The cabin was great. The kitchen was the best stocked rental I have ever been in. The view was beautiful and it was so quiet and peaceful. It was everything we hoped it would be. Being about 15 min from Ruidoso was good for us and I believe it made it even more peaceful. Everything was very clean and beautiful.

The cabin was just perfect. It was very cozy, clean and well stocked with the basics. Great deck to sit on in the mornings and watch the deer ‘party of three’ each morning. Will definitely stay here again!

The cabin is beautifully decorated and everything you would need is provided. The covered front porch and partially covered back desk were wonderful to sit and enjoy the mountain thunderstroms while staying dry! I had wild horses, deer, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and one bull elk visit during my stay. The cabin was very clean and much thought has gone into making your stay comfortable.
When I first opened up the patio doors, this bull elk was looking right at me! I guess he wanted to welcome me to the neighborhood.

Amazing Stay

We stayed for our Christmas vacation. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to be able to cook at home. It was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed feeding the deer off the back patio. It was a great location for everything we were planning to do while we were there, definitely recommend this place to friends and family

Great views

This was our second stay at this house. We enjoy seeing the wildlife and feeding the deer and wild horses. The back patio has the most spectacular view and is our favorite hanging out place. The management has always been very responsive to any questions we have.

The stay was great! Kitchen was packed with everything you might need. First time I've never needed my kitchen bag I take for traveling. We didnt see any wildlife. Wondering if it’s bc of all the dogs that are penned up. They didnt bark much though. We will diffidently be staying again.

Great getaway.

Staying at Nell’s Getaway was was a great experience. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, the beds very comfy, plenty of extra towels, and the deer and wild horses came right up to the deck. My only concern was the amount of dust on the furniture, kitchen and bathroom cabinets and in general. I understand it is going to be dusty in the woods, but this was definitely built up dust. Otherwise it was amazing and very relaxing.

This is an amazing cabin! It feels like home. Everything you would need or want is provided by the host. I was amazed at the thought out variety of items there for our use. We had cold and snowy weather, but enjoyed time by the fire and watching the mule deer that congregated in the yard. If your looking for a spacious and comfortable cabin to enhance your Ruidoso area stay, this is it! I highly recommend this Vrbo and host.

Cozy Cabin

Exactly what we wanted! A quiet place with a beautiful view and a family of deer that were quite sure we were trespassing!! Having a fire on a snowy night was a bonus followed by the most beautiful sunrise …ever!

Had a wonderful time relaxing in the mountains at this gem!!! This lovely home had it all, nothing they didn't think about. The views are beautiful and had plenty of deer to feed....so bring some food and they'll come a running. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
