Great proximity to the pool and a private beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time and very much enjoyed walking with our two young children and dog to the beach and the pool. The property's general condition was clean but did not have the nicest appliances and the kitchen was barely stocked with enough tools to make meals. Checking under the beds there were some dust bunnies. The living room furniture was OK as far as quality. The pictures make it look nicer than it was in reality.

Bay Creek development was also beautiful with outstanding landscaping. The town of Cape Charles as always is a fun place to shop and eat. But the best part of Bay Creek was the private beach on the Chesapeake Bay - BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Great furnishings and lots of extras that made it feel like home. Did not even need to bring all the Thanksgiving cooking supplies! Love Cape Charles and plan to return!!

Bliss at Baycreek

We stayed for thanksgiving at The Sandbox which was perfectly placed, a stones throw from the beach. The home was beautiful furnished and fully equipped. We enjoyed the festivities in town and s’mores on the beach! We look forward to next time.

The properties have been in excellent condition and the management team very responsive to our needs. The use of amenities is such a plus and the golf, trails, and of course The Bay. This year our water was shut off for 3 hours ( some sort of error) which with 8 people was a definite downer- Bay Creek was completely responsive and extremely helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sandbox home is well equip for a lovely vacation stay. Whether you like to cook or not, all the tools are there. We even did an oyster roast on the back patio with local harvested oysters which was heavenly. The home has 3 bedrooms that comfortable accommodates a small family plus the hideaway bed if one needs it. Great location to walk to the beach for sunsets. Easy 1/4 mile to the golf course. With friendly local families and a wonderful environment, one cannot go wrong with this lovely home. Only negative comment, there is always one, is the fans need adjustment to keep them quiet. Reported this and the management said they were on it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was comfortable and for those who like to cook, the kitchen was well stocked above the ordinary vacation rental. Decor nice, furniture and beds comfortable. Numerous bikes and beach chairs plus other beach toys to use. Noted kitchen faucet needs some maintenance to keep it from running. Master bedroom could use some new pillows, ones there quite old. Otherwise very enjoyable time. Would stay again.

House needs work

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoy Bay Creek but this house needs some tlc. Upon entering the front porch light was broken and hanging from the wall. The house was dirty and looked like it was poorly cleaned. Our toddler had black on her legs from crawling on the floor and there were crumbs on the table cloth and under the table. The a/c was broken when we got there but they notified us that a technician was on the way. He showed up but was unable to fix it. The door nob on the back storage shed was broke off and a bench was holding it shut. We closed it and had to do some of our own handy man work to get it back open. I'd recommend a different house.

A pest control person came unannounced and walked in the house which scared us. Also, both toilets stopped working at the same time. Other than that, it was a great visit.

Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a get away. Best part was vicinity to the ocean for the ladies to enjoy beach off season and the men caught TONS of fish

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely cottage that worked well for a couple with 3 school aged kids. Easy access to Bay Creek’s beach and pool. Quiet There is a lot of construction work nearby that was thankfully on pause during the Labor Day weekend. Well stocked storage room with lots of beach and outdoor gear and an extension cord for charging your golf cart rental.

Beautiful Property

Nice community and great house! Short walk to the beach and so close to the town of a Cape Charles. We enjoyed the beach, pool, bike rides, trip into town. Would recommend this property

A Perfect Week !

We even had a few extra surprises, bikes in the garage to use on the trail. My children had fun using the pool and the crafts.

The only negative is that the outdoor table and chairs are very old and were not usable.

Great Rental

This has been the best rental and vacation for my family. House was extremely clean and accommodating. Short walk to the beach. Easy golf cart path access to town. Loved every minute!!

The Sandbox at Seaside Village

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sandbox was as described. Decor, cleanliness & amenities were EXCELLENT. It would have been very helpful to know that the fridge doesn’t make ice(especially in the summer at the beach) and no ice trays. Therefore, we had to go out and buy ice, which wasn’t convenient. The only other issue was that the outdoor chairs are falling apart, so trying to eat outside is really not practical. A great little cottage!

Delightful in every way!

It was so great to have more space than a hotel room, and it was in great condition. Comfortable bed etc. It was so peaceful; a few minute walk to a lovely beach for sunset viewing. Plenty of quiet roads to walk or ride bike, and could easily bike into town.

Wide-open across the Bay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a golf tournament this past weekend and we had a great time. The place isn't necessarily big, but it's in a great location. The master bath has a beautiful shower with very nice water pressure. The beds could've been a little more comfortable, but overall, not too bad. The water could've also been hotter, but still not a deal breaker. Lastly, they have a washer and dryer and Keurig. Pretty nice amenities. The one thing I would change is the TV Reception. It's Terrible!!!
