Lovely relaxing break

A delightful place to stay in tranquil Charlottenlund. Lots of space with a clear eye for design, well equipped kitchen if you want to cook and a friendly property manager. What more could you ask for.

Great host. Easy and fast communication. Property was great for our needs and family of 4.We had plans in Hellerup so the area was ideal for us but also a short easy drive into downtown.

Beautiful holiday apartment

We immediately felt comfortable in the beautiful holiday apartment. We had plenty of space and especially the dining and living area invited us to linger. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time and we'll definitely be back.

Super accommodation

Lovely characterful accommodation with masses of space for the four of us. Charlottenlund is quiet with a lovely beach nearby. It’s very quick into Copenhagen on the train and yet in Charlottenlund you feel a million miles away. Not exactly a place for people looking for the nightlife but a superb place for a family looking to travel around and come back to a super house. Host was very helpful and kind.

Copenhagen and this apartment is really wonderful

We stayed here with two teenagers who had their own room and us - the old ones - enjoyed the huge master bedroom. The apartments is unique. Very tastefully, very clean and very well organized. Charlottenlund station is 5 minutes away and the train takes you to central Copenhagen (Nyhavn, the Town hall etc) in just 11 minutes. We loved it - thanks to Eva for perfect communication all the way.

Spacious apartment with character

We had an enjoyable week's stay in June. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the railway into Copenhagen centre. There is a range of shops near the station. Also Charlottenlund forest, castle and beach within a 10-20 minute walk. The apartment is on the first, second and third floors - within another residence below. The apartment was well stocked and equipped - though it took us a while to get used to how things were organised. The 3 bedrooms were spacious but blinds or curtains at the windows of bedrooms 2 and 3 would have been useful because of the long summer days and the heat of the sun. The weather was great! The 2 bathrooms were very smart - though one was on the first floor next to the living area rather than the bedrooms. There was a decent size balcony off the kitchen/living rooms though it is in shade for much of the day. There is a shared garden area below but we didn't use it because it was down a long flight of stairs, and also there were builders working in the downstairs property through the week. Eva, the owner, was generous and helpful but some user information in the property would have been useful to us. An enjoyable week though. Recommended, and further tweaks and attention to detail will make it even better.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und es ist ausreichend Platz für 5 Personen. Gerade die 2 Bäder sind da Gold wert. Worauf man sich einstellen muss, ist die Verwendung der Küchenutensilien, wie bspw. Silberlöffel und Messer mit Holzgriffen. Die Sachen müssen eben von Hand abgewaschen werden, verleihen der Wohnung aber so ihren ganz eigenen charmanten Charakter. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls zur Nutzung vorhanden. Man findet immer einen Parkplatz vor der Tür. Insgesamt haben wir es sehr genossen.

Best part of Copenhagen, superb apartment

We loved it! Staying in this beautiful apartment with an interior coming right out of a magazine - and at te same time giving you a feeling of being in a real home wit a personal style. Charlottenlund is 10 minutes from central Copenhagen - we actually biked there - but we also loved being so close to the woods and the sea. Ideal for adults and teenagers.

Modernes Haus in toller Lage

Wir sind gerade aus Evas schönem Haus in Hellerup/ Kopenhagen zurück gekommen. Für unsere Sylvesterferien konnten wir uns keinen schöneren Ort wünschen. Als Familie zu sechst, Eltern mit 4 erwachsenen Kindern war dieses großzügige Haus perfekt: Supersauber, sehr stylisch, aber auch familiär eingerichtet mit einer riesigen Küche, in der es allen Spaß gemacht hat zu kochen, jede Menge Geschirr - das auch für ein "4 Gang Sylvester Menü" gereicht hat. Wir sind in dieser Zeit daher nur einmal zum Essen gewesen. Die Schlafzimmer sind großzügig, die Badezimmer könnten ein bisschen mehr Komfort vertragen, aber Waschmaschine und Trockner sind perfekt. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr schönen Wohnviertel, sehr ruhig - Kopenhagen oder Helsingör sind mit dem Zug leicht zu erreichen, man braucht vorort kein Auto. Selbst der Supermarkt, Fleischer und alle anderen Geschäfte, Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Auch der Weg zum Wald oder Strand ist fußläufig. Zu einer anderen Jahreszeit bestimmt toll für Radfahrer oder Jogger.... Der Kontakt mit Eva war unkompliziert und wir haben uns über gemachte Betten und den Wein als Willkommensgruß sehr gefreut.
