Sherry was very friendly and we communicated back and forth several times prior to her stay. It was not only a surprise but a disappointment to read her review and feedback as I had not heard from her during her stay and had no knowledge of the disturbances she spoke of. Therefore, I assumed everything was good. The downstairs tenants have always been very respectful and mindful of guest. They said the few interactions they had with Sherry and her group were friendly ones. Therefore, they were not aware there were any issues either. Our goal is to provide a nice home in a relaxing environment for a fair price and we certainly would have made every effort to be sure this was the case had we known there were any issues during her stay. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and wish we would have been notified immediately. Thank you for leaving the home neat and tidy. It is very much appreciated.

This was an unfortunate situation. The caretaker had recently moved into the lower unit (which is a completely seperate unit with a seperate driveway as well) and I did not realize the VRBO listing had not been updated, as the other rental websites had. We would like to clarify, nobody lives in the travel trailer. The caretaker leaves his dogs in it when he's not home to prevent them from disturbing the guest. The caretaker is a "friendly young man" as described by previous guest in their reviews. And is not bothered or disturbed by our guest. There are several reasons we have a caretaker on the property. Main reason being safety, as having an empty home that no one oversees with guest constantly coming and going could lead to issues. Also the county of El Dorado charges a lower tax rate if someone is living on the property. Just to list a few. However I do understand you were under the impression there would be no one else around and I am sorry. We are going on 5 years of hosting with wonderful reviews. We take pride in providing a beautiful home at a reasonable cost and offering a good experience. Please know we take your concerns into consideration and appreciate the feedback. Again, I am sorry.
