Great for a family vacation

We had a great time with the family for our vacation. The house had plenty of room for all of us (16 people plus dogs). The location was close to plenty of food and the beach.

Great location!

Both units were very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of beach chairs to borrow. We enjoyed our stay in Mission Beach.

Family Get together

The location was great...lots of nearby eateries and other amenities and just a block from a great beach. Everyone very much enjoyed our week here. It was perfect for our needs.

Great for 15 people in the center of MB

We enjoyed this vacation home that fit all 15 of us. We loved being right in the heart of Mission Beach, it was easy to walk to restaurants, the beach, and the bay. Both units were clean and well maintained, the rooftop was beautiful and there was plenty of parking. We would stay again :)

Great House!

We had 3 families staying at this house and it was more than accommodating. The beds, kitchen and amenities were fantastic! It was only 3 min walk to the ocean each day with all the kids which made it very easy. I would recommended this place to anyone and plan on coming back as well.

50th Anniversary Celebration

Perfect location. Walk to Bay or Beach....Plenty of parking. (Even for our family sized vehicles) So many shops, cafes and markets near by. Accomodations were perfect for our 5 families.Kids loved their own sleep loft.The roof top deck was a wonderful place to gather in the evening under the stars.Loved the xlarge table for dining inside, and the kitchen had all we needed when preparing meals.

Exceptional property!

Beautiful home in great location. We rented both units for our daughter’s college graduation weekend. Great big upstairs room very comfortable for 11 of us to eat meals & play card games. Location was even better than we’d hoped for. Walk to soft Sandy beach, shops & restaurants. Would love to come back sometime!

Santa Clara Pl Beach House

This place was fantastic. The Surf Style team was on top of every detail to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The location was very nice too with great access to our own plot at the beach or the bay, and the MB Sports Center easily walkable. Our kids found lots of places to explore and play, while, at the same time, the adults found their own place to read or do whatever. And then when we wanted, we all had a nice space to get together to dine, play games or just watch TV. Thanks for such a nice trip

A fabulous stay!

This property was in the perfect location for our family get together. The beach and every possible amenity was just steps away. We had a large group but never felt crowded. We loved having the separate downstairs unit for our grandparents to get away when they needed it. The unit was cute, clean and comfortable, and had everything you need for great beach vacation. And thank goodness for the 5 parking spaces! Surf Style was very easy to work with. Thank you. We would love to come back.

Good for large groups

Nice open space in upstairs unit. Good parking for 3-4 vehicles. Flys really bad for first couple days until I went to Home Depot and bought some foggers for the trash cans. Not enough towels for the kitchen. Overall location is nice but on a very busy street and mornings were very congested with cars. Very functional place but beginning to look a little tired. Family had a nice time. Recommend for large groups who need a little extra parking.

Thank you for the feedback, Bret. In reviewing our communication we sent our trash vendor over immediately to clean the trash cans to deter any flies. We cannot control how busy the street is in front of the house (Mission Beach is very popular in the Summer). We hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay!

Great locayion

We had wonderful walks around the bay in the morning and fun beach time steps away with the kids. We saw so many dolphins at the beach. The home is in a great location. We enjoyed our time. We had issues with AC but they refunded part of our stay. We also had an injury because the master bed was too high for my mom. They thankfully said they’d make sure the bed didn’t have the unneeded box spring since it was a platform bed. My mom wanted to make sure others didn’t hurt themselves. Overall a great stay.

Excellent large family rental

My large family was able to stay and enjoy our selves in this wonderful home. It was very accommodating to all ages- the pull out cots were very comfortable for the two 4yr olds and the upstairs single beds fit the older girls perfectly! All beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and the beach gear was great! Parking was tight for having larger SUVs however they all fit in the designated spots. The house was ideally Located between both the bay and beach, a short 3 minute stroll in either direction was water! The grill worked great and the rest of the cooking appliances did too. The only need was the dishwasher needs to be replaced. The convenience of having a working washer and dryer was perfection. Overall, EXCELLENT stay and would definitely return!

RENTERS BEWARE. Our group of 15 were so excited about this vacation with the family, but it was beyond disappointing.This home was not clean. Within minutes of arriving, our toddlers' feet were black from the filthy floors. There was a significant amount of mold in the bathrooms, as well as the kitchen. There were ants throughout the house, so much so that they got in our luggage and were swarming in our car on the 6-hour trip home. This home is extremely unsafe for children. Most of the windows did not have locks, and many of the screens were broken or nonexistent. There were also several windows where the glass panel did not fit the frame, where a finger could easily fit and get sliced. There was no child-safe lock on the balcony door upstairs, when the third floor is clearly designed for children. While the safety and cleanliness are the primary concerns, there are normal conveniences expected of a VRBO that we're not provided or insufficient. A bathroom and kitchen were missing soap, and there was no spare roll of paper towels. There were no tissues anywhere in either house, nor spare blankets for the coach or roll-out beds. Also not a huge deal, but there was no complimentary coffee, whereas every other vacation home I've been to has offered this. When questioned about some of these things, the host said they only provide a "starter set" of supplies. VRBO has been very difficult to work with in finding a resolution, and we are escalating to the AG's office.

Yes, we do not supply food items such as coffee, and we only provide a starter supply of other paper items such as paper towels and toilet paper. Our family of 11 rented both units. Fabulous location with parking‼Sparkling clean, stocked kitchen, near grocery stores. The shed was filled with everything you need for the beach. Dining table seated us all in the upper u it. Rental agents were helpful and responsive. Our family would gladly stay here again.

What an excellent location. Close to beach and bay. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. Parking is so difficult in this location, but we had a large group with four cars and we could all park comfortably. The place was clean and had good outdoors space. A great dining room table we could all sit at to play games and eat. Our group was 15 people and two dogs and there was plenty of space. We will return.
