This was a beautiful little studio overlooking the owner’s terraced garden. The space was clean and tidy, and cleverly arranged. The owner was great to deal with and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this location and enjoying the sights of Victoria.

Cathie is one of the finest hosts you could ever experience on a VRBO property. She thought of everything including lovely goodies to begin your first breakfast there as well as safety options such as a first aid kit on site, specific details about operations of systems, and very responsive overall and highly recommended to stay in this extremely quiet and lovely neighborhood. We look forward to returning to Cathie‘s beautiful home. Quality of linens, coffee, China-everything was first class.

Wowzers!! Thank you for the compliments and this first class *FIVE STAR* review. I like my guests to feel like they have opened the door to their "home away from home" and I add a few personal touches to add to the overall experience. We have all traveled and know how daunting it can be that first morning when all we want is a coffee and maybe a lite bite. So thanks for pointing that out. Glad you enjoyed the serenity of the location. You guys new welcomnback anytime! Thanks again!

Loved the suite and the garden. Very bright, clean and comfortable. Convenient to have in-suite laundry facilities. Kitchen well stocked and the breakfast fixings much appreciated. Cathie is a great host! Not for the mobility challenged. Many steps from the driveway to the suite. We will enjoy staying with Cathie in the future.

Thank you for this "FIVE STAR" review. So happy to hear you enjoyed the suite and the extra touches. Also for mentioning the ensuite laundry, especially if you are staying a week or so, it's nice to freshen up clothes or even wash your own towels if you want to. I also I appreciate you mentioning the stairs. They are sturdy, with a handrail, but yes, if you have mobility issues, this could be a challenge. You are welcome back anytime!

Of all the short term rentals we have stayed in, this was by far the best appointed; we needed nothing to add for our 4 night stay. Excellent location and lovely property. Host Cathie was warm and helpful, easy to contact. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Victoria.

Thank you for such a great review and for mentioning that our location is good for people attending things at UVIC! I love it when my guests mention how clean my suite is too. I try to "wow" my guests with that. Also, I do like to communicate with my guests. Travel is stressful enough and when your host (me) makes you feel at ease with check in details etc, it makes travel so much better. Thanks and please come back again!! Maybe for fun next time!
