Just Beachy is a gem for a family gathering. It has everything you need to prepare a meal, relax and recharge. The weather was fantastic for early October so we we're still able enjoy the water. The paddle boards, kayaks and Swan boat were enjoyed by all...including our Cavapoo.

Sandy Shores is VERY well taken care of, and clean house. We enjoyed our time there. Everything we wanted or needed was in the house. All amenities were top notch. Enjoyed the clean hot tub. We would stay here again.

The house is really, really nice, just as pictured. We visited in the winter so we could experience the Muskegon Luge and do some ice fishing. The kids loved the hot tub and the indoor fire places were really enjoyable.

Beautiful stay on the lake

Lovely home with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking/paddle boarding, and just generally being outdoors. The house is well maintained and equipped, and there’s a pontoon available for rental as well (which we enjoyed).

This is our second year staying at this amazing home. We love the house and number of beds. Nine of us stayed. Excellent for us. Great hot tub. Love the sand on the beach, the water, water toys. We rented the pontoon as well. Our grandchildren absolutely loved everything! And said it was one of our best vacations together.

Wonderful stay!

We had a phenomenal week with extended family. Property is very clean and well stocked. Communication with host was superb. We enjoyed the clean lake and beach toys every day, including fishing, kayaking and boating. Location is ideal to Michigan Adventure, Lewis Animsl Farm, Muskegon and other lakeshore cities. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place

From the moment that we walked in, I knew this was the place to be! The views were gorgeous, the home is very well furnished and the amenities are all there from the comforts of home. We plan on returning every year! The owners definitely put pride of ownership into this beautiful home.

Friend retreat

This was such a wonderful property and vacation for us. We were two Family’s with a total of 7 young children. We never felt the need to leave and felt very cozy and relaxed all weekend! They truly Thought of everything. Thanks for a wonderful stay

We love this property. Would’ve liked the hot tub cleaner as it had scum on the top we had to get out daily. We did love our stay and the openness of the home.

Bridget, I spoke with our pool and spa cleaning company about your concerns on the hot tub cleanliness. They keep detail records on the chemicals levels, make notes on the condition that it is when they arrive, etc. The hot tub was cleaned the day prior to your arrival. The PH level was on target along with the other chemicals checked. There was no scum in the hot tub. Someone in your party had lotion, or hair products on them. This is how scum is created, and the reason we ask that each occupant is free from these items before entering the tub. With your comment that you had to remove the scum daily is confirmation that the scum was created by someone in your party, unfortunately.

Son's Wedding

Beautiful house and location. It was perfect for grandchildren to run off energy. Parents and grandparents enjoyed a little downtime upstairs while grandchildren had playtime downstairs. We loved it.

Wonderful, relaxing vacation

We rent from VRBO every year, and I think this house was the cleanest we have been to! It was the perfect setting, right on the water with a Sandy beach. 10 of us fit comfortably. We spent most of the days playing in the water with the pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, fished off the dock! Great week! So close to Michigan Adventure, we will be back!

I stayed with my children and we loved it! We loved how clean it was, things are up to date and well kept, beautiful home and great location. We had plenty of space throughout the home, outside up front is so nice and very relaxing. There wasn't one flaw. We're very thankful

Absolutely perfect

This house is amazing—has absolutely everything you need and the beach is everything you could want. We had kids from 2 to 10 in the house and they loved it all—the two year old could walk almost 20 feet out without concern as it’s very shallow. 10/10 and will for sure be back.

Family Getaway

The rental was very nice & clean. Supplied with everything we needed. Some negatives were that it was difficult to adjust the temperature & no shades on the lower level. The weather was terrible most of the week, so we were only able to use the pontoon boat a few times.

Thank you for your review. Yes, unfortunately you had a bad week with the weather and I’m very sorry about that. We usually have wonderful hot summers, but this year it’s seems to be raining more than usual for the earlier part of June. The lower level has a lot of privacy due to the layout of the outside structure and heavily tinted windows. So we felt that blinds are unnecessary, and the view is gorgeous. I don’t remember any suggestions from over the years of Guest’s referencing any blinds. With the weather you had during your week, I can believe, you had to decide if you should turn on the a/c or heat.
