Viene da una completa riabilitazione e combina delicatamente il fascino del vecchio e del contemporaneo.

Beautiful home near Honfleur

Everything was as advertised. Great location and very accommodating hosts. We were very pleased with our 3 night stay with our family of 4. I would highly recommend this place.

The cottage has been a refurbished barn, and completed to the highest standard. Cleanliness equalled the standard, and everything that you would require is supplied. It is set in a huge well maintained garden where you can sit and relax after a day sightseeing.

Well appointed home.

Very comfortable 2 bedrooms with modern high end furnishings. Huge garden area. Quiet village just outside Honfleur. Single level was ideal for our limited mobility parent. Excellent welcome and communication by hosts. We loved it!

Superb holiday

Thank you Élisabeth and Jean-Yves for being such wonderful hosts and agreeing to accept our large dog. The house was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The garden is huge and was completely safe for the dog as it is fully enclosed. The location is excellent as it is within close proximity to so many beautiful French towns. I would highly recommend booking this lovely property

Lovely place and very comfortable, well equiped the only think I found was the walk in wardrobe was used for storage with a few hangers, thought it would be nice to have it for hang and clothes. Oweners very helpfull and lovely people

We could not have been made more welcome by Jean and Elisabeth and the property certainly was a great spot for our holiday, clean and well equipped and presented.The property was described in VRBO site as having two bathrooms, both with Toilet. This was incorrect as neither bathroom had a toilet and the property only had one toilet, separate from both bathrooms, which opened onto the sitting area. In this unsatisfactory respect we felt we were misled by VRBO.For the whole of our two week stay contractors were working immediately outside the property. This had a significant effect on our break as we required to plan our trips out around the ability of the contractor to allow us to leave. Indeed on two days we were only able to leave by parking our car in the village car park. The construction also created a considerable amount of dust and noise, particularly early in the morning.For most of our visit we required to use an alternative road to access the property. In my opinion the road was not suitable for safe transportIn addition the contractors damaged the WIFi cable resulting in Jean and Elisabeth having to provide a temporary solution at considerable effort from them, much appreciatedThese issues also impacted us in other matters. We found the Local shop to be poorly stocked with fresh produce. The restrictions on access made it more difficult to obtain fresh goods, particularly bakery goodsHowever we did not allow these matters to spoil our visit

We're pleased to note that you appreciated our welcome.as well as our cottage. It' our major target (Elisabeth and myself). Unfortunately ,your stay was disturbed by road works and specially renovation of waste waters collection systems in front of our cottage and that created several issues (noise,impossible to park your car near the cottage during 2 days and Internet system scratched) We deeply apologize and we did our best to find alternatives. But we 're not able to postpone these works which were under control of municipality.

A wonderful find!

This is a little gem. We loved this place. The wrap around garden was such a lovely spot for the dog and children to play. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is only a few minutes drive away from Honfleur which is a beautiful town with an amazing market. The hosts of this property are superb. We had a problem with our car when we were there and they were incredibly supportive and communicated with the garage for us. Would highly recommend this place to all.

Beautiful Cottage near Honfleur

The cottage is a perfect size, beautifully furnished and decorated and has been the best equipped holiday home we ever stayed at (the kitchen for example has everything you could need). The bed was extremely comfortable, too, with lovely bedding - we slept so well!We booked this place because we wanted to be away from the loud fireworks with our old dog who gets frightened, and we were not disappointed - we had a wonderful quiet and relaxing time here.The garden is very large and well kept, you can close the gate and then it is safe to let your dog run and play. The owners of the cottage were very friendly and very welcoming. They showed us everything on arrival, and checked in with us during our stay to ensure we were happy and to answers any questions we might have. We felt very well looked after.We loved the area for dog walks. Honfleur with its picturesque little streets and shops and Le Havre are only a short drive away. You can also easily drive to larger cities such as Rouen and Caen to spend the day.Overall, this was a wonderful holiday and we highly recommend staying here. We cannot thank Elisabeth and Jean-Yves enough for being such wonderful hosts. We will definitely come back again in future.

I want to buy it!

This cottage is simply the best. Easy to find. The owners Jean Yves and Elisabeth are lovely. They speak good English and meet you on arrival/checking out. We stayed in contact with them during our stay as well. The cottage is so clean. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely sympathetically restored barn with oak beams (and not a cobweb in sight!!). The garden is very large and had a remote automatic lawnmower which kept our little girl entertained like a pet! Apple trees also in the garden. Lots of parking for 2/3 cars secured with a gate. Table and chairs outside for dining. Very quiet location as no noise from roads, neighbours or dogs! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything including dishwasher and washing machine in a utility room. Bathroom towels and kitchen tea towel/kitchen scourer supplied. Beds are super comfy. Lots of choice of pillows. There’s blinds on the windows as most French houses have. Both large bedrooms have their own large bathrooms and there’s one toilet in between to share (take toilet paper). Comfy sofas in lounge with TV and very good wifi. Location is great for Normandy. Do visit Honfleur. Deauville beach and promenade is nice. You can hire the famous parasol there. Cabourg beach also nice and has a great miniature golf course. There is a pizzeria and a convenience store in the village two mins walk from the cottage. Larger supermarkets in Honfleur. We have rented many French cottages and this one has been the best. I want to buy it!

Ons verblijf in deze cottage is ons heel goed bevallen. We voelden ons meteen thuis in dit compleet ingerichte huisje. Aan alles is gedacht door Elisabeth en Jean-Yves, de hartelijke eigenaars.Rondom het huis is een heel grote tuin met heerlijk zacht gras en er staat een heel grote boomwaar we lekker in de schaduw konden zitten (toen wij er verbleven was het heel warm).Honfleur is dichtbij, leuk om te bezoeken. Het strand bij Deauville aan de Côte Fleurie is ook een aanrader, de terrassen aan de prachtige boulevard hebben heerlijke strandbedden met parasols te huur. Kortom, een fijne plek om in Normandië te verblijven.

Wir haben dort einen wunderbaren Urlaub genossen. Das Haus ist von einem sehr großen Garten umgeben und großzügig, luxuriös und praktisch eingerichtet.Wir danken Elisabeth und Jean-Yves für Ihre liebenswürdige Gastfreundschaft.Nach einer Autopanne haben sie uns enorm geholfen, damit wir unseren Urlaub fortsetzen und genießen konnten!!!

Sehr schönes Häuschen. Ideal für 4 Personen. Ruhige Lage und ein riesiges Grundstück. Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit.
