This was a great house for our annual girls weekend! The beds were super comfortable (and we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to provide sheets or towels), the kitchen had all we needed, and the view of the lake was the highlight! Janis was quick to respond as we planned our trip and was very accommodating. We want to book again next year!

What a lovely retreat! If you plan on cooking, you have plenty of cookware to choose from. The windows give such a beautiful view. A great place to swim and kayak. Plenty of floats and a fridge to store drinks. We rented a pontoon an it was a short distance from the house. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Family Spot

We had an amazing time at this lake house. The views are just incredible and it was so nice to have so much space to spend time with our family ! Would definitely recommend this to any family for a cozy stay on the lake!

Second time in this home, we had a great time relaxing with family, cooking and playing board games. Home is very cozy even for large families. Was nice to have a dock to hang out on and the kids had plenty of room inside to do their thing while the adults hung out and the main living space is great for late night movies.

Great getaway

Our family enjoyed this house for a long weekend getaway. The living space is excellent and comfortable with huge windows for an amazing lake view. We were lucky enough to watch a spectacular sunset. It was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great Lake House

The Songbird Haven was an perfect fit for a gathering of old friends. It was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was very well equipped and roomy enough for group food preparation. Living room area had plenty of seating and a beautiful view. Check in was easy. We will definitely rent this home again!!

Great Lake House

Great week at the lake with our kids and grandkids. The house had plenty of space for 10 of us and the dock made it perfect for days by the lake swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing and watching beautiful sunsets. Very quiet part of the lake which made it great for the grand kids swimming. We loved this house and plan to return.

The house was clean and comfortable. All the kitchen cabinets were labeled so everything was very easy to find. My favorite part was the warm clean water and the paddle boards. This is an exceptional rental!!

Annual family vacation

Wonderful layout for multiple family vacation. The kitchen layout was fantastic and well stocked and the large table accommodated our family game nights. The dock was large and the fridge was a game changer. We were able stock it to make going up and down less of a hassle. The views were incredible and the sunsets unbeatable. Would definitely come back. Thanks for having our family. We really enjoyed our time at your home

It was nice to have deep water at the dock. The cove is fairly quiet, except for the weekend. I am 76 years old and had trouble getting up all the steps from the dock. That is my reason for a four star rating. All of my younger family members had no problem. The dock was nice with a boathouse that has a refrigerator. Kept our bait and drinks cold. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Those that like it cold can sleep downstairs and the ones that like it warm can sleep upstairs. The only thing we found lacking was a pop-up toaster. The toaster oven took too long. There is a community dock/boat ramp that is adequate, however, the road down the hill has been rutted by the rain. I can easily recommend this home and hostess. The times I communicated with her, she respond immediately. My age with the steps were the only reason for not rating a five.

VERY comfortable home and amazing view

Stayed here for a weekend with family. We knew nothing about this general area, but we were so happy with everything about the home. The comfort, the layout, the views. I have rarely been at a rental home where everyone was comfortable inside and we all said we can easily do another week here straight through. I would recommend this home for someone wanting a great layout, and a very serene location. If you are unfamiliar with the area, i would also suggest trying to arrive during daylight which we barely made but it was really easy- just unfamiliar. The only time i would not recommend this area is if you want to stay in a bustling location with many food and shopping options. We will likely be have.
