Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry that the apartment did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the temperature and ventilation. The apartment has been rented since 2015 and, over the years, we have not received previous comments regarding excessive heat. Air conditioning is not listed as an amenity in the Airbnb description, as the apartment is a traditional property in the heart of Alfama, where some bedrooms are located without exterior windows, which is characteristic of many homes in this historic neighborhood. We are also sorry to hear about your concerns regarding humidity and insects. These are certainly not conditions we want our guests to experience, and we will review these points carefully with our team. Regarding your communication with us, we regret that you felt your concerns were not taken seriously. This was certainly not our intention, and we are sorry that our response came across that way. Thank you again for your feedback, which gives us the opportunity to review these aspects and improve our guests' experience.

It was a pleasure to host you. Thank you for having chosen our appartment and taking care of it as it was yours. The organisation of the apartment with rooms without windows is typical in this old area of Lisbon. This why we had installed forced mechanical ventilation to facilitate the circulation of the air in these 2 bedrooms.
