Canopy Wonders Casa per le vacanze

La casa dispone di tre camere ciascuna con un letto matrimoniale. Due delle camere hanno il bagno privato completo, mentre la terza condivide un bagno completo con l'area comune. Tutta la casa dispone di acqua calda riscaldata a energia solare (con riserva di energia elettrica). Anche una cucina completamente attrezzata, zona pranzo, lavatrice / asciugatrice e un'area comune con TV satellitare e WiFi.

La casa ha dei balconi avvolgenti ed è costruita su palafitte che la posizionano nella chioma degli alberi e gli danno una sensazione e una vista come nessun'altra casa. L'interno della casa è arredato e decorato con pezzi unici fatti a mano su misura per la casa che rendono il luogo un'attrazione in sé.

Si trova su una grande proprietà, ci sono altre case in affitto sulla proprietà, ma a distanza di grido per garantire a ciascuno la privacy. Proprio lungo la strada dalla proprietà ci sono diversi ristoranti, un piccolo supermercato, gallerie d'arte e negozi di souvenir. Inoltre nella zona ci sono diverse attrazioni come riserve private, un giardino delle farfalle, visite notturne e altro.

Muoversi:

La maggior parte delle attrazioni offre il trasporto, ma ci sono anche taxi a chiamata o solo lungo la strada e un autobus pubblico che collega Santa Elena e la Riserva di Monteverde. Se stai guidando 4x4 non è necessario, ma è altamente raccomandato non solo per Monteverde ma per il Costa Rica in generale (o almeno un'auto con una buona altezza da terra).

We had a wonderful stay. We loved having the forest all around us, and the artistry of the decor in the house was beautiful! It was easy getting into town, and the host, Daniela, was extremely helpful with recommendations of activities, restaurants, grocery places, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was a magical place to stay, and we wish we could have stayed longer. It is very spacious and comfortable for larger families. It was very clean and had all of the helpful amenities (laundry soap, towels, shampoo, stocked kitchen, etc). The setting of the home is incredible and we loved seeing monkeys, coati, and beautiful birds right from our balcony. I would absolutely stay here again.

Secluded but accessible

Property is quite unique in design and memorable. Although a bit off the beaten path it is quite close to town and other attractions. You hear and see wildlife (monkeys, coatis, birds) and there is a lot of room that allows private accommodations for 3 separate couples. I would suggest flashlights be provided (short power outage and at night the premises outside are quite dark). No cleaning during 3 days there, but not really an issue. Kitchen is well equipped and overall place is comfortable and a good value for larger group.

Jungle House

This was a great place if you want to truly feel like you are in the jungle. The last part of the drive was a little scary but we were fair warned, so no problem. From inside the house, we saw a monkey, two Coati’s and out by the car we saw an Agouti and her babies. The house was clean, a few spiders but to be expected in the jungle. We did a load of laundry, they supplied the detergent. There was also coffee provided. You can also order breakfast the night before to be delivered the next morning. The only downfall for our group of 3 couples, was the furniture in the living room wasn’t comfy to hang out on after a full day of hiking/zip lining etc. with that said, we chose the house knowing it wasn’t a typical couch. The woodwork in this house is amazing, every room has so much detailed work…so beautiful!!! Daniela, our host was amazing to work with, very helpful and always responded very quickly.

Beautiful house and location

The house is gorgeous, better than the photos. It's deep in the wild and you will see plenty of critters. It's quite a bit of a walk into town, but there is a small grocery store and a few restaurants nearby. Host is very responsive.

Exceeded my expectations.

We were all thrilled with the accommodations. We felt like we were staying in a big treehouse-so close to nature and beautiful birds, monkeys and coatis. There were porches all around the home and windows galore. We can back to the home each night so that we could enjoy the beautiful space.Daniella was very communicative and helpful!We loved our stay.

Magical Stay

It is the most magical place we have ever stayed. The attention to detail is beyond anything I have seen in a rental property. Beyond the beauty, it was spotless and Daniela was an amazing hostess always communicative and ready to help. We absolutely loved our time there, wish we could have stayed longer, and can't wait to return!

Amazing property and great stay in Monteverde

Loved our stay here. Host Danielle was great and provided us with excellent support through the arrival and check in process. The place is set amongst trees in nature with unique woodwork inside the house.

Hidden Gem with All the Things!

We had a lovely stay in the Canopy Cabin! Our host was above and beyond with communication; thank you, Daniela! The cabin rooms with on-suite baths made for a perfect stay with the family. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the property is located near some delicious restaurants.

Fun to watch the monkeys

The property is just outside of town. Would recommend a car to get around. It is a bit tricky to find after dark. The manager sent us detailed instructions to help and met us at the property to check in. Lots of monkeys to watch just outside on our decks. The furniture in the living room is a bit hard for sitting, but a great place to stay if you are looking for nature. Highly recommend.

Great Christmas!

We had a wonderful stay at Daniela's Canopy Wonders House! What a unique property nestled into the natural landscape...we were greeted in the mornings by monkeys, agoutis, and coatis amongst many tropical birds while sitting outside on the porches. The property is quiet but easily accessible to the Monteverde town center. Daniela is an excellent host, the house is impeccably clean with amazing wood work throughout. Do not miss a night tour or day time tour with George, your vacation will not be complete without it! We hope to come back to Monteverde again! Pura Vida!

Unique property

My family and I have stayed in a dozen or so VRBO homes over the past several years, and this one is easily the most unique and memorable. The house is up on stilts, with three essentially self-contained suites branching out from a central living room. The property has a treehouse theme, with rustic wood accents throughout the house--the doors, the lights, the balconies, the kitchen counters, and even the bathroom sinks. The living room, the kitchen, and all the bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that face the forest. Wherever you may be standing from inside the home, you feel like you're perched in the trees. I've never seen anything like it. The price is a bargain for one of the most memorable houses you'll ever stay in. The host (Daniela) was extremely responsive and friendly as well. I cannot recommend it enough.

Wonderful house hidden in the forrest

Several groups of monkeys entertained us at this hideaway. Daniela couldn't have been a more hospitable host. We had a great time.

Great place and central location

The house was perfect. We had our two kids (3 & 5) and my dad with us and the three bedroom house was great. Well furnished, clean, and the host Daniela was amazing. The location took us a minute to find (Waze and Google Maps don’t have accurate directions) but Daniela gave us a video of the route showing where to turn. Once we found it, it was easy. It’s very close to many restaurants, has a playground across the street, and a short drive to any of the major attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We were looking for a unique property in Monteverde and this checked the box! It was obvious from the furnishing of the property that the family that built and maintains the home and the surrounding area are passionate about the property. It was great!

Best VRBO I have ever stayed in.

Daniela was an excellent host. We had a nail in a tire and her father came to the rescue. The communication and support from the host was "second to none". The setting was in the middle of the rainforest with decks on every side of the house. Each time we went out we saw and heard birds and one time even had monkeys entertain us. The site was convenient to reach all of our excursions in the Monteverde area and there we a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance. We could not have asked for a better stay.
