Lovely property in beautiful location

Beautiful well equipped property close to Amboise and many Chateaux of the Loire Valley. The heated swimming pool was a bonus too. Caroline and Jean-Louis were great hosts. We would definitely return.

Beautiful, typical French gite located deep within the Amboise forest, surrounded by nature and peaceful calm. 5 mins drive from Amboise, a historical and bustling small town steeped in Loire charm and character. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. The owners are kind and welcoming; they became our extended family, and we look forward to our return in a few months.

Super stay in the middle of the Amboise forest. The gite is better than the photos (we think). It's bigger, all on the ground floor, lots of space, private garden with sun loungers. The swimming pool was super clean, very well maintained and a perfect temp. Caroline was very welcoming and friendly.

We had an lovely week in the dog friendly gite at Marcheroux. The location was fabulous and the gite had everything we needed. Caroline was a great host and our dog Bailey played happily with her cute little puppy. Amboise is a lovely town and we enjoyed sampling the restaurants Caroline recommended. Die Unterkunft war sauber und wie im Portal beschrieben. Die Übergabe war reibungslos, obwohl wir kein französisch sprechen. Mit Händen und Füßen und Übersetzer hat alles geklappt. Caroline hat alles erklärt und gezeigt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind im Apartment nicht inklusive. Das wussen wir aber und Caroline hat uns alles gg. Entgelt zur Verfügung gestellt. Im Bad hätten wir uns mehr Ablage z. B. ein Regal und auch in der Dusche ein Regal für Duschzeug gewünscht. An den Fenstern wären Fliegengitter wünschenswert, da in dem Grün an der Hauswand viele Insekten sind und man die Fenster auch nicht kippen, sondern nur ganz öffnen kann. Ebenso für Abends wenn Licht brennt, sonst hat man das ganze Mückenvieh im Zimmer. Am Pool würde noch eine Dusche fehlen um sich abzuduschen bevor man in den Pool geht. Ansonsten haben wir uns dort wohl gefühlt. Caroline gibt auch gerne Tipps zu Amboise. Sie vermietet auch Zimmer mit Frühstück. Man ist uch schnell in Amboise und auch der nächste Supermarkt ist nicht weit entfernt ebenso ein Lidl. Wir können Marcheraux weiter empfehlen.

Nous avons passé de tres bonnes vacances dans le gite de Caroline.Au vu de la canicule, la fraîcheur du gite et l'environnement forestier ont ete plus qu'appreciables.Gite tres propre, beneficiant de toutes les commodités.

Gite conforme à la description. Propre et tranquille sans vis à vis et agréable surtout quand il fait chaud car reste frais. Piscine en plus pour un moment de détente.

leuke gite midden in bos

Weer ( voor derde keer)een fijne week gehad in de gite. ( leuk huisje, mooi zwembad, erg rustig) Deze is mooi gelegen in het bos, maar Amboise is zo bereikbaar. Mooie omgeving, van alles te doen.

Rien à redire sur le gîte. Calme et propreté au top. Avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine car semaine très chaude. Pas trop de kilomètres pour rayonner dans la région. Propriétaires très sympas et très disponibles. Venez sans hésiter

Schöner Urlaub, schöne Gegend

Empfang und Kommunikation waren sehr nett. Wohnung liegt im Wald, Amboise in etwa 5 km Entfernung, gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Aktivitäten gab es von den Vermietern. Schön war auch der Pool, den wir bei der Hitze besonders genossen haben. Die Wohnung entsprach weitestgehend den Angaben und Fotos.

naturnahe Ferinwohnung in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir haben im Juni 2018 1 Woche in der schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht und haben besonders die Natur und die gut ausgestattet Wohnung genossen. Viele Loire-Schlösser ließen sich von hier aus besichtigen. Für diesen Zweck eine ideale Ferienwohnung.

wonderful stay "au coeur de la foret"

We had a wonderful stay at the gite in Marcheroux. The gite is located amidst a forest, which is absolutely magical. The whole property is very pretty, surrounded by trees and lush greenery. The gite itself looks exactly like on the website and even better.It is very nicely designed and decorated. It has a spacious living room and open plan kitchen with a dining area.The bedrooms are comfortable, and they even have a small utility room where one can store the luggage. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking and dining, and there is a barbecue in the back yard. There is also garden furniture outside. The location is very central and great for visiting the Chateaux de la Loire. The owners are really nice people, they welcomed us cordially ,gave us information about the area and were always available for us. If we ever get back to the area, we would definitely stay again, and I highly recommend staying at this gite.

Ferienhaus für einen entspannten Urlaub

Die Angaben treffen genau zu. Ein gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, sehr sauber, mitten im Wald gelegen. Natur pur. Zusätzlich zum Ferienhaus gibt es nebenan noch B&B Zimmer. Zentral gelegen für Besuche einiger Loire-Schlösser, Radwege (u.a. Loire-Radweg) sind schnell erreichbar. Die Fahrräder können geschützt untergestellt werden. WLan funktioniert problemlos. Großer Supermarkt ca. 3 km entfernt. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen.
