We stayed in the upstairs apartment. The apartment was well kept and clean unfortunately, the pool had shut down before our stay. But I could see under the pool cover and it was clean. We would recommend.

House was in a great location and very well maintained. The only thing negative was the people downstairs were very loud pass 11pm but can’t blame the owners for that. Easy check in and check out. Nice stay!

This was a great place to stay! A couple of easy fixes to make it 5 stars. The floors may have been swept, but they were not clean. Walking around barefoot for an evening, our feet were black. The toilet may be KC thing, but it is tiny, and it doesn’t flush well. With only one bathroom, this is pretty important. The deck is nice to have, but it’s pretty rickety. I’d advise shoring it up or replacing it. Other than that, it was great! Nice place, everything works, great location. No major complaints.

New years with friends

We met friends in Kansas City for new years and had a great stay with Lance! The unit was convenient for doing things around the city and had great restaurants and things nearby. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the decor seemed lovingly chosen by the host. Host also checked in regularly in case we needed anything. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We would definately stay here again. Maybe the bottom unit. The stairs were a bit much for an old lady. But noone else had a problem. The location was perfect and closeeveverything we needed

Trip up to kc for a drs visit

We stayed with this host before when we came up to kc about a year ago for a trip to childrens mercy. we had another one today so we decided to book with them again and stayed in their other apartment to check it out since they were attached. Apartment was just as beautifu and as comfortable as the 1st one. Only thing we can complain about is the faint smell of pot from possibly the people who might of stayed there before us. Still give it 5 stars!! Becuase it was homie and very afordable

Comfy bed, mold, noisy and bad neighborhood.

I was surprised by all the positive review so felt like I needed to speak some truth into the property. If your looking for a comfortable bed to sleep, and don’t care about anything else this is the property for you. The property was clean minus the black mold in the shower. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy to the point I found it hard to sleep. It could have been the trains noises, squeaky fan or cars blasting their music that also contributed to my lack of sleep. Positives are comfortable beds, property manager was easy to get ahold of, and it was clean minus the mold.

Ginger I am so sorry your experience was not 5 star like all our other guests. You will be happy to hear I brought the handy man in to fix the clicking of the fan and made sure the shower was deep cleaned. I have to disagree with you on your assessment of the neighborhood. I have lived here for years and the neighborhoods is fully of medical students and health care professionals who work at KU Med center. It's hardly sketchy.

The house was in a great location, very easy to get around the city. The kitchen is well stocked and there was a nice supply of coffee to use. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Some of the furniture has changed from the pictures listed in VRBO but I did get to discuss this with the renter. 4 of us stayed here and we had plenty of room. It definitely has a nice cozy vintage feel. Communication was good with the renter. Would stay here again!

Our Kansas stay!

Perfect home for our little family! We ate at a Pizza place near by called Ariego; yummy food and great service. Starbucks on 39th was very friendly. Property Manager messaged us about having guests on Saturday. We were a little rowdy cheering for football (TCU vs. UT), but we had no guests. They expect you to be quiet by 8:30. Also, the place is spacious, so our two year old was able to get his wiggles out, even though they expect you to be quiet for the unit on the first floor. Overall, a great fit for our family.
