Wonderful place for a family vacation! The grandkids were sad to leave. Jason and Christine are amazing hosts and very attentive. I rent a house for our family vacation every summer, and Belle Isle is the nicest home we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed was provided including great beach toys and chairs/umbrellas, bikes, well stocked kitchen, etc. The community has so many amenities which we took full advantage of. Highly recommend!

What a great property literally steps from the beach. Our family of four (parents teenage daughters) fit right in. Enjoyed s’mores on the fire pit, relaxing on the 2nd floor balcony, grilling out and outdoor eating, and most of all, being able to walk to the beach in less than 3 minutes. Jason has thought of everything: bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, firewood, and a very well outfitted kitchen. Kitchen and bathrooms are spectacular; I’m envious of the master bath shower. Outside of the beach, we enjoyed taking the South Shore train line (10 minutes away) right into downtown Chicago for a day trip, and kayaking on the Galien River (saw bald eagles and sandhill cranes up close) in New Buffalo also 10 minutes away. We will be back.

Best stay at Beachwalk

The house was perfect, everything was new and so clean!! Could not have asked for a better house for our family vacation. The kids are already asking when we can go back. Thanks again for everything!

Belle Isle and Captain Jack’s Loft

The owner thought of everything! The house was just as advertised and more. Great location to the beach. Only comment is for the association - the pool area is too small for the size of Beachwalk and how its grown!

Thank you, Carol, we are so happy that you and your family enjoyed your stay at Belle Isle! The Beachwalk association will be expanding the pool area before next summer! Also in the plans are a new and expanded snack bar area, clubhouse, and a bigger fishing pier.

We had such a great time at Jason’s house! This house had everything anyone would need for their stay at beachwalk! Even had everything you would need to take for the kiddos! The location is key! Center of everything! Thank you for sharing your wonderful house with us and creating such a clean experience for us!

Wonderful vacation home

We had an amazing stay in the Beachwalk community. The home was clean and had everything we needed and more. Plenty of beach toys, wagons, baby gear in the home, and cookware. Home was a short walk to both the beach and the pool. Jason and Christine were great to work with and quick to respond. We can't wait to come back!

The house was immaculate. It was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The garage was stocked with high quality beach gear, which was very much appreciated. The owner responded within minutes to any question I submitted.

Great stay at Belle Islea

I’m fussy about cleanliness and this home is immaculate. We loved that they give you a small amount of basics when you arrive (i.e., toilet tissue, dishwasher soap, paper towels etc) The beds are super comfy, the balcony offers a great swing, furniture pretty and clean, great kitchen, short walk to swimming pools, beach, cute cafe for coffees, teas, Chicago hot dogs, ice cream and the like. They have family games, and beach necessities for you. Also short walk to beautiful Lake Michigan beach to walk. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Friendly, well-kept neighborhood! We are coming back soon!

Beautiful Belle Isle Vacation

We had a lovely stay at Belle Isle! Jason and Christine are wonderful hosts. Great communication, with clear check in and check out instructions. The house is very clean and well maintained, very comfortable beds. The property was perfect four our group, 4 adults and 3 kids, two families traveling together. The kids loved the bunk room. Quick walk to the beach and the pool. Kitchen well stocked for preparing meals for a group, with great dining spaces inside and outside. Lots of good beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, wagons, beach toys) to make for fun long days at the beach. Beachwalk is lovely with included rentals of kayaks/paddleboards on Lake Kai, easily reserved online. Thanks for a great stay!!

We have stayed in this resort numerous times, but this house was one of our favorites because of the close proximity to the beach, pool, and other amenities. Plus, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the essentials and room for our groceries. The house was also immaculately clean.

Beach Community Oasis

The property was fantastic. Had everything we needed for the beach and for our entire stay (beach chairs, wagon, bikes, firewood, kitchen supplies, etc.) The community is a great neighborhood with a pool and small lake. There is a ton of deck space to enjoy the outdoors as well as a firepit and a firewood. Lots of people walking in the neighborhood that were friendly. This house is just a few houses away from the walkway to the beach. The beach was very nice - pretty quiet when we were there but it was the end of September. Definitely a house we would book again! Close enough to town that we could easily try some of the local restaurants. Hosts were very responsive and offered great recommendation!

Excellent beach house - very comfortable, beyond fully equipped

Jason and Christine thought of everything to make this a wonderful stay. Directions very detailed. Garage fully stocked with beach toys and bikes, kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfortable. We have stayed in a lot of locations in beachwalk and in the Michiana area - this was the best. Thank you for being excellent hosts.

Such a wonderful property!

Everything in this property was in excellent condition- clean, high-quality, and with every convenience included. The location was perfect, with an easy walk to the beach, pool, fishing, paddle boarding, etc. they truly thought of everything you might need while staying here! We had a wonderful stay with our three children and their grandparents- thank you!
