Questa unità è completamente privata con una voce separata, spazio vitale, 2 camere da letto, bagno, soggiorno e cucina full size. Nessuna spesa è stata risparmiata nel design di questa unità altamente aggiornata che offre viste sull'Oceano, sul ponte di Coronado e sulle isole al largo della costa dal portico anteriore della proprietà. Nessuna spesa è stata risparmiata nel layout e nel design di questa unità che è moderna classica. La zona giorno presenta un divano-letto estraibile in pelle, un'ampia Smart TV a LED, tavolo da pranzo con sedie, ventilatore a soffitto e condizionatore a parete. La cucina è splendidamente rinnovata completa di tutto il necessario per cucinare i propri pasti durante il vostro soggiorno con noi. Il bagno è nuovo di zecca, separato dalle camere da letto e dotato di un sacco di asciugamani soffici, shampoo, balsamo, lavaggio del corpo e un asciugacapelli. Ci sono letti queen size in ciascuna delle 2 camere da letto separate. Entrambi i letti queen hanno materassi in schiuma di memoria che sono molto confortevoli. Ogni camera ha anche un ventilatore a soffitto, aria condizionata a parete e una smart TV LED ad alta definizione con accesso via cavo e capacità di streaming. Tutti e 3 i televisori dispongono dell'accesso Netflix fornito gratuitamente ai nostri ospiti. La nostra struttura si trova a 5 minuti di distanza in auto dal centro congressi, dal quartiere di Gas Lamp, dal Ball Park, dall'isola di Coronado, dall'aeroporto, dal Balboa Park e dallo zoo. L'accesso all'autostrada è situato dietro l'angolo e la fermata dell'autobus transita da e verso il centro si trova all'interno di un isolato. Tutte le spiagge locali sono facilmente raggiungibili in auto. Alcuni dei luoghi più famosi di Golden Hill come il Turf Club, Panchitas Bakery, Krakatoa Coffee Shop, Luigi's Pizza e Golden Hill Park sono tutti facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Godetevi una tazza di caffè al mattino e viste sul ponte di Coronado Bay dal patio con tavolo e sedie sulla veranda. C'è una lavanderia in loco, quindi controllare per monete, detersivo per il bucato e tessuti ammorbidenti che forniamo nell'unità come un omaggio e il nostro modo di dire grazie. Cheap place with a caring owner

The property was in low standards all around - we had no hot water for the first 3 days, there were hairs in tub when we arrived, no operational tub stop, no linens for crib, old sofa that the pillows can’t remain on it. Landlord was communicative, replaced tub stop, brought linens, and took care of hot water issues.

We respect our Guests right to their opinions and rarely feel the need to intervene, but in this case we feel it is warranted. On the afternoon before Christmas we were contacted with a miriad of requests most of which were accomodated within a couple of hours. We provide a Pack-n-Play upon request, but Guests typically bring their own linens. Regardless, extra linens were provided. The tub stop was checked and it was discovered that the screw-in portion somehow was stripped. A rubber replacement was provided with the linens. We had no idea there were any issues with the hot water until it was brought to our attention. Despite of the near impossibility of finding a plumber on Christmas day, a friend discovered a circulating pump on the water heater had malfunctioned. As no stores were open, he arrived the next morning to replace it. An apology was issued along with a credit back for a night's stay. This entire process less than 24 hours. The leather sofa bed is exactly 2 years old this is the first complaint recieved. We honestly assumed our immediate response and credit-back to a fair resolution an unforseen circumstance. We would advise prospective Guests to read our extensive reviews from the many people who have stayed with us over the years who sincerely enjoyed their experiences at our property.

Good place to stay while you visit San Diego

The property was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all essentials. A grocery shop is nearby. We, a family of 4, were missing a table to sit down and enjoy dinner. We got the folding table and folding chairs out of the storage area and than it was fine. The sleeping sofa is not really for sleeping. Turns out that 25th street seems to be heavily used by police and fire trucks. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and interacting with other parties. Very safe area and close to Bilboa park

We respect our Guests opinions and rarely feel the need to respond as the vast majority of our reviews are positive, but in this case we feel it is warranted. There is a dining room table provided in the living area that seats 2 as well as an additional table provided in the unit that seats 4. The Queen sofa bed is of course utilized for sleeping and this is the first we have ever heard of it not meeting expectations. Our property is located on the slope above a major metropolitan area, so sirens are at times unavoidable. It is likely that activity during New Years may have contributed to an increase in activity.

