Christine, it sounds like despite a few inconveniences, you had a great ski weekend with your family! The location of our Soaring Eagle condo and amenities like ski in/out access and the shuttle service I am sure added to the convenience of this location. It's unfortunate about the noise from the unit above and the issue with the door to your deck, but I'm glad it didn't detract too much from your overall enjoyment. I apologize for inconveniences caused by the fire place during your stay. We try to respond and repair/fix all issues that occur while our guest are in house. I am sorry that we weren't able to repair the fireplace durning you stay. -Linda

Our housekeeping staff is cleaning and sanitizing each property between guest arrivals using the standards and products suggested by the CDC and the VRMA. We're the leading vacation rental company at the resort with 50+ ski in/ski out properties, all of which can be booked on VRBO and Homeaway. We're delighted to have guests like Cathy who detected and pointed out several minor shortcomings in the condition of her rental unit. Those insights help us focus our housekeeping teams better and create exceptional overall results for our guests. I will point out for all renters that dishwashers often contain some kitchenware which is freshly clean and dry. They should expect that. It simply means the prior guest left items to be washed, and housekeeping put them in the dishwasher and started it. Modern dishwasher cycles of over 2 hours exceed the time it takes a housekeeping team to re-set a property. As a result, housekeepers have moved on to other properties while the dishwasher is still washing and drying. Clean dishes are a good thing !
