Piccola cabina rustica al Black Lantern Resort

La cabina "Rustic" si trova nei siti RV / Tent alla Lanterna Nera. È una piccola capanna di legno che dorme solo due persone e forse un bambino sul soppalco. Un passo avanti da una tenda ma rustico. Completo di un letto full size, un piccolo soppalco, aria condizionata, piano cottura / forno, pentole e padelle, forno a microonde, piccolo frigorifero, radio, TV e DVD per guardare film, macchina per il caffè, un portico adorabile per l'impostazione con sedie, un tavolo da pic-nic, firepit con una griglia di cottura e una macchina per il taglio del tabacco per l'acqua potabile. LA CATTURA È: Non ha un bagno, ma condivide le casette che usano gli altri campeggiatori. Fuori c'è un rubinetto per collegare gli sprinkler per i kiddos e riempire le brocche d'acqua da usare all'interno della cabina, insieme alla macchina Culligan all'interno della cabina per l'acqua potabile. Avete accesso ai sentieri del Resort, al parco giochi, al laghetto da pesca e alle barche con pagaie. Proprio tra il centro storico di Bemidji e l'Itasca State Park entrambi sono a 25 minuti di auto. Bemidji ha uno splendido lungomare, molti festival, le statue di Paul Bunyan e Babe, molti ottimi ristoranti e negozi di antiquariato. Itasca ha una spiaggia sabbiosa con docce, l'origine del Mississippi, un traghetto, Douglas Lodge per un ottimo ristorante, noleggio di biciclette e barche, e molti percorsi ciclabili.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The cabin itself was perfect for 2 people looking for a rustic getaway and our host was very accommodating.

If you’re looking for a quaint getaway to be able to get out into nature this is the place for you. The cabin was absolutely adorable. All the facilities were clean (including the outhouse). The best part is there are kayaks and a canoe that are available to take out on the small lake that is on the property. It was an 8 hour drive for us but I would definitely make the trek again!

A really nice stay at the rustic cabin. We had a campfire both evenings we were there, and had a lovely view of fireflies in the long grass. In the morning there were chipmunks to watch from the porch. The hosts were very helpful. The coffee machine broke our first morning there, and once we sent a text they came round in fifteen minutes to take a look. Showers were high pressure, hot and clean.

Great quiet, peaceful, getaway near parks and activities!

Easy check-in and directions with communicative hosts. Video exactly tells you want is there and possibly to bring. Nicely mowed area around cabin with low-to-no bugs. Would stay again!

Great little cabin!

We had a great time at this little cabin! It's rustic in the sense that there is no running water but it has everything you need. Very clean campground with lots of amenities. Cabin is in it's own private area with it's own clean outhouse and water available outside. Conveniently located with Bemidji and Itasca nearby. We will be back!

Cabin in the middle of nowhere

Very nice spot, nice chalet with all you need into the wild. Access to a very nice lake and natural environment. We have seen wildlife dear, birds, rabbits and a black bear.

Great getaway!!

The cabin is super cute. It has everything that you need. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Simple, quaint place to unplug. Location was great, 25 minutes to Bemidji and only 20 minutes the Lake Itasca State Park. We would highly recommend.

Amazing cabin, amazing hosts

Wonderful cabin in a beautiful, tranquil setting. I definitely plan on returning! And the hosts are the best I've ever experienced. I called them to notify them that my stay needed to be cut short due to a family emergency, and they literally rushed to the cabin to help me pack and leave! I will never forget their kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness during a very stressful time.

We’d go back!

My son (7) and I had a wonderful weekend at the Rustic Cabin. This was the right amount of camping for us - we had a fire outside for hotdogs and s’mores, but we also had a/c and tv/dvd inside. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen tools and dishes. It was so clean, you could eat off the floor. I’ll eagerly recommend this cabin to friends and family.

4th of July Weekend

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The resort grounds are well kept and very cute. The cabin was comfy, well stocked, and clean. The site is close to local sites like Itasca State Park. Be sure to hit the grocery store before you go, or plan ahead to go into Bemidji. It’s about a 25 minute drive. Firewood can be purchased by the bundle on site for $5 - much cheaper than elsewhere nearby. It was quiet and relaxing. Bed was cozy and we slept so good! Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to eat well during our trip. Some cooked over the fire pit outside the cabin, and some inside. As far as I know, there are no camp showers on site and there is a port-a-potty that is for the cabin use only. The host has put string lights on both the deck and in the outhouse for nighttime. Overall, we highly recommend a stay here!

This cabin is an absolute must visit! We stayed for two nights and it was the perfect place to return to after a long day of fishing, hiking, and exploring at Itasca. The rental was clean and exactly as described online. There were enough tools and space in the cabin for us to comfortably make pizzas, enjoy some wine, and prep food for our outings. The bathhouse being a short walk from the cabin was no issue at all, and the Black Lantern Resort was very well-kept in general. The host called us the day before our reservation to make sure we were aware of road closures, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze! We felt safe in the cabin during our entire stay, even when heavy rains hit our last morning. 10/10 would recommend staying here, especially if you are planning on heading over to Itasca and the campground is full!

Excellent Get away

From the moment I drove in and saw the cabin I was in love. The inside was even better. Perfect one room cabin for my sister and I to spend time reconnecting from busy life.

One Room Cabin

The cabin is darling!! There is no running water inside it. Running water is outside. There is a port-a-potty outside. We brought a bucket, so was no problem at night. You're off my yourself and very private. Lots of walking paths, swimming, kayaking, etc. Very great people to work with! Annie was the one we talked with and she was awesome!!

LOVED THE STAY!

There is nothing to complain about and all the rave about. Caretakers are super nice, cabin was as listed and very clean, the environment was so peaceful, there are other campers near by but you still have privacy, porta-potty behind cabin very convenient and also clean. No showers just plan for that. There is a nice large pond, small lake that you can fish in they have jon boats and kayaks for your use. Bagley is your best nearest town for services and a short drive. We loved our stay and recommend you give it a try!

Perfect Cabin

We loved the cabin. It was very well kept, clean, and comfortable. We stayed a very hot weekend and the air conditioning kept us cool. Everyone at the park was friendly and we had a wonderful time. Use of kayaks/canoes was free with our rental and there were some nice shaded trails to walk on. We hope to rent again!

Weekend Getaway

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! It was relaxing, perfect disconnect from devices and everything we were expecting. Anne was amazing and we will definitely be coming back for an extended stay.
