Questa baita per famiglie è per coloro che vogliono veramente evitare la folla. Alla fine di una strada asfaltata senza uscita, la proprietà si imbarca sui 90.000 acri della Flambeau River State Forest. Con facile accesso a miglia e miglia di motoslitte, atv e sentieri escursionistici nel cuore del paese di Wisconsin Elk.

Il nostro lago è profondo e pulito e ha pochissimo traffico in barca nei giorni feriali. La profondità tipica dell'acqua alla fine del nostro molo è di 6 '.

Con due ponti, pozzo del fuoco, 4 kayak, 2 canoe e una barca a remi a vostra disposizione. Uno slip disponibile per la barca, si prega di chiedere posto.

Perfetto per piedi bagnati o neve, il piano principale del lodge è ricoperto di moquette con trattamenti interni / esterni per una facile pulizia e tranquillità. Il piano principale ha un letto matrimoniale (California King), una seconda camera da letto (matrimoniale), un bagno, una sala da pranzo, una sala giochi bonus con divano letto estraibile e una camera familiare.
Il nostro seminterrato ha ripostiglio, bagno, sauna, camera da letto n. 1 e n. 2 con letti matrimoniali e singoli. La regina aggiuntiva è nell'area comune. Quindi, ecco la suddivisione del letto: Seminterrato: 3 letti matrimoniali, 2 letti singoli, 1 letto a castello, 2 letti singoli estraibili. Piano principale: Cal. King and queen, un divano letto. E il soppalco a castello, adatto ai bambini, dispone di 4 letti singoli. Divertimento sì?

- Canile attaccato al garage. Non sono ammessi più di due cani a casa.

Connors Lake è un lago di 410 acri situato nella Contea di Sawyer. Ha una profondità massima di 82 piedi. Abbiamo un'ottima spiaggia sabbiosa e sbarco pubblico in barca. I pesci includono muschiato, luccio, panfish, spigola, spigola e walleye. L'acqua del lago è moderatamente chiara.

Lakeside Family vacation

Awesome place to stay

Our family of 8 siblings and spouses, came from all around Wisconsin and one family member from Ohio to vacation together. Matt the host was great, checking in with us to make sure all was good. The place was awesome! Large and accommodating our family. The view of the lake was wonderful. . Thanks Matt for renting your beautiful property. Sincerely, The Moyer and Popp families.

Very relaxing

We had a great time relaxing, using kayaks and paddle boat, eating and playing games. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and there was plenty of space for all of to eat together but then also get some alone time.

Perfect Family Vacat

We had a wonderful time hanging out, fishing and swimming. The lodge was great. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. We would destay there again. Hosts were very communicative and welcoming with a phone call upon our arrival.

Wonderful relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time relaxing, fishing and hiking. Located on a dead end it quiet and peaceful. Lake is clean and great for swimming. We boated and fished every day. The catch of the week was a 21" Walleye. We walked the trail to the creek and kids caught frogs, snails, and sunfish while the dogs played in the water. Wonderful place to stay!

My second visit. We were able to take groceries, as kitchen is fully furnished for cooks. Screened in porch was good for a toddler. Canoes, kayaks, paddle boat appreciated.

The Perfect, Quiet Escape

This is exactly what we needed, after 3 months of quarantine and several canceled trips. This property was clean, cozy and the lake is absolutely peaceful and beautiful. Our kids loved the recliners, the sunroom overlooks the lake and is breathtaking, and we loved the authentic cabin feel. We rented a pontoon from Big Bear Recreational Rentals, which is very nearby - and they even delivered it to the boat landing right down the road. The ONLY thing that was slightly inconvenient was that the nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. But it was a small price to pay for the peace and tranquility that this property offered. So wonderful! We're so grateful to have experienced this lovely long weekend.

Very pleasant, relaxing stay

My family of 5 decided to stay here for a late Spring getaway. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is some motor boat traffic, but it is minimal and does not detract from the serenity. We made extensive use of the kayaks and the paddle boat, which were a lot of fun. The mosquitos were absolutely ravenous, so bug spray is a MUST. But if you simply take the nice large paddle boat out into the middle of the lake, you can enjoy the beauty of the lake without the insects bothering you. The vast majority of the lake’s shoreline is developed, so that cuts down on the wildlife you will see on the lake. We did occasionally see some loons, but they were not a regular siting. And there were no bald eagles to be found. However, in spite of the development , the shoreline is still very lush, and many of the homes are hidden behind trees. So it is still a very pretty lake. If you have young kids, they will have a BLAST catching little blue gill and baby largemouth right off the dock! The big ones are hard to come by though. I caught a small 13” northern across the lake from the cabin, fishing from the paddle boat, but that’s about it. I caught the northern using rubber peach colored worm with black spots. As far as the cabin itself, it was very nice. The rustic, Northwoods decor was a great treat....very homey. There is plenty of room to spread out if folks want individual quiet time. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The one negative comment I have is that the main floor bathroom and the kitchen are dated. There are surfaces that are stained and feel a little dirty to the touch...but that is simply a result of age, not improper care. New appliances/ cabinets/counters/fixtures would make a nice place even nicer. I would also recommend making more than a single bundle of firewood available to guests. All in all, I would say this was a great rental experience. The owner called us on the first night to see if we had any issues or questions...nice touch. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Great Grouse Hunting Trip!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We had everything we needed from plenty of rooms, beds, cooking supplies, etc…. This place really gives you the cabin feeling inside and outside. The cabin has one of the nicest fire place we have seen. Thank again for allowing us to rent this awesome cabin Rodney Childers

Private Getaway

If you don't like mosquitos, it's nice to have both a deck and four seasons room to enjoy the coffee in the morning. Pan fish were not to be had (as it is August), but we did catch a bass and had a few musky follows. The teenagers also enjoyed tubing on the lake. The hosts were also good with responding to questions we had along the way and made sure to make us feel welcome with some campfire wood and a bottle of wine too! Thanks!

Awesome family cabin

We took our kids & grandkids to the Smith cabin for four nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kayaks, sauna, corn hole & fire pit were great. We also rented a pontoon from Big Bear rental that was hassle free. It's a quiet lake (unless you count all of the Loons :-). It was a great family get a way for us!

Beautiful property

We enjoyed the beautiful cabin and quiet lake. We rented a boat so enjoyed cruising around. The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great lodge on a beautiful lake

This lodge has everything you need for a stay by the lake. It is quite well equipped for cooking - more so than many vacation homes with ample quality kitchen items like sharp knives, a wide variety of pots/pans/skillets and plenty of dishes/silverware. There are also tons of sleeping options with comfortable beds. The kayaks and canoe were great And, the view across the lake from the front room is fantastic.

A little slice of heaven

This was our 2nd stay at this lovely cabin on Connor’s Lake. Everything was perfect- comfortable accommodations, plenty of little perks, peace and quiet. We had a lovely week of weather too! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!!
