Un giro tortuoso attraverso 5 acri di flora tropicale, grandi querce ricoperte di muschio spagnolo e il suono rilassante dell'acqua che cade in uno stagno alimentato a molla sono alcune delle prime impressioni di questo magico luogo della "Vecchia Florida" in via di estinzione. La casa ricorda una casa di una piantagione coloniale francese, splendidamente arredata con mobili in rattan e Tommy Bahama. Una piscina e una rilassante Jacuzzi sono rinfrescanti quanto la natura che ti circonda. Termina la giornata nuotando con i delicati lamantini nelle sorgenti del fiume Crystal…. Oppure potresti voler trascorrere la giornata nelle vicine spiagge del Golfo o pescare nei numerosi corsi d'acqua. Questa zona è appropriatamente denominata "La costa della natura" per i numerosi incontri con la natura che fornisce. Un sacco di giardini di fiori e felci sono sulla proprietà e agrumi in stagione. L'abbondante pesce fresco è un pilastro qui, o catturato da te o in uno dei tanti ristoranti raffinati. Rilassati la sera seduto sulla veranda e ascoltando i suoni tropicali della natura ... immagina di essere nel posto più esotico del mondo.

This was the perfect place to stay during our time in Crystal River. Excellent communication from the host, and everything we needed (and more) was available on premises. The screened in pool, hot tub and porch was a wonderful place to relax. The location is private yet convenient to restaurants, shops and activities. It was difficult to leave such a beautiful place!

House is a beauty. Communication with host was excellent. The hot tub was very appreciated and used often during our stay since the weather was cool. We didn't use the pool.

This is a great place to stay. Well appointed, had everything we needed. Host was very responsive to all of our questions. Loved starting out each morning with coffee on the screened deck and finishing each evening on the deck in the hot tub! Rooms were spacious and linens were nice. Our only downside feedback we would offer, is the kitchen can be quite dark in the evening when cooking. The light doesn’t work above the stove, so your back is to the lighting. Brighter bulbs in kitchen would be better.We loved our stay.Thank you

Beautiful Get away

The property was beautiful! It was far away from others but still close to everything. The house was beautiful. We loved the pool and the hot tub. We are hoping to stay there again next summer!

Great for a relaxing weekend

Great house! So clean and quaint. Attention to detail was wonderful. Incredibly full kitchen, plenty of towels, plates, soap, etc. Very close to the docks. Great screened porch and quiet atmosphere. Fans work great and so does the air con! Hostess was super helpful and kind. We’ll be returning!

Weekend Getaway

We are Floridians, but this was our first time in Crystal River. We were looking for a place to get away, disconnect from the hustle and bustle. This property accomplished that. Its so peaceful being in the middle of 5 acres. You hear frogs and crickets more than anything else. The waterfall on the pond is awesome to listen to in the morning as you're taking in the quiet start to the day on the patio. The home is spacious and well appointed. Its the best of both worlds - old Florida with all the modern conveinences you need. Maria, the property manager, was fantastic! She was easy to communicate with and made sure we had whatever we needed. Check-in and check-out was super easy.Definitely keeping this location on our list of "must visit again" places. We loved the home and the area. Wonderful weekend getaway!!

A little piece of paradise

Family trip to enjoy fun in the sun, including downtime at the house as well as outings to hike, see manatees, visit beaches and more. Great for up to three couples or a family trip. Clean, spacious place with updated amenities but an “old Florida” feel. We highly recommend it!

Paradise

The home was gorgeous and well appointed. The trees, pond, and plants around the property made it feel like a tropical paradise. The waterfall sealed the deal. The pool was so nice and cold and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing.

Amazing!

Just as wonderful as the first time! We loved every bit of our stay. One suggestion would be to stock some card and board games. We had to run back out to purchase our own set. Also, please make sure you bring bug spray. There’s enough mosquitos to carry you away outside the screened area. Can’t wait to return!

Gorgeous, Comfortable Home Away from Home

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this super comfortable home. The grounds are just beautiful. The hot tub and pool inside the screened enclosure were my favorite aspects of this home away from home.

Peace at its best

We spent 3 days here and its was amazing. The place is beautiful and you are away from all the noise and craziness of the city. Maria is the caretaker and lives inside but you never see her after checking in. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely beautiful property, inside and out. Got a quick tour as we arrived. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. I loved the outside couch relaxing with a coffee listening to the waterfall.

Great stay!

We loved our stay! Our girls loved fishing in the pond as well as swimming in the pool and hot tub! The property was so cool and we literally felt like we were away from everything. The kitchen was well stocked! We enjoyed the springs nearby and grilling out our fresh catch from our fishing trip. Would return if we are ever back in the area. Maria was also super helpful and always available if we needed her.

Great Place

Beautiful place on a large lot. No like the "cookie cutter " houses we usually rent that are all the same. This one was unique. Less than 10 minutes to a beautiful beach. Maria the host was extremely helpful, there when we arrived and when we needed something she was there in minutes !!

Fantastic Property and Host

I recently booked this property for a work trip, and we had a great experience from start to finish. Maria was so helpful and welcoming, she even had baked treats for us when we arrived. The property is one of the more unique ones I have stayed at, and was a great home base to come back to every night. We will be staying here if we are back in the area in the future!

Peaceful Retreat

Lovely and unique property. Best of old Florida. We loved the porch looking out on the pond and waterfall for our morning coffee. Very comfortable beds and furniture. High end kitchen gear - obviously not furnished as a rental. Close to many of Floridas natural clear springs. I would happily return and can recommend without reservation.

We found this property one night on the internet and were amazed at its beauty. We immediately drove across the state the next day, made a cash offer and bought it. We love it so much we want to share it with others who have an appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds this property.
