everyone. The terrace level had a pool table, dart board and large TV… the kids loved it down there. Main floor had the beautiful view of the lake and the morning sunrise on the deck was stunning. We enjoyed our family vacation

Lake House Stay

The location was great and the home was spacious enough for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Boat dock accommodated both fishing and our pontoon boat. All appliances worked great, water pressure was great, hvac worked really good, pool table was a lot of fun…. Overall good weekend. Host was very responsive and friendly.

Great race weekend

Group of mid 50s to mid 60s guys in for the NASCAR race at Talladega. Little bit of a ride to the track but we knew that going in. It was well worth the ride to be able to stay in a roomy lake house. The pictures of the property may have been from a few years ago but, overall, it was perfect for our group. Joel was quick to respond to all of our inquiries, as well.

Wedding Weekend

My daughter’s wedding was nearby at Ridge Pointe so this was the perfect place for the entire family to stay. The view of the water was beautiful and we enjoyed sipping coffee while watching the sun rise.

Nice and quiet lake house

The location was perfect! Right on the lake. It was nice to go out and sit on the dock and watch the sunrise every morning. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and a teenager in the house. Lots of seating with the dining table, couches and the bar on the main floor. Down in the basement there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed playing pool and darts down there as well. Lots of lighting throughout the house and the air conditioning worked great in all levels. We stopped daily at the Cotton Patch gas station/convience store just a few minutes from the house. They had amazing and affordable food. The owner was very nice and responded very quick with any questions I had prior to my stay and during.

Alpine Bay/Clear Creek area

Nice, big house with plenty of views of Logan Martin Lake. We enjoyed the pool table and sunroom located downstairs and the deck upstairs. Very quiet cove and area of the lake. There are a few steps to get down to the dock/lake, but convenient for docking a 24' pontoon. Joel, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions and easy to work with during our stay.

Very comfortable home

Easy access to lake. Lots of dock space in a quiet area of the lake. Young granddaughters caught several small bream at the dock. Basement with pool table, dart board and tv was a hit. Alpine Bay golf near by. Great visit.

We chose the lakehouse because it is a great weekend getaway from Atlanta. It is the perfect place to get away from the big city and 'commune' with nature.

We enjoy visiting the lake to get away from it all. This is a beautiful house on the water with a great deck to grill or just to relax and enjoy the view. The pool table, darts,and wetbar make it a great place for entertaining friends and family.
