Welcome to your Maui Retreat: Mahana 501 boasts gorgeous views of both the tranquil blue Pacific Ocean and the lush West Maui Mountains. There is tasteful antique artwork and custom hand carved pieces by local artists throughout. The lanai has a ceiling fan and additional ambient lighting for extended dining and use. There truly is no better place on the island to enjoy your morning coffee and whale watch from than your private lanai.

This unit was perfect for us. Loved the location. Loved the beach. Loved walking the trail and seeing the vendors. Loved walking to Duke's for lunch/dinner. I had to 'manage' the washer and dryer, not my favorite bur at least they had one. Everything in the complex was well cared for. The grills, the pool, the hot tub. I would stay here again.

The location is premiere! Within walking distance for reasonable groceries and restaurants. Parking lot is big - lots of spaces. The property is so close to all resorts yet felt very private. Morning runs and walks on the boardwalk were convenient and beautiful. Great kitchen - we cooked in a lot. Window-balcony-the view!! The elevator was fast. It was amazing to walk right off the lawn to the beach. Hoping to return…soon!

Great place to stay

This is our 4th time to Maui and our 2nd time with a vrbo. Aston Mahana #501 was beautiful and spotlessly clean with breathtaking views!! There were 3 of us and it never felt crowded. Ample kitchen supplies and closet space.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this amazing condo. The pictures are spot on. The view is to die for. The condo was supplied with everything that we needed and more. It was super clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

A corner unit, views of the pool, pacific and neighboring islands. We saw dolphins and turtles from the patio. The apartment was clean and well appointed. I’d love to come back!

Perfect View - Great location

This was our fourth trip to the island and this was by far the best view we've ever had. Friends stayed in a similar-priced resort room at Kaanapali and they were envious of our view and the quieter pace of life at our pool. Small beachfront, but low population so not crowded. Unit was as represented a perfect space for traveling as a family with two teenagers.

What I liked:-beautiful direct views of the beach from the living interior area and the balcony-great furnishings and decoration-well stocked with kitchen cookware, serving ware, and utensils-in unit washer/dryer-clean interior-grill and pool/hot tub were great amenitiesWhat I didn’t like: -no warning that the AC was not working properly; even with the shades down the apartment was at 80 degrees; not great with a baby; the building sent notice that repairs would take place the day of our departure-only given 4 dishwasher pods for a seven night stay (it won’t kill you to just keep a box of dishwasher detergent under the sink like most short term rentals); ultimately the property manager sent more, but only after having to beg for them-balcony was covered in sand, had to sweep and wash off the balcony myself-guest room ac smells like mildew

Great Condo with the Perfect View

This was our fourth time coming back to Maui and we’ve stayed at different places each time. I must say this condo was very nice and the view was amazing!!! From the windows. We saw turtles looking out in the morning at the ocean. The condo was clean and great access to the beach which you can walk both directions down the beach. I loved at night sleeping with the door open and hearinf the waves crash in. The lania was awesome too. We would recommend this place to stay and close to many things

Stunning Views

We really enjoyed our time staying here with such amazing views! The unit is nice but could use some updates like carpet, paint. We had trouble with the dishwasher and it took two separate visits to get it fixed (on our last day). A few small annoyances like the bathroom sink doesn't drain very well, garbage disposal button gets stuck and only ceiling fan in dining area was replaced during our visit. We stayed six nights and would stay at this unit again.

Maui July 2024

Great location beautiful views. Unit was comfortable. Dishwasher does not clean . Both bathrooms need work. Showers have mold. Toilets are so low and old. Kitchen faucet doesn’t turn off you have to play with it to stop. Master faucet has a leak.

Overall, a great location and stay. Only two things I would recommend. First, leave the AC ON and the window shades down so when your guests arrive it’s not 80 degrees in the living room. It’s not a good first impression to be so hot and it took several hours to cool the place down once it was so hot. Second, update the washer and dryer. I felt bad for using them honestly because I felt like they were so loud the guests below us could hear them.

Aloha Kara, Yes I agree. They usually do have the shades drawn and the AC on. My apologizes. We did act as quickly as possible to get the repairman out when you notified us of the noise, however you called us on the 4th of July. We had the repairman out the next day. We do try to act as quickly as possible but durning your 3 day stay I do hope you enjoyed yourself. Warm Aloha!
