Sul panoramico School Section Lake il panorama si affaccia direttamente tra l'isola e la penisola con grandi pini del nord e centinaia di acri di proprietà della contea che lasciano la vista spettacolare. La nostra proprietà ha diversi alberi maturi per trovare l'ombra e l'abbondanza di spazio aperto per godersi il sole. Due grandi ponti offrono una bella vista con ampio spazio di seduta. Una spaziosa casa in stile ranch con tutti i comfort di cui avrai bisogno. Patio con comode poltrone relax, tavolo da picnic e ombrellone. Pozzo del fuoco per quelle serate speciali. Forniamo anche legna da ardere! E poi c'è la pesca! Oltre 6000 Walleye sono stati piantati.

Great getaway

This places was perfect. Had enough room for everyone. Really enjoyed walking out the door and being right at the lake. Cute property. Good amount of space to sit around a fire as well. Had everything we wanted

Great place

Family Reunion great place to stay. Perfect shade for hot summer days. Great raft for the kids. Plenty of chair to accommodate everyone. Older house but many rooms to sleep in with lots of bedding and towels.

Left the men home :)

Girlfriend’s getaway. Brought the kids, left the husbands at home. House was everything we needed and more. Spent the days enjoying the kayaks, paddle boat, floating raft, and docks for fishing. The weekend flew by, but we were so happy to have found this place on the lake.

Fun for all

We had a great time. The kids had fun playing, fishing, roasting marshmallow’s and playing with all the toys! Adults had fun on the kayaks and paddle boat. A great location! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Nice family vacation

We enjoyed the house and lake. The house seemed cleaner than last year and it was great that the cupboards were cleaned out so we could put stuff away. We missed the paddle board that was there last year. We really had fun on the paddle boat, floating dock and the kayaks.

This was our second time renting this house and there has not been one issue. Everything was as it should be and everyone had a blast! Already rented for next year!

Great Property & Lake

Stayed a few times, love the lake and property. Had an issue with this most recent stay and had to leave early, but the Host was quick to respond and was helpful. VRBO has been awful to work with, we have been waiting for a refund for over a month. They agreed to issue the refund a month ago, just been waiting for them to actually do it. This may be my last time using VRBO, but this has nothing to do with the Host. This property is wonderful and will serve your family well, and I would consider renting this property again if VRBO got their stuff together.

Autumn Trip

The property was nice and quiet. The access to kayaks and paddle boat a fireplace and fire pit, with firewood provided was all important components to an enjoyable weekend. The only thing I would have wanted to know ahead of time was that that the basement bed is only accessible via narrow & steep stairwell. Thankfully, there were alternative bed options.

Great for golfers

This is a great setting with plenty of outdoor space on the beatiful lake. The home has a lot of potential. However, it's greatly outdated, the one bathroom is very small and we ran out of toilet paper on the morning of departure. The pictures and description presented on the online listing were a little deceiving. We still had a great time. Thanks for having us.

Great Space to Relax with Family

We enjoyed our stay. The house had great AC and WiFi- which was important respectively to the old and teens of our group. The shallow part of the lake in front of the cabin was actually sandy - so important to me and my youngest and hard to find when renting on a lake. The fishing wasn't great, but we were there the week of the fourth and boat traffic was constant, so I think the fish were hiding. But the lake has a no wake period in the morning and evenings which was really nice. Everything we needed was there in the bathrooms, kitchen, life jackets, kayaks, lawn chairs, bedding and board games. But there was not wood on site for fires or beach towels- so bring those! We had a very nice time, I hope this review helps those looking for a place to call home for a week. I recommend taking a full week! It'll be worth it!

Very nice and Relaxing

Booked for a bachelor's party for 6 guys. Had plenty of room for hangout and relaxation. We were able to use kayaks and everything we needed during our stay was available. Good, clean house. Only letdown was the water heater was not working. Would recommend to anyone else

Terrible ..So disappointed.

