Shoo Fly è un classico cottage sulla spiaggia con vista sull'oceano situato all'estremità meridionale di Kure Beach. Questa bellissima casa unifamiliare porterà sicuramente a te e ai tuoi cari molti ricordi caldi delle vacanze estive !! Ocean Front 4 camere da letto 3 bagni cottage w / passerella indipendente per la spiaggia. Vieni e goditi la pace e la tranquillità mentre sei seduto sulla PORTA FRONTALE OCEAN con le sedie e ascolta i suoni delle onde. Questo cottage dispone di una zona soggiorno con TV a schermo piatto, connessione internet wireless anche per l'intrattenimento e una cucina completamente attrezzata. Una camera da letto matrimoniale w / king, 2a camera da letto w / regina e 3a camera da letto w / pieno e 2 bagni. Al piano inferiore si ha un ingresso separato per la 4a camera da letto con letto a castello singolo, angolo cottura, TV a schermo piatto e bagno. Approfitta di tutto ciò che Kure Beach e Pleasure Island hanno da offrire! Goditi il viaggio in traghetto di 30 minuti per la storica Southport, vai a pescare nel molo più antico di Pleasure Island, visita l'Acquario della Carolina del Nord o fai shopping sul lungofiume nella storica Wilmington. Occupazione massima 9 e parcheggio per massimo 3 auto. NESSUN PARCHEGGIO È AMMESSO SU QUALSIASI ZONA DI ERBA, SABBIA O LATO DELLA STRADA. Ti verrà chiesto di rimuoverli.

This house is extremely outdated. Upon entering the house and inspecting it, there were marks all over the inside of the door and the walls. The deck surrounding the second floor of the house needs to be sanded or updated. My family had to make sure that everybody was wearing shoes so they didn’t get a splinter. The bedroom in the pictures with the bunkbeds is not attached to the main house it is a completely separate apartment downstairs, which was not in the description. The Landscaping of the house is terrible. The only nice thing about this house is that you were on the beach.

Great location. Outdoor chairs could use an upgrade, perhaps something with some cushion. Place was clean. The beach was away from the crowds with was great.

We read reviews from earlier this year, and we’re concerned about the cleanliness and the condition. Property was spotless inside, and things were a bit aged and worn, but that did not matter to us. We didn’t expect a separate downstairs apartment, which was nice except for the lousy bunkbed mattresses. The three bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable. It occurred to me to ask whether I could fix some of the little things that a homeowner can do, but I decided I’m not picking up a screwdriver all week. My son and I noticed lots of aluminum shards in the sand just as soon as you step up the concrete going towards the ocean. These could be easily taken up by one of those rolling magnets. Taking care of that little problem would go a long way towards safety and comfort.. We like to try different beach houses every year, and we’d gladly return to Shoo Fly again.

Get family getaway

This house was in a Great location and it was so nice to walk down to the beach and have privacy. My parents loved sitting on the porch and watching the sunrises and just enjoying the amazing view. Would highly recommend this house to everyone

Great location!

Great location! The house does need some updating and the additional room did smell of mildew. Linens and towels were provided, however we did have to purchase other basic necessities such as dish soap, sponges, trash bags, hand soap and toilet paper. Overall, a decent place to stay and great views of the ocean!

This property needs a thorough clean. There are a lot of ways in which it could be improved that would not cost much money. A deep clean followed by minimal repairs (like towel hangers not secured, slow toilet refill fixed, some paint touchups, electrical outlets, etc) would really go a long way. Also suggest updating the linens as they really have that gas station toilet paper feel. Amazon quality would be a step up. The location is amazing and the house is cute. The suggestions above are relatively simple updates that would go a long way. A basic handy person or skilled homeowner could do all of this in a day.

Perfect Location

Shoo Fly is in the perfect location on Kure Beach. Far enough away from any public access that it wasn't crowded all Memorial Day weekend. The private access to the beach and balcony looking out at the water is amazing. Like the other reviews say, the house is old and falling apart but its still very comfy. The ground floor room is very musty and I wouldn't ask anyone to spend time in there. We would love to stay here for location alone, but hopefully at a little lower price point. The condition of the house is not befitting the premium you pay for location.

We had a wonderful time at the Shoo Fly property. Pictures were accurate and the place was clean when we checked in. There seemed to be several new appliances on the property and everything was in working order. Our only concern was the deck to the beach has rotted away on the one side. None of the support beams are attached and it made us very nervous with kids that they would break further or the kids would get their feet caught in the gap. I have seen previous reviews stating the same thing about the deck to the water. I'm sure it's a lot to upkeep in a place that stays wet and humid - but someone is going to get hurt.

Great location but the property needs some cleaning!

The house is extremely well placed, near attractions and oceanfront. We liked the clean sheets and towels, and the provision of the first set of paper towels and toilet paper. We also enjoyed the gas grill and the under the deck area. However, the house needs to be better cleaned (there were dust bunnies and sand under the beds, under the couch pillows, under the refrigerator and the fan blades were full of dust). On the listing it was not clear the the room with bunk beds was totally outside ( you had to go outside and down the stairs to reach it). The downstairs room was smelling of mildew.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!There were bugs all over the kitchen and living room when we first arrived. Contacted the realtor and we were told they were crickets. They were not crickets!! The house was not clean, you couldn't even see out of the kitchen window at the beach. You would run out of hot water during one shower. Sliding glass door in dining room would not close completely. Several decking boards were not nailed down. The air conditioning could not cool the home it would be 80 inside everyday. You would need to run the dryer multiple times to get anything dry. Old appliances and junk sittings downstairs in the way of trash can. The handrails on the walkway to the beach were broken with nails sticking out. This house was a waste of money!! I hope this helps someone save their hard earned money!!

Dated & bit Ran down

Property team was very kind and nice to help. House is in a great location. It s very dated and a bit ran down. Electrical issues when we stayed. (Light switch lightly shocked a child) It was clean and lovely view- we made the best of it. There is also not a walk way from the house to the beach like the other beach front homes, so we had to go to the neighboring lot to take the walkway. If your ok with things a bit rickety and falling apart, you’ll be fine. Walls peeling in the bathroom. Old dryer that puts lent all over your clothes. Deck that was leaning a bit. 4th detached room with bunk beds not suitable for young children given it’s downstairs outside entry only. Also with it being a sort of basement it smelt musty/moldy and a dehumidifier in the room (didn’t work well). Was slightly disappointed in what we received for the price compared to other NC beach homes.

Excellent beach. Very nice property. We only needed a 1 bedroom, but this house was too good to pass up for the price. Right on the beach! Pets allowed! Easy process check-in and check-out.
