Nice condo in a great part of Hawaii. Easy to access, the pool for the kids was great, the privacy of the deck was awesome, and it was a breeze to get to other parts of the island and back to the airport.

Awesome rental

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at this lovely rental. The place had all the amenities we were looking for and was within walking distance of a grocery store, coffee, restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Lavaman Retreat

Excellent facility overall. Clean, nice place with beautiful view of the golf course. From the listing it looked like the pool was right outside the door, but it was a short walk from the unit on the opposite side of the street. I would add more details in the listing about the unit. Explain that it is a 3rd floor unit, but there is an elevator, and explain where the pool is in relation. The drains in the sink and bathtub shower were slightly clogged and slow to drain in the hallway bathroom. Snorkel gear was also unusable—missing parts and broken equipment. My time at the property was wonderful and I would definitely go back to the same unit. Having a code to get in the front door would have been a lot easier than a key in a lockbox.

The condo was well stocked with beach accessories and enough kitchen supplies to make cooking easy without a lot of extra purchases. We will come back here time and time again.

Waikoloa Beach Villas

This was our first time we have stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. We were very pleased with the villa “O33”. Communication with Hawai’i Life Vacations Management and their on island Property Manager Lisa was fantastic! Very quick to respond to all of your questions or needs. The cleanliness of the unit and the ambiance of the entire property was amazing! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to cook your meals. There is an extensive DVD collection, plenty of board games and an extensive library for your beach reads! The garage is well stocked with beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach sand toys and a beach wagon to carry your things. The pool and work out room are a mere 50 steps away from your front door! The shopping area directly across the road is very convenient. When we return to the Big Island, we will definitely be staying at the Beach Villas again. Mahalo!

Great, but…

We’ve stayed at 4 different properties in the waikoloa beach villas over the past 6 years. Although overall this condo was nice, some of the negative issues made it the least desirable of all of the properties. Cons: The carpet needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. We had problems getting hot water and sufficient water pressure at times. The ice maker wasn’t working initially. The screen door out to the lanai needs to be repaired. Pros: Lovely layout, good assortment of dishes, pans, starter supply of dish soap and paper products, nice grill on lanai, elevator access to 3rd floor, courteous property manager, nice pools. And, of course, we love the location of Waikoloa Beach Villas - convenient to shopping, restaurants and beaches.

Perfect for our 25th anniversary, relaxing

Overall it was wonderful! Very well stocked in the kitchen. The beds comfortable (master bed has a tiny bump in the middle but otherwise very comfortable) Loved the lanai🌺.. the only suggestion would be to have instructions on how to use the tv and dishwasher. And the WiFi was turned off 2 days before we actually left. Otherwise it was perfect!!

Condo was not cleaned prior to arrival

The condo itself and location is great but the management company was not impressive. Arrived to a condo at 8pm to find not cleaned- beds were u unmade and dirty, towels on bathroom floor, fridge full of food, trash not empty and used tampons in them. Dishwasher did not work. Took hour to get someone to come out to put new bedding and towels on but I had to sleep in uncleaned condo until they came next day to clean for real. Was told they new as of Tuesday it was not cleaned yet it was Saturday. Was told they couldn’t do anything about dishwasher all week while I was there so had to hand wash all dishes all week. If you are coming after me verify this has been fixed or replaced. The condo itself is awesome but owners should consider a different property management company. I have never left a poor review of a rental property until today but sleeping in a condo that someone else used without it being thoroughly cleaned was gross.

We often sat on the balcony watching the golfers and reading. We also bbq'd three times which really saves on restaurants. I enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching the dragonflies.
