Caratteristico cottage di pescatori di 120 anni sulla riva del fiume Strule lungo una stradina tranquilla nel villaggio di Newtownstewart con vista panoramica sui monti Sperrin. Mantiene il layout e le caratteristiche originali pur essendo aggiornato ai moderni standard che includono il riscaldamento a gasolio e una stufa a legna. Cucina completamente funzionante e ampio bagno con vasca e doccia. Open space soggiorno e sala da pranzo. Due camere da letto al piano superiore. La camera più grande contiene letto matrimoniale e letto singolo e l'altra camera da letto contiene due letti singoli. Entrambe le camere sono mansardate ai vecchi tempi con soffitti inclinati. Letto pieghevole aggiuntivo disponibile su richiesta. Area pic-nic chiusa in pietra a lato del cottage. Ambiente tranquillo con vista sul fiume con gradini che conducono alla piscina per salmoni. Pesca non adatta ai bambini in quanto si tratta di una sponda ripida rocciosa. Biglietti giornalieri disponibili nelle acque locali del club per adulti e bambini. Maneggi a Omagh. Parcheggio privato a lato del cottage. Il riscaldamento centralizzato di 3/4 ore è incluso nel prezzo (dipende dalla stagione) Il riscaldamento aggiuntivo è disponibile per £ 1 l'ora. Due minuti a piedi dal villaggio che porta su una bella passeggiata lungo il fiume. . Vicino a hotel e ristoranti locali e situato in posizione ideale per esplorare gli Sperrins. Siamo spiacenti ma non c'è wifi disponibile in cottage.

Lovely little cottage, so cozy and quaint, picturesque view of the river and great decked area to sit and enjoy the view, the wood burner works well and gives good heat while also adding to the cozy atmosphere.

Perfect little cottage for a nice break away. Close to local amenities, lovely view of the river. Cottage is clean and well equipped with the essentials. Hosts are lovely.

Lovely Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is on a tiny road that can be easily missed first time getting to - but makes for a really quiet setting. The cottage was just as pictured and there's a large field on the other side of the river which made for nice walks (the bridge is just a 15 minute walk away)

Roomy, quaint cottage with lovely river view

Spacious old cottage, with dog-friendly enclosed spaces outside and a lovely view over the river. Remarkably we saw an otter on the riverbank.. Newtonstewart is a good central location for travelling. It has a good butcher, takeaways and mini-supermarkets. We enjoyed Sunday lunch in the dog-friendly bar at The Mellon, on the road to Omagh.

Comfortable stay

Was disappointed in the condition of the yard. The grass was so tall in the back they we could not enjoy sitting outside. The house feels as though it is located in an alley. The beds were very comfortable:)

Lovely stay

Great location, a short walk into town and nice views of the river. I had to work so really appreciated the reliable wifi, very warm and cosy. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to use the patio. Beware low doorways and bedroom ceilings if you're tall, not a problem for me and my partner has just about regained consciousness from all his head banging!

Nature's paradise

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Very comfortable and relaxing setting. Loved every moment. Easy to find, yet tucked away so nice and quiet and very private. Had everything needed, and everything worked well. Loved the big bathroom, brilliant shower and great deep bath Owner was very pleasant and welcoming, which was perfect, and the local people were friendly and helpful. We will return again soon. Many thanks for a lovely stay

Great stay

Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is beautiful, very comfortable. Beds are amazing, great couple of nights sleep for everyone. Shower is great, greay power. Kitchen was bigger than I thought it would be amd view out kitchen window stunning. Being able to connect netflix and prime was a bonus. Safe parking to side of property, big enough for 2 large cars. Great chippy in the town, just 5 min walk. Really enjoyed it.

This is a cute little cottage, tucked out of the way with a lively river view. It could use a little updating, but everything works just fine. One major issue: Google Maps is not accurate, and led us to a closed-down retirement home. Luckily for us a local gentleman happened by and not only told us that this happens often but also led us to the cottage. I don't know how to notify Google or get it updated, but that would be a huge improvement.

Staying at the Hallows Cottage.

We had trouble finding the address, as that quoted did not exist on the map. We parked and walked about, found the pretty little cottage and the better entry. Fine. The cottage is a lovely old two bedroom cottage located on a quiet and private road above the river. It is a walk into the main street for food and entertainment. The kitchen was functional. The bathroom was luxurious. The outdoor setting overlooked the river and the countryside A good base to travel about theSperri s and central Ireland / Northern Ireland.

Cute and cosy

This lovely little cottage is an ideal location for exploring the Sperrins Scenic Routes, of which there are four. The cottage itself had everything we needed for self-catering. The deck, table and chairs on the riverbank were very much appreciated on hot September evenings. The only criticism I have ( and it is not a criticism of the cottage), there are no street names to point you in the right direction, so even though we knew more or less where we were going, we overshot the turnoff. GPS is your friend in this situation.

Relaxing getway

We had a lovely stay at the cottage we stayed for four nights. Lovely and warm. Decking overlooking the river at the back of the property was delightful. The cottage is very private and peaceful.