Great location ..easy check in..I stayed 6days with my family I walked in and felt like I just stepped into someones home but not in the good way I called out thinking I had! there is stuff in every drawer in every closet .so you have no room to put your stuff our grocerys had to stay on the counter because we couldn't put them away. Everyone's clothes had to stay in suit cases I realize this is a family home but when you rent thru VRBO it should be cleaned properly that includes cabinets and closets the beds were not the best and there was a old person smell it was so strong and so bad. Like the old couple that own the home just walked out minutes before I walked in..I rent houses thru vrbo and other companies I travel 3 or 4 times a year and I have never encountered anything like this..If my family wasn't driving to meet there I promise you I would of turned around and walked right back out the door so I was forced to make the best of it. I realized there isn't alot of choices in this area but this should never be able to be rented.STAY AWAY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE..I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT. Do your homework they own and rent another one next door that is the very same way.

Great vintage home

We loved our stay in the cottage. I gave a 4 for accuracy of the listing because it stated wood will be provided. We searched the property and didn't see any. Had to provide our own. We did reach out to the owner for a kick back in the rental fee. He agreed. We loved the peacefulness.

Owner responsive. Property perfect. Amenities perfect. Great friendly neighborhood and lake! No problems at all and have already rented for next year! If you’re looking for a family cabin on the lake rent this one!

Very Disappointing Experience

Nice size, reasonably priced cottage on pretty lake. Enjoyed boating options, raft. 5 day stay. Inside cottage was dingy and dirty (walls, windows, carpet, upholstery, curtains. Kitchen cupboards dirty and disorganized with little room for guest items. Tub nearly clogged. Good fireside chairs (no wood) but lower deck had broken, stained chairs and broken picnic table bench on grill patio. Trash bins were overflowing in garage. Made decision to make best of it (did some cleaning in worst areas) as too late to go elsewhere. Then our area of lake unexpectedly posted for weed treatment with a no swimming restriction for 2 days. Asked host if he would consider waiving dock fee during that time to help distract kids. Advised where we could go elsewhere on lake and only took $100 off fee. Situation deteriorated further when tree trimmers showed up those days (told host of my displeasure first day) and ran chainsaws by garage and adjacent property host owns. We had to go elsewhere to enjoy anything. After stay sent letter and pictures to host outlining all we’d endured and requested 50% refund. A week later, no response. Not how we envisioned our long anticipated, 3-generation family vacation.

Great family time

Nice little lake and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, and the floating dock. The sunroom table was good for games when it rained.

A bit of fun in paradise.

Thank you Brian for having this great cottage to share with everyone. Not many people would go to the trouble to provide a cool pontoon boat for their guests, but you do and we appreciate you! Our family had a great time. Hope to see you next year!

Extended Family Vaca

Two families shared this cottage. It has a traditional cottage feel and the open living and kitchen area plus sun porch was a great space for the extended family to gather. We also used the pontoon each day for fishing and site seeing.

Our Family is from Lansing and Grand Rapids, MI. We love Michigan. Summer time at the lake has given us our best memories. We are so excited to have our kids and Grandkids spend time with us to provide them with the special memories they will have.

We have also been renters for many years. In 2003 we rented on School Section Lake and it became one of our favorite lake's in Michigan. When we realized this year we could finally get our lakefront property this is the ONLY lake we looked at. We love it that much. In 2013, we purchased the neighboring cottage and have loved it ever since. In 2018 we purchased this property as well because we love the incredible view. We are directly across from the gorgeous colorful island and penninsula with nothing but mature trees. And beyond that you see the hundreds of acres of county land that is free of cabins and left as nature intended it to be. We also realized quickly this is a home. It is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. You only need to bring your clothes, food and drink and plan on having everything else already here. The lake is special. It is well maintained by the Association for weed control, the clearest water around and this incredible 'up north feel'. It has character with the island, peninsulas and amazing mature pines. There is a county park on the lake that has an amazing swimming area and walking trails. However this is still a semi-private lake. The lake only allows boats with motors less than 10hp. We as property owners can have as we please. And this courtesy is extended to you if you choose to bring a boat or Jet Ski.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We don't want your experience to stop at the end of the dock. We have kayak's, paddle boat and swim platform. You can also bring your own boat or rent a pontoon if desired.The semi-private lake keeps boat traffic down. The morning, late evening no-wake's and all sports during the day it the perfect balance of peaceful cruising, fishing and the fun of an all-sports lake when you just want to get out and enjoy the water and the sun.