Amazing place

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. The unit was very clean, comfortable beds, and the location of the unit was perfect. We were fairly close to a lot of places. Would definitely stay here again if we ever travel to SD again. Ps the only issue we came across was finding a parking spot at night.

Christmas trip

The unit was very cute & clean. The owner John very responsive. The location was as described, however I wish I had researched it more. Parking on the street was not ideal considering the location. However, the view while having morning coffee on the front porch was interesting. Christmas morning we saw a parade of older vehicles go by with Santa & Mrs Claus.

Great stay

First, let me start off by stating that the communication was excellent. I had a lot of questions and concerns due to this being my first time using something like Vrbo. They responded quickly and were very accommodating. The unit was nice and in a great location. My only gripe would be parking as it's first come, first serve street parking... but this is a problem everywhere in SD.

Better than pictured

We made a very last minute decision to come down to San Diego and booked 24hrs out. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived - it photographs a little dark but it was bright and comfortable. We didn’t spend much time in the unit during the days as we were exploring San Diego, but it was a great location to easily get to the Zoo and SeaWorld. The owner was in contact to make sure we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen seemed recently updated. It’s an older building so the walls are a little thin, but that’s to be expected. Hope our 4yo and 10mo weren’t a nuisance - because they enjoyed our stay as well.

Totally recommend Sherman Heights

Such a comfortable, clean, home-like place to stay. The owner was available & responsive without being intrusive. We loved the already stocked coffee supplies, shampoos, & streaming TV that made it so convenient and home-like. Neighborhood was safe and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer.

Location was perfect

Came to see grandson before he deployed. Location was smack dab in the center of airport and Naval base. John was awesome as far as communication. We mostly hung out just being with each other. We spent a day at the zoo and my recommendation is to do 2 days. 1/2 the park one day and the other 1/2 a different day. Can get be a long day. I'd also try to find out best time for animals. Most were hiding or sleeping. Orangutans were the most entertaining. Thank again John

Summer 2021 stay (5 nights)

Property was as advertised, clean, safe, updated and nicely appointed. AC Units worked great TV in bedrooms and living area were a plus. Very nice cookware, etc.. The owner checking in on us to make sure everything was OK was very nice. Parking at this time of year was an issue and although somewhat close to downtown including PETCO Ballpark, (~2miles) I would NOT recommend walking during these times., especially at night. Getting on/off the I-5 was very easy. About a 10 min drive to Mission Beach and less to Balboba Park We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great location, beautiful place

This VRBO impressed us from the moment we walked in. Everything was so clean and beautifully decorated. We didn’t have even one issue our entire stay. The host kept in constant communication with us just to make sure we were ok and always asking if we needed anything. I HIGHLY recommend this property to others and would definitely stay again.

This location was especially great for location!

We enjoyed our stay with all the amenities you would need even for the beach! Parking was simple and the unit was quiet within. We sat out and had coffee (which as provided) every morning on the front porch. The beds were not our beds at home but we were comfy. John was on top of everything and available anytime something was needed. Thank you!!

Nice location close to downtown, waterfront, Balboa Park and many playgrounds for the grandkids. Was concerned about street parking but turned out to be no problem. Excellent communication with the owner. Will definitely be on the list for future visits.

I grew up in Northampton Massachusetts, a town with countless beautiful old homes and lots of woods. I spent countless days in my youth building tree forts never knowing that those 2 dynamics would intersect at this point. Upon arriving in San Diego with an interest in building and purchasing real estate, I became immediately interested in the largely neglected Victorian buildings in this area of town. This property became a labor of love for me many years ago and I hope that legacy will be carried forward by my 3 sons. My wife if Japanese, so our family often divides our time between 2 very different worlds, both with much to offer.
