Great family get away….

This house was perfect for our large family! It was close to lifts and was accommodating for all our needs. The property mangers were so helpful!

There wasn’t enough household supply’s for the week. There was only two garbage bags and no dish soap at all. The house was also dusty as if the house never gets dusted. Other than that the house was good.

Cozy house

It was a nice house had plenty of room the pictures did make the room seem a little bit bigger than they really were but overall it was a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and clean. Also enough parking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent place to stay...house is huge and way bigger than what we needed but for the price we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The downstairs was perfect for the kids. The house was very clean. The front door had a loose door knob and if I would have had a screwdriver I could have fixed it in a couple of mins but the resort office was notified and stated they would take care of it. I always use sugar mountain resort and real estate and they have been great every year. I highly recommend them for any trip to the area!

Perfect Ski Slope Retreat!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was perfect for our group as it put us right on the slopes of Sugar Mountain quickly. The stay was incredibly comfortable and the well stocked kitchen made meals easy! If you're curious if the kitchen has something, the answer is that it probably does! The roads leading up to the cabin were in great shape even with snow falling the day that we arrived. The management was very well communicative with any questions and sent incredibly detailed instructions. Bear in mind that you will need to stop by the office, but it's 1/2 a mile away or something like that. It's located just off a main road in Sugar Mountain, but it was incredibly quiet and felt like we were miles from noise. Overall, great experience! If you're looking for a "luxury stay" this cabin probably doesn't fit that bill, but for comfortable and cozy, absolutely!

2nd time at this cabin and a little disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose to stay at this cabin again after having a great experience last winter. We arrived after a long drive and had to immediately bathe my child due to car sickness. I went to run a bath and saw the tub was filthy. I had to stop and scrub the tub before I put her in it. Then went to the kitchen and noticed the majority of the dishes were greesy with streak all over. I checked the dish washer to find it full with standing, disgusting water in it... Ran it 3 times with no luck so we had to wash all the dishes before use and was unable to use the dishwasher. Also there was a broken kitchen table chair that was also broken last year. We ended up repairing the chair and dishwasher by the end of the trip on our own.

Good for big families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I like that this house has lots of rooms and it's close to Sugar Mountain ski resort. The house had plenty of cups and plates. It was missing baking dishes or cookies sheets though. That would've been helpful. Overall, it was much more beautiful in person than in pictures. The reason why it doesn't deserve the 5 stars is because of the property's general condition. The fuse went out when I was using my air fryer and their microwave at the same time. There weren't many outlets in the kitchen. Next, the water in one of the bathrooms had a weird white color, it looked like milk, so we did not use that bathroom water. Also, the water wasn't hot enough. The first people had warm shower but whoever is third and after has to shower in cold water. When we first went in, we couldn't turn on any of the lights. Turns out that there was a switch that says "Leave On" was turned off. I think having instructions would be helpful.

Nice cabin but no central heat/ac

Close to the resort,easy check in but this place has no central heating system.it has radiator heaters all over the place.it had one in our baby room and it was hard to keep up good temperature.when you turn in on it burning hot and hard to breath but if you turn it off it gets cold very quick ..

Perfect for a large family

This place was perfect for our large family. Plenty of sleeping space, 2 living room areas. It was nice having the basement living area for the grandkids to play games when it was raining.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout of this house could not be better! We all needed a trip away. While my husband and I have a toddler, the rest of the group (his co-workers have to see daily anyways) do not. Imagine my happiness that there was a big bedroom downstairs with two beds. So we were able to sleep down there and everyone else had their own bed upstairs. That way if our daughter woke in the middle of the night or early morning, we didn't disturb our group. I am already knowing we are going to be looking to get this cabin again next year.

Aside from an 8 inch thick sheet of ice on the driveway, this was a great property. It fit our friends and family well. We would definitely stay there again!

nice big house near Sugar mountain

spacious house in good location, got a bear theme going, well equipped kitchen and large dining table are good for families, lots of sleeping space and convenient for skiing, new appliances, cabin/rustic decor, large level driveway made it possible to get our cars in and out in the snow, negatives include: carpet is getting old and a little musty in the basement, futon in the basement is broken and not suitable for sleeping (so subtract 1 or 2 from the sleeping capacity) hot water only lasts for maybe 2 showers and then takes a really long time to completely heat back up, you should know that technically you are supposed to have 4 wheel drive or chains to get to this property in the snow (we had to abandon our stuck car one night and walk a mile in the snow with our kids and ski boots) but despite these criticisms we had an awesome time!
