Arroccato sopra lo storico Koloa Landing, noto anche come Hanaka'ape Bay, Hale Honu vanta una vista dominante sulla baia e sull'oceano. Appena fuori il tuo lanai privato è alcuni dei migliori snorkeling e immersioni subacquee che l'isola ha da offrire. Le tartarughe marine giganti possono essere viste sotto il nuoto e prendere il sole sulle rocce e durante i mesi invernali è possibile osservare le balene megattere che si infrangono fuori dalla barriera corallina.

Precedentemente noto come Garden Isle Cottages Ocean Front, siamo situati in un tranquillo quartiere costiero immerso nel fogliame tropicale, alberi di banane e plumerie. Due camere da letto e due bagni più aree salotto superiore e inferiore e una cucina full size rendono questa una casa più confortevole. L'arredamento casual dell'isola offre comfort e funzionalità. Le camere da letto superiori e inferiori sono climatizzate e di dimensioni identiche. Con circa 1500 piedi quadrati di superficie abitabile, questa casa è perfetta per una piccola famiglia o due coppie.

Sull'acqua, tranquillo e meraviglioso, Hale Honu è semplicemente una delle migliori offerte in circolazione per le sistemazioni sull'oceano e anche una delle più convenienti in quanto è a soli 5 minuti a piedi da alcuni dei migliori ristoranti e negozi di Poipu a The Shops a Kukui'ula. 2 re, 2 fulls posti letto 4-6

The kitchen has everything you need and there is a fantastic bbq grill as well. The location is incredible with an easy walk to shops, restaurants and beautiful baby beach. Wonderful stay

We loved staying at the perfectly named Hale Honu. The house is beautiful and in a great location. We watched the turtles and enjoyed using the bbq and eating meals outside. There are so many beautiful plants in the gardens and a wonderful view of the river and the ocean. Many beautiful beaches are within walking distance. We would highly recommend a stay at this house!

Those views! Turtle Lovers Dream. Amazing Scuba and snorkeling out the back door!

Words cannot do this place justice! The bed was beyond comfortable. The short walks to baby beach, shopping, dining, Koloa landing just a few minutes away we're amazing and yet we still felt secluded and private. We loved seeing the turtles come in and out of the cove and snorkeling and scuba out in the bay are second to none. We hope to come back again soon!

Very nice house, with a beautiful view

This house is exactly as advertised. Newly remodeled, one bedroom on each floor. Nice views of the bay and a feeding stream with plenty of sea turtles. Nicely decorated and well supplied kitchen. We would rent again.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home.

The house was just perfect with everything you’d need for a great vacation. We loved the location which is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The views are to die for and being able to watch the turtles each day bask in the sun in their sanctuary was incredible. Please respect and protect them . This is one of our all time favorite VRBO properties. We are so grateful for the memories and plan to come back every year.

Amazing house, great location!

My husband and our two adult daughters spent a wonderful week here at Hale Honu. The layout of home worked perfectly for us. The decor is simply beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The views of the ocean and Turtle Cove are spectacular. It’s great being so close to many stores and restaurants as well. We are sad to leave and hope we can return one day soon. Mahalo!!

Hale Honu

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this stay, it was like home away from home. Property is 100% immaculate, no details were sparred. Wonderful neighborhood and easy access to amenities. We utilized the outdoor grill and enjoyed home cook meals most of our stay, all kitchen supplies made this very easy. We definitely recommend and plan to book again in the not to distant future. Thank you for a remarkable stay!

A quiet little pocket yet walkable to everything, beautiful views, responsive host -impeccably clean and well-maintained property. Much better than a resort. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third time renting the house. It is--in my wife's words "tight" which means the house is thoughtfully designed. The location is ideal and to get a better house in this area, you'd have to pay in excess of $1,500 per night.

Perfect Home

As another reviewer mentioned, this house is perfect for two couples, each getting to occupy a separate floor. We didn't know when we booked how close it is to everything on the south shore - great dining and shopping are in walking distance. The house is absolutely stunning, with high quality workmanship throughout and amazing views. We spent every day watching the turtles swim and bask in the sun. When people ask me what my favorite part of Kauai was, I can honestly say this house!

Great Property!!!

Outstanding property in a very good location. The house has been completely redone and is in excellent condition. It is exceptionally clean for a beach environment. The beds are very comfortable. The house is very open and airy with wonderful cross ventilation from many sets of adjustable louvres on the windows in every room along with ceiling fans. We enjoyed not needing to use the A/C during our week long stay in June. The property is very well stocked with amenities and essential supplies. Very responsive, friendly and helpful property manager. We highly recommend this property and Garden Island Properties.

