Acquisito da Maui Resort Rentals nel dicembre 2018, questo attico reale al 12 ° piano con vista sull'oceano è considerato da molti il miglior condominio sulla spiaggia di Kaanapali.

Originariamente la residenza personale dello sviluppatore del resort, la raffinata camera da letto + 2 den è lussuosamente rifinita con marmo, granito, onice e legno lavorato a mano in tutto. Fabulous Stay

Our family of 7 enjoyed our fabulous stay! What a view! Located so perfectly - teens were able to safely shop or go for coffee as they pleased. Whaler shopping are has a kid friendly outdoor space that put you her kids loved as well as a wildlife center on floor 3 that everyone enjoyed. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, beaches, excursions, pool, golf. We will definitely add 1201 to our list of places to stay often.

Superb location with breathtaking views

We couldn't have picked a better stay for our first visit to Maui. The views from our balcony were unparalleled and the condo was precisely as described. There are several restaurants that I highly recommended within walking distance as well as shops, beach activities and even pickleball. Our beach was never crowded and chairs were provided. The management company checked on us more than once but was never needed. We plan on a return visit!

Beautiful place.

This is an awesome place. Great location. Great view. The only thing I would suggest is that the mattress in the master be replaced. It is way past it's time. Also no blankets were provided for the murphy bed. I contacted Maui rentals thru vrbo. No response. We had a great time. All and all it was a lovely place to stay.

Room Configurations

Wonderful view and nice accommodations; but not for us. The main bathroom has no privacy from the bedroom, no walls or door even for the toilet. The second bedroom, although better, still has no door and glass in shower that is visible from bedroom. If someone is sleeping, any lights turned on will be visible to bedroom from both bathrooms. This might not be a problem for some; but a negative thing for us. There is a Murphy bed in the den; but there is no way to close it off from the rest of the house. I think that there used to be; but with a remodel the listed pocket doors have been removed.

Wonderful stay in Kaanapali, Maui!

Our family had a wonderful stay in unit 1201 of the Whaler. We had never been to Maui and I was a little nervous that the location was going to be very crowded and that there would be alot of traffic. The location was perfect, the Whaler was a very nice property, with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our unit had beautiful views and was extremely comfortable for all of us. The only reason for a rating of 4 overall is as other reviews mentioned, the carpet needs to be cleaned or most likely replaced in the primary living area, (the fabric sofas could be cleaned as well) and the refrigerator has an issue and is rusting as the top freezer and refrigerator door were sticking/off balance that I believe is causing condensation and rusting of the hinges. I had to clean the mold built up in the seal when we arrived. For the price we paid, I should not have had to do that. The kitchen is very well stocked and otherwise wonderful. Wonderful location, views, comfortable!!!! We cannot wait to return to Maui!

The condo was very roomy for 4 adults. The balcony and view were the best. The Whaler property is beautiful and in a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful But Not Perfect

First and most importantly, my husband and I enjoyed a WONDERFUL10 days at this property. The view is outstanding and the location was excellent with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Over the course of our 10-day stay, we saw so many amazing sites just from our balcony: sea turtles swimming along the beach, pods of dolphins playing and even two whales (not yet in season) and tremendously beautiful sunsets. The bed in the master was very comfortable and communications with the property manager were returned promptly. We have two primary reasons for rating this property 4 stars instead of 5. First, the wifi was horrible. Absolutely terrible. I reported it to property management twice and the response was that they could send someone to reset the router. We reset it ourselves with no improvement. We both work remotely for our jobs and often have to work on vacation to address urgent matters and the poor wifi service made it difficult to get our work done during these times. Second, much of this unit needs updating, including the appliances. For the price, and the description as being the "crown jewel," I had higher expectations. Just one more thought on this property that might prevent me from staying here again (and I don't think anything can be done to change it, so this is just FYI if you're considering staying here): the toilets/bathrooms connected to the bedrooms are open to the bedroom. There is no partition for privacy when using the toilet. For me, that's just awkward. Luckily, it was just my husband and I staying, and we could use the toilet in the secondary room or the hall bath. Overall, this is a beautiful unit with tons of potential, it just needs updating and corrected wifi.

Perfect location and amazing view of beach. Condo was very spacious and very nice. Only negative was A/C in living room wasn’t working well and had To call maintenance twice. Also, microwave needs actual glass tray and not the makeshift one that’s there. Overall a great time

Family vacation in paradise

Condo and views are breathtaking. We had five grandchildren and plenty of room. Lanai even fun to sleep on for teens. Amazing decor. Lanai stretches around for views that were spectacular. We left lots of snorkel and ocean/pool gear and there was already a few. Well furnished.

Best location on Maui!

You just can’t beat the location of this property or the view. Close to all the activities, catamaran charters, beach fun and walking distance to everything you need. It’s just gorgeous. The short drive to Lahaina gets you to the cute town with shopping and restaurants. Dive Maui is a great dive shop. Love it!

Great Views all around , Clean and neat . Lanai was great for spectacular sunsets.

Best Location on the Sand

Our family of 6 spent a good portion of Spring Break at 1201, and it was absolutely amazing. The wrap-around deck seems to never end. The view of the beach and sunsets from here is second to none. We loved being so close to Whaler's Village for dining and shopping, and many snorkeling/sailing excursions launch from here. Just so convenient. A+ location! Also, the unit is large and immaculate, featuring large windows to enjoy the views. We made great use of the large fitness center downstairs. New equipment. Can't wait to come back to this unit!

Everything we read about this condo on VRBO either met or exceeded our expectations. The views were excellent, the accommodations were just as described and we would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. Perfect location and Connor Pauly beach. Close to great snorkeling and close to great restaurants and shopping!

Very nice property

We really enjoyed our stay in Maui and this property made for a great home base for our family. With four teenage children, we need space to spread out, etc. and the Whaler was a perfect selection. The only notable challenge we had was that the air conditioning was unable to consistently keep up at times (nothing terrible). We kept the balcony doors closed, etc. but it was a particularly warm time in Maui so it is likely just a one-time event.

King's Palace for a week

We had a grand time at this property. This unit has 270 degree views, and frankly the mountains with their rainbows compete with the ocean sunsets for best view of the day. instant beach access. One block from shopping, including the ABC store (food, clothes, etc.). Full kitchen, huge balconies. Once we got the hang of the HVAC we settled in for a king's vacation. My one gripe, the pictures show a piano with no cover and so as a piano-playing family we rightfully assumed we would have a playable piano in the suite. False advertising on this part - the piano actually has a locked cover on it. You can stare at it, you can walk around it, but you can't play it... Otherwise the perfect spot for a grand adventure.

First Class!

Second time staying in unit 1201, love everything about it! Newly remodeled master suite and guest suite, and new carpet throughout. Such a prime location with an amazing view, you really can't beat it. The unit is so spacious and comfortable. Thank you for offering it for rent!
