Hi Lee, Thank you for your honest feedback. You were informed correctly that we cannot anticipate when golf carts are going to have issues and that we do our very best to ensure they are repaired in a timely manner when something happens out of our control. These items are provided by the homeowner and guests are not charged extra to use them. Coastal Dreamin’ uses the WiFi to monitor the door locks and thermostats. Without the WiFi these things would not work. Our records indicate all of those worked during the entirety of your stay. We hope you reconsider as we would hope to have you again as our guest. This guest received all of their codes several days before arrival. The front door deadbolt had accidentally been activated and the issue has since been resolved. After reviewing this guest’s correspondence with all of our staff members, including the log that shows what time she entered her own code to access the home, we have discovered this guest had to wait a total of 14 minutes, not 3 hours. We have also reviewed the call where she spoke to a maintenance person, and the call was dropped; no one hung up on the guest. It appears the guest had all of the necessary codes to access the home, including a garage code that would have allowed the guest immediately entry, however, she was not pressing the “enter” button after the code as instructed. We understand the frustration technology can present during these times, but we welcome the guest back for a better experience now that they are familiar with the check-in process. We would also like to invite this guest to update their review to reflect this clean and beautifully appointed vacation home.