Hard To Say Goodbye

Hale Honu made our family getaway to Kauai a dream! The pictures do not do this house justice. It was a beautiful home and it was hard to say goodbye. We enjoyed morning coffee while watching our new friends, the sea turtles from our patio. The view from both patios was amazing. Evening drinks on the patio was even better. The beds were huge and comfortable., the kitchen was a dream to cook in and the bathrooms had amazing showers with the best water pressure. The A/C in each bedroom made our nights very comfortable. Hale Honu thank you for a wonderful getaway! Until next time!

Don’t look any further….TURTLES TURTLES everywhere!!!

Words can’t do this place justice. 2 parents and 4 teenagers stayed and everyone agreed, it was our amazing stay of all our trips. The house fit our group perfect and there were 2 people per bathroom and 2 im each bedroom. The upstairs has a couch and a futon type bed. It was too small to fit 2 teenagers but one was fine sleeping on the couch. The views are AMAZING!!! You see sunrises, turtles on rocks, turtles swimming, turtles sunbathing. The outdoor space is so nice to eat at, relax at and just chill. We spent a lot of time outdoors. You can snorkel just outside the house down the stairs and baby beach is a 2 minute walk. You can walk to all the stores. The location is perfect to get to everything within 40 minutes. We will absolutely be back!!!! We would highly recommend this stay to anyone. It was absolute perfection!!!

Honu Everywhere

We had a lovely stay at Hale Honu. It has a nice view of the ocean and is well-situated to catch all of the ocean breeze. We threw open all the windows every day and didn't need the AC. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed and had very sharp knives and a nice assortment of spices and necessities, which is always nice. The house itself is very solidly built and everything felt high end and well-designed. I saw one lone turtle on the first day we were there and was quite happy, but every day, we saw more and more! We saw about 22 on a busy day. You can see them best from the second floor balcony. The turtles tend to hang out at the base of the waterfall and on the rocks. One thing worth mentioning is that Koloa Landing is easy to access from the house, but the current was quite strong the entire time we were there. I'm quite experienced and did not find it easy to snorkel there and I observed others snorkel, but also leave shortly after they entered the water. The ocean may be calmer in winter.

Spacious oasis

This was a make-up vacation for the one we had planned during COVID19 lockdowns. We were pleased to find a house for rent when so many rentals are condos. The location was lovely with views of the ocean, turtle cove, and turtles every day. The house is either new or very recently renovated, everything clean and bright. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped, and there were beach accessories for our use. The walk to Baby Beach is 0.3 miles, an easy walk, and the one we preferred because it is more private. Depending on how much you want to walk, there are beaches along this path that are a nice walk. The house location is an easy drive to other beaches and activities throughout the island. We did a helicopter tour, NaPali Coast boat tour with NaPali Pirates, hiked Waimea Canyon, and kayaked to Uluwehi falls, all within less than an hour drive. Our family of 4 worked well here with the parents in the upstairs master, one teen in the downstairs room, and one teen in the upstairs sitting room, sleeping on the daybed. There are 3 full baths so each girl had her own space. We were concerned the upstairs sitting area (not air-conditioned ) might be warm, but the ocean breezes were crisp, and we hardly used AC at all during the stay. The wifi worked well for those of us who still had a few work or school meetings. We were so glad to have a private space during these tenuous times. We enjoyed most meals on the lanai and were glad to have the full kitchen because many restaurants seemed overwhelmed. Hale Honu was terrific! We would stay here again on returns to beautiful Kauai!

Great location. Easy to south, east and west coast activities. I appreciated the host checking on us via text during the stay. Despite my best tech efforts and ability to read, I couldn’t figure out the satellite TV. So I enjoyed sitting on the upper deck listening to the ocean and watching the 10 to 15 turtles swimming and soaking in the sun.

Very comfortable house. We cooked 4 meals in the chef's kitchen, slept like a dream on the very luxurious beds, and enjoyed the lanai overlooking turtle cove. The management company had a lilikoi pie waiting for us in the fridge to thank us for renting with them again! Can't wait for our next stay!

You couldn't ask for a better location with amazing ocean views, 5 minute walk to baby beach and of course turtles basking outside your lanai. The house is super clean, well maintained and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The Garden Island folks were very helpful and we met Joanne the owner who helped us out with a glitch with the gate code. Wonderful people, fantastic stay ! Thank you, we will be back !
