We really enjoyed our stay. We’ve been to Deerfield many times and felt that this place was the most updated and well-stocked we’ve experienced. Deerfield, in general, is priced a little high, but we do enjoy our stays.

We loved this property - it was very cozy. Well stocked kitchen easy to find and parking was good. easy to access. Loved the outside deck space and the cozy living room area. We have decided that we will definitely be back to stay here again.

We loved our stay in Deerfield village. The king size bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the whole house felt cozy and warm. It was more spacious than other properties we’ve rented for the same price in Canaan Valley, and the house had a lived-in feel, which we really enjoyed. Everything was in excellent condition and the kitchen was very well-equipped.

Great stay at the condo!

We had a very comfortable stay at the condo. The fireplace was a big bonus that we enjoyed. Perfect location to ski at the local ski resorts . I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Check in was at 3pm, however, the condo was not cleaned; trash was still not taken out, beds were not made and restrooms were unclean. When I messaged the host, it seemed like this was no big deal, but stated that the cleaning lady would be there and she was. She quickly cleaned the place in about an hour. The garbage that was taken out remained on the porch until the next day. The cleaning lady only left two towels and washcloths in the two bathrooms and stated that she would bring more the next day because the washing machine wasn’t working. She never came with more towels or washcloths. Even though the host knew about the dirty condo, she never offered any money off of my stay which was a little disappointing. I was in the area for a conference and I must say that I didn’t get a lot of sleep due to the neighbors next door, the 10pm “quiet time” is not enforced. With all of this being said, the condo itself was nicely furnished and comfortable and within a reasonable distance to Canaan Resort.

A wonderful getaway

This place was perfect! 6 mins to timberline mountain, and located in a quaint area with plenty of things to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay

We love the place and stayed there for the second summer in a row. One very minor suggestion is that 4 chairs around the dining table is not enough for a place accommodating 6 people. Overall, we recommend this place without a doubt.

Canaan, WV weekend bit getaway

Rental was great. Exactly what we were looking for. A quiet family getaway to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Would definitely recommend. Great place and location.

Timberline ski trip

Great place. 2nd time I have stayed in Deerfield Village. Very convenient location. 10 minutes to Timberline. Very quiet and peaceful. Love it there!

A mountain gem

This place was just right. So comfortable, and with everything we needed. Just a few minutes away from both ski areas. If we could find a place like this everywhere we traveled, we’d be delighted!

Another great stay!

This is our second time staying at this property, and we hope to make a return trip! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Canaan Valley BBQ, and a short drive to Timberline. The property was clean and cozy, with plenty of room for our family. It was easy to cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Great value and we plan to return soon!

Nice weekend getaway, close to ski resorts

My family and I stayed at this VRBO for a long weekend of skiing. Property was clean and well stocked with essential supplies. Property manager was attentive. Location was very convenient -- close to a BBQ restaurant, gas station, and two ski resorts. We would definitely stay again.

Family Reunion

This was our second time staying at this condo. It has more than met our expectations each time. The host has always been very helpful and available for any questions or needs that we have had. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is very comfortable. We enjoyed both of our stays and plan to visit again next year.

Quiet and cute

Perfect condo for our short but satisfying stay. Lower bathroom was not clean upon our arrival and the trash had not been taken out but that did not negatively impact our stay. Would not have any reservations about staying here again.

Our stay at this condo was enjoyable. It had everything necessary to make it feel like home. Everything was as described in the listing, with only one small hiccup during our time in the area. That hiccup was at the very beginning of the stay, when we arrived about a half hour after the stated check-in time of 3:00 PM to find that the cleaning from the previous guest was still in process. This was not a huge deal, but we certainly would have preferred to arrive to a totally cleaned/vacated unit. Outside of this, everything was really as we expected it to be, and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.
